Rooms are spacious but the paint is peeling in a lot of places. The mini fridge is rusty. I expected a bit more amenities for the price. I will not stay at the hotel again.

“Myself, my husband and our friend that we traveled with were extremely happy with the level of service. From the cool towels we were offered when we arrived to the attitude of the staff, which was "we will do anything to make your stay enjoyable." We were helped with dining choices, reservations, etc. Also the hotel is really beautiful.”

From the moment the heavy front door was opened for us, and we were seated with a cold fruit drink during registration, to the very last moment, this hotel provided a calm retreat from the busy streets of Cartagena. We were told that there were only twin beds left when we booked, so we were concerned, however we were pleasantly surprised when we saw that "twin" apparently only meant two large beds in the room! We had a gorgeous, huge room, and the bathroom had a huge shower and all the amenities. We faced the street with two beautiful doors opening to a balcony. We were concerned about street noise, and we did get some of that, but with the doors and wooden shutters closed, it was fine. The included breakfast was exceptional, with full table service serving fruits, breads and other items. It was delicious and generous. The common areas were gorgeous, and we enjoyed sitting and ordering a Mojito. There is no formal bar or restaurant at the hotel, however, the ability to order a drink and enjoy the surroundings in a quiet place was fantastic. The only complaint we had was that the hot tub on the roof was lukewarm. A gentleman came up to turn up the heat, but it never really got any hotter, and we didn't want to wait. Again, we were able to have drinks brought up to the roof, and the atmosphere, under the stars, was fantastic. The service here was discreet and effective. You always have to have someone unlock and open the huge antique wooden door when you are coming and going, but that simply made the inside an oasis. I would say this is on the pricier side of options in Cartagena, but the personal experience is great.

Excellent boutique hotel right in the heart of Cartagena. The AC in the rooms worked perfectly. You'll appreciate that after a day of exploring the city. The pool was cozy and intimate, and also very clean. The rooms are fantastic and really well appointed and huge. The beds were disappointing, as they just weren't comfortable. The staff was top notch and super helpful, though. Even with the less than ideal beds, I'd highly recommend this place.

When traveling to foreign countries I believe it's always best to stay in boutique hotels to get a better feel for the culture and this place makes you feel right at home! The staff treats you like family, the location is great, it's very secure, and we ate some of the best breakfasts we've ever had there. Special thanks to Mariano for going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction!

Beautiful city “palace” - in a quiet street - still in walking distance of the places of interest/restaurants… Super friendly and helpful staff. Great rooftop relax-area with jacuzzi. Nice swimmingpool to cool down.

AMAZING hotel in Cartagena. From the welcome refreshing drink to the delicoous breakfasts, the great staff, the lovely rooms we had a great stay here. Walking distance to everywhere, on a clean safe street and around the corner from a small market. Highly recommend

A charming little hotel. A Spanish villa converted into a hotel gives it a unique charm. Rooms are clean and breakfast is good. The service is excellent and always helpful. The staff were taking care of us like we were staying with family so much so that they would provide recommendations for restaurants, attractions and safety. The location is central to old city, wall, beach, restaurants, night life and shopping.

Simply the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Great decor, very tranquil place in a noisy area of the city and very friendly, gracious staff, all at what I thought was a fair price. BriaN

This is such a beautiful boutique hotel in Cartagena. My wife and I stayed here for a few days during our honeymoon and it was absolute perfect. Great amenities, friendly staff and lovely setting in the Walled City.

This is a great little hotel in Cartagena. It's too small to have a ton of amenities, but it has great rooms, a pool, and helpful friendly staff. Location is also convenient to a lot in the old city.

The service is amazing. Very well kept and clean. They just renovated an old house into an awesome looking hotel. Didn't miss a detail.

Small boutique hotel with only 8 rooms . Every detail is taken care of , personalized attention. Located in the historic centre close to everything but in a quiet street 2 blocks away from all the noise. My room had 12-13” high wood beam ceiling

This is a wonderful very small hotel. We were very happy with our stay there. All the rooms are "junior suites," though really they are just very large single rooms, not suites at all. (I recommend avoiding room 8, on the ground floor and facing the street.) Our only complaint was that they are very aggressive with spraying against insects and the whole place had a stench from this when we arrived, and persisting into the night. (The positive side of this was that we saw very few insects, including in the un-airconditioned, unscreened bathroom.) Service is very personal. There is a small, but lovely pool and a tiny roof deck.

From arrival to check out they made us feel special, mega VIP! They are more than a Boutique hotel, they become your fancy house in the heart of ciudad Amurallada in Cartagena with People focus in top notch customer service, their attention to detail and luxury accommodations sets them apart from other Hotels we have stayed in Colombia. The whole team is incredible, we remember Luis because he went the extra mile to take great care of us. Dario also made sure we had activities And dinners booked previous Our arrival, those things are very important to have an amazing experience so we are very thankful they made our trip one for the books.
