Paradise on earth. We had an absolutely amazing time and highly recommend it. The beach is huge and lovely. The hotel is intimate and relaxing. The service is impeccable thank you so much to Bryan for amazing service and Joser for your amazing cocktails. The place was a dream come true. The service was amazing from everyone! Thank you pantera and German and everyone! Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable the whole time. The food is amazing and the private beach is gorgeous we felt very safe and taken care of the whole time. My favourite holiday I’ve ever been on. Thank you!

This place is truly a hidden gem. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the more crowded places and are looking for some peace and quiet this is the place. Not too many activities to do, there are kayaks, volleyball and a few other activities (for purchase) but just getting away with no itinerary and not being bothered with vendors trying to sell to you all day, this is the place. I recommend bringing bottled water and snacks to last your stay, although the food here is AMAZING and portions are decent. The water is amazing too, in the early morning it is as smooth as a piece of glass and depending on the weather out in the Gulf, you can have some decent waves. They rake the beach each morning in order to provide a clean start to the day, meaning all of the seaweed that washes ashore gets picked up. Speaking of the beach, it appeared this resort had the biggest beach in the area. I honestly probably won’t come back, just because there is so much more to see and do in Colombia, but I 100% recommend if you want time away from everything and/or spend quality time with your family or alone.

we had an amazing day thanks to this place and their staff. We took only the pasadia, but in the end very regretted not stay several nights in this place. The place is magic, no other words. we had the beach almost for ourselves, we borrowed some kayaks, and diving masks for free, in order to have fun in the water. lots of corrals and fish can be observed without effort. The staff was very friendly and thoughtful. Food was delicious, we also enjoyed one cocktail and they were good! definitely not a place for every tourist (1 hour van + lancha from Cartagena). therefore very quiet and enjoyable. I can only recommend it!

Heaven on earth! Perfect if you’re looking to get away from the noise and hustle of Cartagena. There is no obtrusive music, the beach is stunning, and infinity pool is perfect for lounging in and the staff are a dream. They only have 4 rooms, but if you have a chance, spend the night here. The evening beach is lit up by beautiful lights and candles and you have the place to yourselves. Highly recommend - thank you to the team for such a perfect stay

I was really impressed, wasn’t expecting such a wonderful place. The beach is so beautiful and quiet, far away from the busy crowd. Super Delicious food. The staff is so lovely! I think it’s the best beach hotel I have stayed in my life, gonna come back !

Amazing hotel in the middle of nowhere. Our room was so fresh and spacious with all comforts (netflix too!) We loved walking directly on the beach from our bedroom. The beach was wonderful and quiet too. Perfect relaxing or romantic getaway. The breakfast was filling, but please keep in mind that the vegan options are limited. Lunch and dinner too can be eaten on the beach but again the menu was heavily fish based oobvioiously. Maybe they can add more vegetarian options soon. Please keep in mind that it is only reachable by boat so keep in mind that you will buy all your drinks there or bring enough water from Cartagena. Finally the staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend

Room are nice and the place is quiet but it is very expensive for what they offer. Not even hot water available. Service is quite poor, woman at the reception is not nice. We ordered cocktails and they never came until we asked another time 30 minutes later. Food is basic and they did a real mess with the bill. Would not recommand

Absolutely an incredible resort. The service is very attentive. It is a small boutique place ideal for a family or a couple. The private beach features white sand and warm crystal clear water. To top it all the food was simply amazing! I will definitely be back.

We went here for a day trip with friends and family and it was perfect. Clean, private beach (no aggressive vendors, no one motorcycling up to you on the beach or landing their jetskis next to you like at other locations on Baru) - staff was friendly and attentive - food was awesome - water was gorgeous - whole site felt very clean - kids had a blast, adults too - definitely recommend

We went there for a day trip tour, it was incredible. Completely empty, a huge beach just for us. The water was incredibly clear. We had lunch there and the food was good. They also had a beautiful pool. The only thing to consider is that the trip to get there is lengthy.

We spent an afternoon at Sabai and were super impressed. The owner came over immediately to greet us and was super welcoming/inviting. We drank excellent drinks all afternoon in the beautiful pool and played volleyball on their beach courts. Super great staff. Highly recommend.

We went here for a day trip from Cartagena. It was gorgeous. There were only 8 of us on the entire beach. Hammocks in the oceans, daybeds on shore and a beautiful, perfectly tempatured pool!

Went there for a beach day - and the whole experience was remarkable from the boat to arrivals (your loungers are marked, fresh juice, coffee etc.) and the waiter took our order immediately and our time for lunch (which was served right on time and delicious). Pool is great and this is one of the nicest beaches in Baru. Best for those looking for a quiet lux relaxing day.

Excellent getaway from Cartagena!! Tierra Bomba and Rosario are mostly beach clubs, rocky tiny beaches, loud raunchy electronic music, leave it to the Miami crowd and escape to this hidden gem. Comfortable boat ride, amazing beach, pool and restaurant, wish we heard about them in advance to book a night or two. Shoutout to Maria for making us so comfortable, great boat ride, would give you more starts if I could! We’ll be back.

A slice of heaven! The feeling of your own private island. The team here are so lovely and nice. The food and cocktails are delicious. The rooms are spacious, bright and super clean. They are expanding on the property - they are so courteous, I hardly noticed. Arrived by boat. The only thing I didn’t like was leaving 😎

Excellent location to relax and get away from sellers that harass. Paradisiac location with delicious food, Rubi and Jairo have an amazing set of suites they are super friendly. Aurelio, the Manager, exceeded our expectations on customer service…

They sell a bigger picture than it is. We booked a king suite. What we got was a king bed with a twin bed in the same room. There was no hot water. There was construction going on. English was sparse so hard to communicate. The view was beautiful but the beaches are not great. Can't swim, lot of sea weed and rocks. water is murky. There is not much going on that beach either. You cant go for a long walk. They had only one restaurant with limited options. We had mentioned we are vegetarians and we would be taken care of, which was definitely not the case. The staff tried but they were extremely limited. Our experience was not the best. We had a great time in Colombia except here. It was Like being stranded on an island with a few people. I wish we knew what we signed up for.

Our stay at Baru Playa Eco Beach Resort was absolutely perfect! The staff there are incredible, every single one of them goes out of their way to make sure you have whatever it is you need, they really made our stay incredible. We stayed in the King Suite and it was really nice, clean, large room with high ceilings (on the second floor), great a/c, bathroom was nice and clean, and great views. There was a hammock out front on the balcony which was perfect for relaxing (only suggestion would be to have a second hammock or comfortable chair to lounge together). The location is great. Its very quiet there, not a ton to do (kayak, snorkel tour, paddle boards (for rent)) but if you're looking to disconnect and relax its the perfect place. The wifi worked well for us while we were there. The food was good, somewhat limited menu, but everything we had was delicious (octopus, ceviche, fish of the day, burger, chicken). Only thing to know is there is not hot water for shower and breakfast is pretty limited (fruit, eggs, cereal).

Amazing private resort. Staff was very attentive and helpful to all our needs. Food cooked fresh onsite is absolutely amazing. Many activities to do. Be sure to bring what you need as there are no other stores at this location.
