Beautiful historic center located on the coast of the city of Cartagena. At night its lights and colors make it even more romantic, you can not stop enjoying its folklore and gastronomy, if you are not used to high temperatures and humidity it is good to go light clothes

Great place with tons of history and lots of potential, however they have a problem with street vendors and street entertainers, that often bother the tourists and give no brake to anyone walking or dining outdoors, these people should be educated for service, also the walled city needs to be care for because it needs lots of drainage fixings and infrastructure all over, plus the security is an issue that needs immediate attention.

Of course it's amazing, there's not much point to this review. Just be aware that the entire thing is tourism, there are no residents (essentially) it's not "real" Colombia. There's not one school. Highly recommend for about 3 days, 4 if you go on a boat to an island.

beautiful city....great place for vacation

This is a lovely area Very cheerful and vibrant. We visited the week before Christmas and there were also many performances, vendors and activities for the children. It was also within a 10 min walking distance from our hotel, so that was awesome.

Worth a visit ... so much history. Street vendors can be quite annoying. Best to try to ignore them all. If you pay attention to one, the rest will swarm. The old city in general is very charming. It would be best to go with a local guide.

Enchanting colonial atmosphere. Easy to walk. A little crowded. Street vendors and actors can be annoying at times.

The city is beautiful, the streets are breathing, the only really, extremely annoying thing os the harassment of the street vendors. I haven't seen anything like this for such a long, long time. It's far from my favorite colonial town.

Go inside the walls and fall in love with the colonial architecture. The colors of the houses, the environment, hear the music in each corners, get lost in the streets and try to don't get bewitched with the beautiful history of Cartagena De indias.

Beautiful place, everywhere you go is amazing. The city is awesome and the locals are always willing to help you. You can go during the day and night as it is super safe. There's great food, great restaurants, and you won't never get bored.
