I am normally not one to write reviews but these people need to be exposed. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS. YOU WILL BE ROBBED! They are scammers waiting to prey on tourists. Initially they start off very nice, bring over drinks and towels. Then finally the bill comes. We were charged 1,160,000 pesos!!!! That is equivalent to almost $350 US dollars. I have been to many many high end restaurants having full course meals and multiple drinks and have still never amounted to $350 dollars. Who in their right mind would spend that much on a beach for a matter of 2 hours?? All we had were 2 piña coladas and our 2 meals. When we complained and told them we are absolutely NOT paying this ridiculous amount, Andres changed the amount to now 800,000 which is still unacceptable. When we calculated everything, our bill should not have been anything more than $80 dollars. We told him we don’t have any more pesos and told him he would have to come back to the hotel with us if he wants his money (hotel was over 45 min drive away). He took the ride with us and after much arguing and realizing how far the drive was, he agreed to take the $80 dollars and left. These people are scammers and do this on a daily basis. Their “restaurant” deserves to be shut down. I advise everyone to PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE CON ARTISTS. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WILL ROB YOU AND CORNER YOU INTO GIVING THEM THE MONEY.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! The guy in the picture followed us for a while, pretended to try to help! Then he actually said let’s come back to my mom’s restaurant she makes the best food. Walked away for a while then decided to go back and try their stuff. We had 2 beers they charged us for 5 and extra food we didn’t order! The bill was supposed to be $20 and they charged us $300!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

They handle two menus, one ia way more expensive to get what they can from you. Don’t go to this place. Scam.

The worst place! If you happened to be in this bar, don’t pay anything and run away. They are thiefs and they will rob you. We have been invited to this place and we had 2 drinks. When we were about to pay they wanted to charge us 100 000pesos for places where we sit. I refused so they ask for 90 000 pesos for the drinks. I paid by card and it took 900 000pesos!!! We realised it after few minutes and then we contacted police. The bartenders were just laughing and the owners act like the guys that rob us don’t work for them and they were saying that they don’t even know them. We didn’t get a single apology from this family of thieves. It’s clear that they are family or friends and they work together on stealing from tourists. Playa Blanca is such a nice place and it’s a disgrace that people like them are destroying the whole experience for people. I hope that police and honest business owners in Playa Blanca would kick this scammers out of here as soon as possible.

DO NOT GO HERE! They come across really nice and humble with the young guy saying his mother owns the place. They grossly misquoted prices and even added a 220,000 gratuity. My bill was over $1,000,000 which was completely outrageous! I hope this place burns down along with the thieves. DO NOT GO!

They will just start giving you drinks and food and make you pay. The food and drinks are terrible. Please report this please to the authorities and avoid at all costs. I can't wait for this place to close down
