Beautiful view and an amazing beach. Great place if you are looking for some carefree fun.

This beach is owned by Decamaron Baru resort. You will need a boat to get here, which is provided by the resort at no cost, if you are staying with them. Boat service starts at 9am and leaves every 20 mins. The boat ride itself is 3 minutes long. Lol, believe it. The last boat back is at 3pm. If you get here before lunch time, you can reserve a spot at their beach restaurant and they will ask you whether you want chicken or fish for lunch. Fish is highly recommended as it is caught out in the sea. The beach is small, but for the amount of people who venture out here versus the people who stay at the beach at the resort, there are plenty of chairs and umbrellas for everyone. Where the boat docks from the resort is hidden, but it is easy to find once you find it. Ask the resort workers about playa puntilla and they will be able to help you even if you dont speak Spanish. It happened to me.

It was a beautiful beach and great lunch reserved through Decameron Hotel but lots of vendors. They were persistent like always just trying to make a living.
