    Didn't like this place at all. The pool was closed, i was left without air conditioning for 2days, the supervisor was unapologetic and refused to help me out or attempt to correct the situation. Bed sheets were dirty and to get them changed on the first night. There are better places to stay.

    Beware: the hotel seems to be trying hard to tighten their security. But we had someone knock on our door 15 minutes after we arrived claiming to be from the staff and saying they wanted to welcome us and ask if we needed anything. We refused to open the door. We could not see anything through the peephole. We asked at reception later. They said that was NOT a regular hotel procedure. More likely, it was a person trying to get in our room. We feel we dodged a bullet. Do not open your door to anyone. Ask them to wait and call reception. We had a hunch someone inside the hotel set the scam up. The room and beds were comfortable. But the floor seemed dusty, perhaps because of the proximity to the beach. The buffet breakfast is ok, but the coffee is pretty bad.

    Very family friendly. Decent breakfast choices. Bar and everything closes at 10pm. Rooms were a bit smaller than they appeared in the pictures and are a bit tight for 4 adults. The ocean view is great from the balcony. Room service food was good and decently priced for a hotel of that size. Reception desk was helpful even though they messed up during my check in process which then made my checkout process longer . Overall good stay at this hotel. FYI if you don't want to be around many kids this is not the hotel for you as it was very family oriented. Nice area and very close to the airport

    The hotel is just ok. I definitely will never go back though. Check in process was way too slow. This one front desk agent took 45 minutes just to check in 3 people ahead of me. She gave me a key that didn’t even work the first time. The room is clean but it’s aging. The restaurant had good food. I’m sure you can find better somewhere else.

    Absolutely horrible experience here. The security is horrible, there is no quiet place to work, the food is awful, the employees (besides the cleaning staff) are very rude and not helpful. I feel like they are racist towards Gringos. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels in my life and have never been treated as badly as I have by this hotel. If you are a tourist, avoid this place at all costs. It is also very overpriced and if you ask to speak with a manager they are never available. Highly tempted to sue this hotel for breach of contract since they treated us so poorly.

    This was our first stop in Colombia after traveling from Canada. We book hotels through our travels with fitness centres as this is a focus while traveling in new countries. Arriving to the hotel we were told the gym was closed. The reason I am writing this bad review is due to the inability of management to deal with a situation like this. I WOULD NOT stay here again. The management does not make sense and they do not want to ensure they have happy customers. Whether it’s a situation like mine or another it would make me uneasy staying here.

    Hotel was nice, it needs some remodeling but overall is nice for a quick stay. It's near the airport so it's pretty convenient in that way, but it's not that close from the beach. Service from the staff at the pool is poor but at the counter is pretty good.

    Our stay at the hotel was nice. The staff is great and incredibly friendly. We personally liked the location, it is 20ish minutes away from the city center and quiet. The only thing we did not like was the food. Breakfast is average... the room service was very pricey honestly for the fact it arrived late and very cold. So I highly discourage you from getting room service. You can get much better food for a lot less through food delivery apps. Besides that, our stay was very nice!

    It's a decent hotel. The age is showing in some places. Junior suite are spacious 2 room spaces. Our room only had a shower no tub. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. Staff has limited English speaking abilities. Having Google translate and introductory Spanish was beneficial. Hotel is very close to airport, city with one side facing the city and the other facing the ocean. Breakfast available daily. Restaurant available for dinner. Room service is 24/7.

    Literally 5 mins from the airport. Friendly service and unexpected GREAT food. 3 level pool that is fun for adults and kids. A pool bar, an evening bar and a restaurant with high quality local cousins. The beach and boardwalk are just outside. Great location

    This is the worst hotel I’ve ever been in my life. The customer service is the worst, the hotel doesn’t meet any expectations, the hotel amenities are very old and the smell is just the worst. Definitely never coming back and please, don’t waste your money coming to this place. I hate the hotel, the rooms and everything. Thank God I came for 1 day because this is just good to waste your money.

    This hotel has a serious MOLD problem. The window shades have mold growing on them and the AC pumps out moldy air. The musty smell hits you as soon as you walk into the air conditioned room. I woke up with a sore throat and stuffy nose, I wonder why.. Feel fine shortly after leaving. Beware staying here if you are sensitive to MOLD!

    Wish I listened to the recent reviews, they were right. Messy construction, rusty things, the hot tub was dirty and not hot, useless wifi. They won't check you in until 3pm even if the room is ready.. I stayed 1 night and switched to a "lower" 3 star hotel that's actually MUCH better and addressed all these issues!

    The hotel, the location is nice close to the airport. They need a little bit more upgraded more entertainment little bit more English the food was good. The staff don’t they speak little bit English. They still help you with their phone if they could upgrade the hotel, get a little bit more activity and a little bit more entertainment. It will be better I was there May 21, I had a great time

    Hotel is located across the street to a beach and all the rooms have sea view - which is very nice. It is not situated in city center, but you can reach fast (5min drive) with a taxi/uber. Not so great breakfast options, especially considering is a 4star hotel. They have a nice pool outside and good facilities overall.

    We had it 2 incidents in this hotel. 1. The day I wanted to use the pool they tried to charge me for a swimming hat, which I think is ridiculous and no ethic from them (they don't put these kind of stuffs in any description when you booked). 2. On December 15th, 2022, the day we were checking out, we went to have our breakfast (as they included), we stayed at the lobby because our flight was at 10:00 P. M. and.. Oh.. Surprise, we got food poisoning, and not only us, a lot of people got it to. We got examinated by first responders at the hotel (which was OK), the other surprise was one of the managers who knew it we were feeling really sick, he ofered to us get some water and other drinks, and medicine to control our simptons... But it was really a joke, he wants us to pay for it and the delivery, the only thing I remember is that he is from Cali, Colombia (some jose or Javier, I think so) This hotel does not really care about anyone and we are not definitely coming back. Look around next time, there is better places than this one. 2

    Horrible Hotel, bad customer service. I was overcharged after I paid online for everything. The hotel wanted more money. I escalated the issue and it got worst. After paying for breakfast they charged me again. This hotel thrives in making extra money of made up fees. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. THE WORST.

    Room was generally clean but hotel is quite old, pictures must be from many years ago. Unfortunately staff were quite unhelpful and rude across check-in, breakfast and check-out. Even with 1 hour left of breakfast, most of the food had run out and staff refused to replenish. Also wouldn’t let us check-out until they had ‘surveyed’ the mini bar which I thought was odd and has never happened to us before. Location also not ideal, across from beach is all it had going for it, there is nothing else around. Would not recommend, it seems all positive reviews are from pre-COVID.

    Terrible, book via priceline for a 4 adult room, they told me it was for 2 and i have to pay extra for the other 2, even showing a screenshot of the reservation, told me that wasnt their problem and i need to talk to priceline, very unprofessional, kids waterpark not functioning, was the reason i book this hotel, bad bad experience

    Excellent hotel. Very affordable. The service is wonderful. Every staff member is kind and fast. The hotel is clean and the amenities are fantastic. It’s highly recommended for families. The kids love it and enjoy the big pools. It’s mandatory to wear a swimming cap that can be purchase for $3500 pesos. It includes free breakfast buffet and it’s very good with a variety of fruit, eggs, rice breads, cereals juices and more. HIGHLY recommend. The only thing missing was a working gym but reception told me that was closed after the pandemic. Really enjoyed my stay in this hotel and would love to come back.

    Although there are some good things about this hotel, others are for consideration. Loved the food and variety. Great presentation. Kind of pricy. However, it is sad to find things like the front, main logo all hanging and broken like it had no administration to repair it. In passageways it was nice to feel the breeze but accumulated dust on windows, railings and other metal exposed to the weather simply gave a terrible sense of abandonment. There were others but it'd be too long to mention.

    Visited in January 2022 with my wife, the in-laws and my dad, totalling 3 rooms. The hotel is dated. When we arrived they were working on the swimming pools so only the kids pool was open to which we had not been clearly informed. The hotel is next to a busy highway which you will hear all night long. My in-laws bedroom had high humidity, my dad's room had light that didn't work and it was difficult to open the balcony door and the toilet was clogged. Our room was the biggest but quite dirty, dust and hairs in abundance. My in-laws insisted on this hotel, it's safe to say I will not entrust them with this responsibility again. A cab fare to the old city costs between 10k and 15k.

    Actually it’s a really nice hotel with a nice lobby and friendly concierge. But you need to wait hours for the reception. The rooms are ok but not as clean and spacious for a 4-star hotel. And there’s not much to decided for breakfast.

    On arrival we found out that the adult pool was undergoing repair, the gym was closed as was the spa...all the things we wanted to use. Had this been made clear before we would not have booked. We couldn’t cancel since we wouldn’t get our money back right away. This hotel is beyond dated . Please don’t let the pictures cloud your judgement, hotel does not look close to the pictures they have online and have no amenities whatsoever. Worst experience ever .

    Definitely not a 4 Star hotel. If this is what 4 star hotels are in Columbia I don't even want to see a 3.5 star hotel. Place is really dated and not kept well. Walls and furniture is really dirty and tired. Pool is closed but they opened up the kiddie pool for us to swim in 1 foot of water

    Quite good if you're just looking for staying a past the night, other than that, adults pool is still under construction, the offer the park where they can take you but they don't mention if some atracctions at the park are not working, the pictures are good just not that accurated to what you expect, stare is brilliant whatsoever nothing to do at the hotel rather than sleep...

Having said that the reception staff were very kind and the concierge very helpful. We cancelled and booked into another hotel and therefore cannot comment on the room or breakfast.

    Great for kids the place has many options for children. I've been here more than 10 times including my wedding reception and I've never been disappointed. The staff is good and very friendly. I would recommend to anyone visiting cartagena soon.

    Awful experience from start to finish for our family vacation. The check-in process took about an hour. 2 employees working for about 10 people in line. The room was old and outdated. There was mold on the AC vent and ants crawling around the mini-bar area. The shower head was dirty and grimy and it took 10-15 minutes to get hot water. The security guards bothered everytime coming back to the property. The buffet breakfast was pretty awful. Very disappointed in this GHL property as others have been a very good experience

    Breakfast is the worst I've seen in Colombia. The taste is gone and juices are diluted with water. We were rejected access to the pool because of an unknown reason. staff is not able to speak English at all. Check-in took literally two hours. Lots of people were complaining, but no actions to resolve it were taken.

    I was really impressed by the decorations, the staff very friendly and willing to help anytime.. Rooms are super clean and comfortable. Food was amazing and the best part is the location. They own a waterpark and was really fun. It's No too far from la ciudad amurallada, 3 minutes from the airport and outside the crowd. Definitely will stay at this hotel again. We love it.

    Staff was friendly and accommodating. Location was great. View was amazing. You can tell the hotel needs minor updates. The common areas were well maintained. Security and staff regulated outside entry very well.

    Lovely hotel, located perfectly. Property is a bit older but we'll maintained. Beautiful sunsets, pool area, and food was very good. Buffet breakfast was served by employees and food was not touched by guests. Wide assortment of items. Terrific value for Cartagena

    Checking in was the best part of the stay. Staff were very nice but the hotel is old. Bedbugs or some sort of crawly insects in the bed. Rooms are spacious but need to do a better job of mopping and cleaning. The furniture is horrible.

    The TV in the room didn't work. I locked my laptop in the safe and it broke and wouldn't open and I had to wait an hour for them to open it. I was in the elevator and it started pouring rain down on me, and on the last day the wifi password they gave me wouldn't work. The hotel wasn't bad, but it's not a 4 star hotel, and you can get better for what they charge at a better location in Cartagena.
