I was traveling to Mexico in June and was training at a few different Brazilian Jujitsu schools. Unfortunately, I got injured during one of my training sessions. I had a pectoral muscle strain (right side) causing me to have difficulty with pushing and activities related to training. When coming to Colombia in the beginning of July, I wanted to start Fisioterapia as soon as possible because this is not an injury you want to delay treatment. I had this injury on my left pec last year and did not want to make the same mistake of waiting too long. With that being said, I first met Michelle at Corporsano in Medellin. She was great! Before leaving Medellin, she then referred me to Santiago at Kinestrong.ft in Cartagena (the power of referrals and friends). While staying in Cartagena, Santí and the team helped me recover with strengthening, stretching, and bodywork to help rehabilitate my chest muscle and shoulder for stabilization. I am very thankful for Santiago, Adriana and the team for taking care of me and giving me more exercises and stretches to do in between my travels. They really know how to take care of their patients and they’re very knowledgeable and super friendly. Although, I am not fluent in Spanish, I was able to have conversations with them no problem.
