This is a five star resort for a reason. All the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and profesional in their conduct of training. Safety is important to them and during my last two courses with them I felt safe and assured that they were looking after my welfare. The dive sights were interesting and varied and they catered for the abilities of those on the boat, often having several instructors / guides leading the various groups. My instructor for the week was Santiago, who spoke very good English as well as being a good communicator under water. I will definitely be back this year for more dives and learning - thank you all.

My partner and I booked a dive with buzos de baru about a month before our trip to Cartagena and I'm so glad that we did. We did a morning dive the first day and an evening/night dive the second day. The instructors were bilingual and very knowledgeable about the area and they ran a safe dive. The boat was very clean and there were no issues with the provided equipment. I would recommend this place for scuba diving in Cartagena!

The dives they took me on were lots of fun we did one dive during the day and saw 3 ship wrecks and also did a night dive with photos included. Everything was very professional and all were very helpful, also gave us some fruits and water while we waiting for the sun to go down

Santiago was our guide. He did everything for us and was easy to follow. Communication beforehand was quick and very easy to talk with them. We enjoyed how laid back the day was and they took care of everything for us for our equipment for both dives, all we had to do was jump in. We were worried about not wearing wetsuits and being cold but we went in January and only had long sleeve shirts that they provided us. We were not cold at all ayer temp was 28°C. We really liked both dive sites we went to. Los barcos was great bc we had never done wreck dives before and we got to swim around 3 different boats. The 2nd site was Nichol and there was more sea life there to see there and it was a large declined reef where we had great visibility looking down or up

I really enjoyed and had a great time with this company. First of all, the owner Juan made it so easy to sign up and all the paper work etc was easily accessible via internet. He and staff was also kind enough to pick me up from a boat I was on and bring me back because we had a dinghy problem. The dive masters were extremely helpful and friendly and spoke English and took very good care of us before, during and after our diving experience. The most important was the safety of each person and and they observed and paid good attention to everyone s needs. We did 2 dives at the island of Baru (which was a short distance from Cartagena from Nautica Marina ) and both were very different and interesting. First one was a lot of marine life, fish , corals etc but the second one was even more interesting with the addition of a sunken shipwreck and some cool objects covered in barnacles ( which i don’t want to give details so not to spoil the surprise) . On top of that i did not have a camera and my divemaster not only guiding us thru and paying attention to safety but also made the day unforgettable with the beautiful pictures he took of us during our dive session ( which i will share some here and THANKYOU again! You rock! 🤘🐬😘). So from my point of view I highly recommend Juan and the scuba team . Thank you guys!! I hope to visit Cartagena and find you again for some more fun diving adventures! Till then..

I had the privilege of participating on 8 dives with Buzos de Baru of which 4 were for my Wreck Diving certification. The team was wonderful in all aspects: communication, instruction and safety. I had a great experience in Colombia diving with Buzos De Baru! I did the 3 day package dives….twice! The owner, dive masters, captains, and crews were top notch and wanted you to enjoy your time. I did. They also provided excellent photographs of the dives included in the price. I highly recommend Buzos De Baru!

The course was super informative from start to finish, I was able to ask all the questions I wanted and get a guidance if I was stuck on anything. I felt very comfortable around the instructors whether in the pool or in the ocean. On the boat days we went to two different locations for the dives and snacks were provided along with water. They also take pictures of you during your dives so if you don't have a camera there's no need to worry. Overall I would highly recommend them!

Buzos was a great Dive shop! They took our PADI certification referral from another Dive shop and we were able to complete our certification. The instructors were very professional, bilingual, and very knowledgable about diving and the best areas to dive. While we’re not very experienced divers, their boat and equipment seemed in very good shape. Would highly recommend Buzos de Baru if you’re looking to learn to dive or if you’re looking for a great diving guide in Cartagena.
