Don’t
let
the
bad
reviews
scare
you
off
—
my
boyfriend
and
I
had
a
great
stay
at
Hotel
Las
Islas!
We
opted
for
the
sea
level
bungalow
with
private
pool
and
had
the
best
time.
The
room
itself
is
spacious
and
clean
with
VERY
GOOD
air
conditioning,
a
queen
bed,
two
closets,
a
hammock,
TV,
and
a
super
nice
bathroom
(with
a
great
shower
and
a
bidet!),
and
the
outdoor
amenities
were
even
better.
The
private
pool
was
lovely
overlooking
the
ocean
but
it’s
worth
noting
that
the
pools
are
filled
with
salt
(/recycled
sea?)
water
—
if
you’re
expecting
crystal
clear
chlorine
pools
you’re
at
the
wrong
resort.
It
rained
very
hard
during
our
stay
and
we
didn’t
have
any
issues
with
leaks
or
bugs
in
our
bungalow
during
our
entire
stay.
Now
for
the
amenities.
The
isleta
was
incredible
and
so
beautiful,
with
comfy
beach
chairs
on
a
clean
and
quiet
beach,
great
pool
area,
full
bar,
and
just
a
quick
boat
ride
away.
Stay
to
catch
the
sunset,
you
won’t
be
disappointed!
We
loved
having
bikes
available
and
found
the
resort
to
be
super
walkable
(but
you
may
get
turned
around
a
few
times
—
it’s
huge!).
The
3rd
floor
bar
area
was
breezy
and
quiet,
perfect
for
reading,
playing
cards,
etc.
Def
check
out
the
telescope
if
you
have
a
clear
night.
We
also
loved
being
able
to
arrange
a
car
service
to/from
Cartagena.
The
food
is
decent
—
not
the
best
lunch/dinner
we
had
in
Colombia
but
not
bad
either,
but
the
breakfast
spread
was
where
the
hotel
shines
(plus
breakfast
was
free).
Tons
of
fresh
fruit
and
juices
were
available,
along
with
made
to
order
eggs
and
arepas,
avo
toast,
pastries,
cereal,
etc.
We
also
grabbed
ice
cream
one
day
and
it
was
a
fun
little
midday
treat.
Drinks
were
really
good
and
worth
the
price.
Definitely
order
the
frozen
tropical
lemonade.
Overall,
great
4
night
stay
at
Hotel
Las
Islas.
