Got Scammed. We arrived an everything was chill enough. But when we wanted to leave they started inventing things we had to pay for. Asking 240000 for the use of the chairs, we spend 30 minutes there and ordered some drinks. We where the last once's to leave, they used this to their advantage to intimidate us. And since we had to take a boat from their beach to get back we could not pay for the drinks and leave.

We wanted to spend a quiet day on the beach. It was just impossible. We went to this place that was supposed to be "exclusive" and by this, we understood "not so crowded". That's not true. Not only the umbrellas were too close from each other but also, each group of people felt entitled to make us all listen to their music and played it on their speakers. It became some kind of battle to see who played it louder. Also, we had the transportation and our lunch included on the fee. When we arrived, the waiter asked us what time we wanted our lunch served. We said 1PM and they said that they only had availability for 1.30PM, OK. However, they only served it after 2PM, not without me going towards them and asking for it again. At 3.30, we had had enough, we wanted to get back to Cartagena. We asked what time the next boat back was leaving, they said at 4.10PM. We waited, it only left after 4.30PM, and in the middle of the journey back, the driver felt comfortable enough to make a joke and make us think the boat had run out of fuel, he stopped the boat for about 2 minutes and "made a call to a college" simulating he was asking them to bring more fuel... So not funny... To be honest, no way I would go there again...

Horrible experience, dirty water and if you’re gringo they will charge you crazy prices. I had to argue my way to a decent price and it was still more than what i would pay in america in 2023 during inflations. Be careful here dont trust what they tell you always ask for a menu and compare your menu to the locals menu to make sure its not the gringo menu. Sad to say i had this experience even as an optimist.

DO NOT COME HERE. SCAM SCAM SCAM MAJOR SCAM. THEY WILL TRAP YOU AS A SCAM. A “captain” will say that it’s 15kCOP for 2 people one way so 30kCOP for both ways. The boatman named LUIS who was a lanky thin man with blond hair will make you feel like his friend and say it’s his aunt’s place and if you buy food and drinks there, you will get a bed for free. The beds smelled like mold… They gave us 2 menus (one for foreigners and one for locals because my partner asked for it). We didn’t like the food so ordered one beer and they came back to said they didn’t have it - of course not… When we wanted to leave, they wanted to charge us 270kCOP for not buying food. We told them off and said a tour for isla rosario is 180kCOP and that this is extortion. My partner fought his way to pay what we thought was a reasonable price. When we got off the boat, they asked us to pay 2x what was promised. We yelled and said they were liars. The whole experience ruined it for us. Jesus just don’t come here. The owner messaged to say it wasn't their establishment but I definitely went here as I was at the 2nd floor and their place is the only one with 2 floors in the pathetic excuse of beach restaurant (more like a SCAM HOUSE). You guys need Jesus.

A lovely place, fair prices and excellent attention from the staff. John is a great human being and an excellent worker.

Make sure you get the price of alcohol ahead of time and do not let the men collect your beer bottles. They switched up the prices before we left hoping we would not notice and miscounted the amount we ordered trying to get a few hundred thousand pesos of out us. SCAM STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE A TOURIST.
