Great for a stopover, it's in the middle of a retail park. All rooms on ground floor and have wet rooms so great disabled access. Unfortunately restaurant not open on Sundays at present, reasonable breakfast for which you pay extra.

It had a pool.... Bonus for a motel.. How unusual Fabulous for shopping.. Rooms a nice size just wish the restaurant stayed open longer

Friendly place 1hr from Calais good food

This is a little difficult to find. It's on a retail park where there is a huge amount of parking. We went onto a road that had a No Entry sign but I don't think it was relating to the Hotel. The hotel is okay and our room had access to chairs and a table on a terrace facing the swimming pool. There are also other things for young children to do. One thing I didn't see was an outdoor shower so that one could shower before entering the pool.

Great hotel for a stop-over on the rote from France to home in the Netherlands. Their restaurant is very good!

This place is in the centre of a business park and is quite hard to find as the address doesn't register on Sat Nav . It is surrounded by large DIY warehouses and Retail outlets. However the accommodation is superior and the food to die for. It has a swimming pool but this wasn't used in November. Would have liked to explore the local retail outlets but it was a bit cold and we wanted to go to the Louvre at Lens which was a worthwhile journey only about 5 miles away

Lovely hotel. Big room. Nice bar and restaurant. Good food. Would have liked to try the pool but the weather wasn't that warm.

As soon as I walked in the staff were friendly and attentive. The room was very comfortable and clean and I had a very nice continental breakfast in the bright and airy breakfast room.

We visit more then 40 hotels a year and really enjoyed our stay here. There was a great guy called Francis that worked that night that received us ad the reception desk. We arrived during the midnight 0:00 and needed to go for a booking nearby in a club. We asked for something to eat and he showed us the restaurant. He made a 3 dinner course during the midnight for us. After our booking we arrived around 6:30 at the breakfast and everything was ready, fresh orange jus and fresh bread. We never met someone like Francis before at a hotel, he was full happiness and was so helpful. If i ever come nearby this hotel i would definitely book it! And Francis all the best with your future ! Your a great guy and many people can learn a lot from you!

Lensotel in Vendin le Visio, France has older rooms that are clean. The beds are comfy and the shower is hot with excellent pressure. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained. There is a pool, children’s play area and water fountain. At night, the hotel is extremely quiet. The restaurant is excellent. The food is tasty, good sized portions and at the right price. The staff was very friendly and efficient. There were a lot of people dining and the waiters never stopped moving. The breakfast was also delicious. Scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, breads, cheeses, etc. They even have a fresh orange juice squeezer machine. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. The true star is Frances at the reception desk. He is so warm and welcoming. His smile is contagious and his humor is infectious.

Francis at reception speaks very good English and he's a very pleasant guy. The steak dinner was amazing. Very good steak. My main issue with the hotel is the room design. On the positive side, you get very big bed and even a mini fridge. On the negative side, firstly the toilet is in a separate room to the bathroom, which means you have to exit toilet and go to bathroom to wash hands without touching the toilet door handle. Secondly there are no power points at bedside. They are located at the front of the room near the TV. So you can't really charge your phone near your bedside. Lastly, I could not work out how to turn the heating off. The controls on the wall don't seem to do anything.
