The staff is really lovable, good people and I really enjoyed talking to them. They were very supportive all the time. I love the fact they love dogs and help rescuing them from street. The downside to me was the fact the air conditioning was not working properly, the bathroom was in bad condition and the windows were not properly sealed, so I heard a lot of noise coming from the street. I wish earth has more people like them :)

This little family owned hotel was exceptionally friendly, clean, right next to the beach and the complimentary breakfast would have been $15 in the USA. Amazing breakfasts! Our room price was a steal. GREAT VALUE at this place. The staff is fluent in English and Spanish which made everything that much better. See you again. I would highly recommend.

Great location, fantastic hosts, very warm and friendly atmosphere. They have a great breakfast included but also great food for dinner. Right next to the beach. Best value for the money. Thank you Brian and Esther.

we travelled for three weeks to various parts of Columbia. All the hotels had "breakfast included" Brian and staff made the best breakfast indeed, meal we had the entire 3.5 weeks. The hotel is old, but spotless. It was the only hotel that had good reading lights and multiple electrical outlets to read in bed and charge our devices. one morning we were serenaded by an accomplished violinist. Five stars for amenities and food. Beds are clean and comfortable. Best value for money our entire trip!!!!

This place is not good. The only thing good is the location. Everything else was bad. Bathroom was tiny and they use a curtain instead of glass for the shower which seemed old and disgusting. Water didn't fully go down the drain either. Walls are paper thin. AC was weak. Towels rough. Overall just bad.

I loved my stay here. Staff are absolutely amazing and Brian the owner is so kind and interesting to talk to. He's a brilliant host and his two course breakfasts are delicious. I will definitely be returning here.

I enjoy staying where the owner loves what he is doing. Me Brian is passionate about his hotel and his breakfast. The breakfast is truly amazing every day. The staff are helpful and friendly. I will stay here anytime I'm in Cartagena. I would give it six stars if possible.

Kind people, fair service, good location, regular rooms, breakfast not of my preference, just fair for the price...the hotel is located at a third floor without elevator. In the hotel was adviced a restaurant named Boca Rica (very close) and we had really bad food there, not adviced at all. There is a restaurant named Sabor Peru close to the hotel almirante, omg delicious and really good food there with the best drink ever Chicha Morada....

Nice family small hotel. Outdated, need of definite upgrade. The windows were so thing it felt like they were completely open. You could hear every noise going on outside. The A/C unit barely cooled the room and had to sleep with no sheet because room was too hot. The only thing that was great about the place was the service and the breakfast.
