The best shrimp tacos I have ever had the sauces used had amazing flavours 💕 the margaritas are equally as tasty and you can also have them spicy! The staff and chef are very friendly and helpful. I went back several times in my 2 week stay. I also recommend the toasted bread with olive oil dip as an appetizer 😍 I highly recommend El Beso as a place to eat and hang out !!!

I fell in love with this restaurant!! The owners are amazing and beautiful people!! The food is hands down some of the best I have ever had!! The drinks were splendid!! My sister and I went twice in the same day because it was that good!!!! When in Cartagena, you absolutely HAVE to come here!!!!

this is the best bar and restaurant I’ve ever been to in my entire life, and I live in New York City where there are world acclaimed bars and restaurants. I would quit my job and just live in the back room of this restaurant to steal their leftovers and I would be satisfied with my life. we got the fried fish tacos and the cauliflower tacos and the fish ceviche and I want to have a bottomless stomach so that I can eat them over and over again.

A hidden little gem in Cartegena! Best fish taco’s and fish burger I’ve ever had. The fish burger comes with caramelised onions…I’d never put the two together but waw! It works! Bread of the house with olive oil and ceviche were incredible too. Cute atmosphere and the staff are lovely. Would highly recommend.

I went twice during my time in Cartagena due to proximity but the food is really tasty. They do now have an air conditioned space with couches and tables to dine. Very friendly service. Ceviche in tigers milk was super tasty, and the plantain chips were ricisimo. The shrimp tacos were unique and tasty, I liked the pickled vegetables. I would be interested in seeing an expanded menu.

Don't miss this place. Delicious, thoughtfully executed dishes. Garlic shrimp casserole and the fish tacos were standouts. Drinks are tasty and pack a punch. Highly recommend! Ambiance is fun and vibey as well.

This restaurant is one of the best places I have EVER eaten!🔥 Friends and I were visiting Cartagena for a few days after coming to Colombia for a wedding. On the last day, after having delicious food every day we wanted something new. We went to El Beso randomly after seeing such great reviews. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Having been in the food industry for over 10 years and tasting my fair share of good food. I can with out a doubt say El Beso is something else. With every bite I was moaning out loud truly enjoying every minute of every bite. Then in between bites looking forward to the next but also mourning the last I had and knowing with each bite came a little bit of sadness since I knew the end was near. I had the shrimp tacos, the French toast, and the shrimp roll, and each and every one was a must have! The French toast though made me tear up from how delicious it was! I am not one to review a restaurant so highly but honestly I have nothing bad to say. If I had the money I would invest in this place and bring it to America just to be selfish and go every day. El Beso you are doing everything right and never stop doing it! Next time I am in town (and trust me I hope it’s soon) I will be coming here every morning and night! Our server Luis, was incredible and couldn’t tell that it was his second day! Luis you KILLED IT!🔥🫶 Thank you so much El Beso for making our last day so so special!

I love everything about this restaurant, most insane best tasting food I’ve ever had. I no joke had an emotional experience eating here. Had 3 plates and the dessert. Would sell my kidney and all my belongings to eat this food again.

I was in Cartagena for almost a week and of course, I had a lot of opportunities to eat out, this is the BEST PEACE TO EAT in Cartagena by far. Small, place, nice soft music, and excellent attention by ROBINSON , Food was GREAT: To start: crab meat nachos, followed by a shrimp burger (the best) and to finish, the only dessert they had. TO DIE FOR Highly Recommended Just make sure you have the right address because the restaurant moved about 8 months ago. You won’t regret it.

This was by far the best dining experience I had in Cartagena! Luis provided fantastic service and recommendations. I’m a group of 6 we all ordered different things and each one was better than the last. The dessert at the end was the perfect way to end the night. We’ll be talking about this meal for years. A MUST DO!

Excellent food, very fresh. Not a large menu but that make it easy to choose and it's all very tasty. We took the taco's; the cauliflower taco was great! Different fresh local juices, without sugar if you ask for. Service was friendly and the prices are very affordable. Clean and open kitchen. Nice place!

Not enough words can describe the experience we had at El Beso. We were welcomed by the very professional and attentive staff and immediately seated in the restaurant which had a great classic colonial atmosphere. Right away, we felt we were at the right place. If you have the chance to take the whole menu, go for it and don’t think twice. The portions were great for sharing and I advise you to do so because you do not want to miss a dish! I wish I had enough appetite to taste every single dish. We started off with the corvina ceviche which was easily the best ceviche we’ve had. We also had the shrimp burger with papas criollas, the camarones al ajillo and the chicharron de corvina. The chefs did an astounding job executing those dishes and are clearly knowledgeable in culinary arts. We could clearly taste the precise attention to details and balance in flavours. The quality of those ingredients and the mastery of the cooking methods resulted in fish with perfect texture and a taste natural to Cartagena. Do yourself a favour and simply go and enjoy the experience they have ready for you. Sincerely, thanks to the whole team for delivering the best culinary experience we’ve had since arriving in Cartagena.

Lovely place! Very cozy and the owner Juan came to our table to have a chat which made it very personal. The food was great - all seafood so nicely fresh. Had a great time, would definitely come back.

We went here last summer and I've been thinking about the ceviche ever since! It was incredible. I've tried to make Tiger's milk at home but nowhere near as good (do you guys use coconut milk or something? what makes it white??? 😢) We also spoke to the owner who was lovely and really wanted to know our thoughts on the food. At the time, I think this place was relatively new and it just happened to be around the corner from where we were staying, otherwise we might never have found it. Keep up the excellent work! 😊

Good food, customer service is great. They really care about there customers wellbeing. Roversy is really friendly and helpful waitress. :) Makes sure if we liked the food or not. And ofcourse food was very good. Nicely seasoned and well cooked. We had Garlic Shrimp caserole and Fish tacos, shrimp was fresh and tasted perfect. Tacos bread was really good fresh corn dough. Cause we went midday Due to the warm climate only downside was that there is no air-conditioning but thats not a big problem. But with air-conditioning maybe we could stay longer and order more. Otherwise everything is 10/10.

My local friends said these are the best tacos in Cartagena and I agree! I have eaten tacos here a number of times at different restaurants, in México, my town, Mexican friends' homes and yes, these are authentically good! Street side seating is quaint. There was entertainment Saturday night with a singer singing salsa music in the street. Nice!

We came here because this showed up as a restaurant that offered vegetarian dishes. Alas… only two items … mango ceviche and cauliflower tacos. That is why I chopped off one star. A restaurant that says it offers vegetarian items should at least offer a few more than just two items. Since we were hungry and had walked to find this place we chose to sit and eat. The mango ceviche was a little too tart for me but overall tasty. If it had a little more avocado it could have been more balanced. The cauliflower tacos were excellent. The presentation and taste were perfect. (Note: tacos are not fresh or home made but store bought.) You do have the option to request for a spicier version or a less spicier version. Mine was a spicier version. Apparently they only offer one dessert item - a chocolate cake or similar. We passed on that. The service is very friendly and fast. The inner courtyard was a pleasant spot to sit and eat. This seems to be a decent spot with a nice relaxed ambiance.

They renovated recently and might look different exterior. It’s a hostel and restaurant place. The food is amazing. I love the freshness and flavor. My favorite is the fish taco. Just a normal tapa place and drink like Negroni is very good. Music can be too loud in the main entrance but gets less annoying in the back if you want.

We found El Beso based on google review and we had the best food that we had the whole time in Cartagena. The fish and shrimp taco were delicious. The drinks were amazing. The atmosphere and wait staff was outstanding. It was so good that we went back again. Thank you for giving us the ultimate experience.
