Attention!!! In one restaurant I ordered only only oysters and tea for 75 dh, but they gave me also salad, small similar soup and one grilled eggplant, without saying or asking anything. I thought they serve main dish like this. At the end I had to pay 175 dh and they wanted also a tip. All this stuff didn't cost 100 dh more!!! It's a lie!!! Always ask before eat and don't eat what you didn't order! They try to lie everywhere!!!!

Note that the merchants inside are scammers, will greet you inside, and then tell you a very cheap price, and then give you another price at the checkout, all the menu will be marked with two prices, or even two different prices of the menu. Shame on this market in this country.

This is a hidden gem of Casablanca if you are interested in sea food. Buy fresh seafood and have it prepared for you. We bought shrimp, swordfish, tuna and sardines. Sarah cooke it for us. It was delicious!! Loved it.

I have mixed feelings about this place. Loved it and hated it at the same time. But that has been all of Morocco. It’s authentic, I’ll give it that. And it’s lovely. Fish of all variety cooked fresh from the market, at affordable prices, what more can you wish for? But it’s filthy. Unfortunately for it. We had a huge crab for 120 dirhams. We thought it was very reasonable. And it was delicious. So, if you can ignore the cleanliness aspect and want to have a Moroccan experience, go for it. If not, better skip it.

Nice place overall with a lot of fresh seafood at great prices. You can either buy your fresh fish from the market in the center and have it cooked in the restaurants on the outside or go straight to the restaurants which offer a mix of different sea food themselves. The only negative thing as a tourist was that we got swarmed by over 10 people from restaurants telling us to seat to their place and following us around constantly. They don't let you take your time to think about where to eat at all.

It is not big compared any other soul / medina in other Moroccan cities. However, the goods here is far much better, with plenty of quite unique and quality things.

Don't buy anything less than $1. $1 donated. There are many scammers. Do not purchase accessories, jewelry, clothing, or other products.

Beautiful well laid out market with varieties of unique Moroccan products as well as foreign ones. Prices are negotiable. Also beware of people lurking around the market seemingly friendly and eager to help. They will give you a ridiculous bill after being "helpful". So even if you need help around the market, make sure you negotiate with them before they start taking you around.

A great experience! Fresh fish market in the center surrounded by multiple small kitchens that will cook the fish or seafood for you. A wide variety of fresh fish and shellfish.

Good market place, fresh fish all days except on Fridays. You can buy some fish from there and take it to the restaurants in the same market to prepare it for you ... If you like oysters and seafood in general this is the place to go

Interesting food market and fish restaurants. Very clean friendly people. Very different items for sale than the Medina.

Fresh fish and seafood abound! Flower vendors and a few others too. Beautifully displayed and amazing variety! Also a ring of rustic restaurants surround the fish market to satiate your hunger. Had a mixed platter featuring fried calamari that melt in your mouth. The best!!

Amazing, my favourite place in Casa. You can buy your fish and have it cooked for you following your taste and preferences.

This is the oldest market in Casablanca. All kinds of vegies, fruits, meats, fish, spices...etc. Also has small restaurants. I just ate a delicious tagine(typical moroccan earthen ware vessel) of chicken, potatoes, onions and bell peppers. It comes with a loaf of fresh bread,a side salad and a side of cooked white beans in tomatoe sauce. Price 25dhs($2.27). I also bought a cold 19oz Coca-Cola for 7dhs($0.63). Very good food and very budget friendly.

Dishonest practice by scammer business inside the market Be aware the restaurants inside this market. Scammers at work. The server showed the menu and due to our unpleasant experience of touring this city as a result of plenty of deceitful behaviors of similar business practice, I made sure he agreed the total price of food items as written in the menu before he walked away with my order. Surprisingly and not so surprisingly when I got my check, the price doubled. The restaurant server had no intention to explain why he charged more and only insisted and demand me to pay the amount as he charged . What a shameful business and such practice only add mote stains to the experience of tourists to your city. Apparently honesty is not a virtue that these dishonest individuals cherish.

Great place to buy fresh seafood and shell fish. Lots of little restaurants that will cook it for you after you buy it. Try to get someone local to negotiate the price of the seafood. They really rip the tourists off.

Watched the men pray in safety and security in the middle of the market, while families and children ate, and shopped. Masha'ALLAH. Very affordable compared with Marina shopping Mall 🇲🇦🇨🇳🇨🇲🇬🇭🇹🇬🇸🇴🇮🇱

They have Fresh seafood!! The place is lovely and there are many restaurants, you buy your fish and you take it to the restaurant to be cooked as you wish. You should go for lunch between 12 pm to 3 pm. Is lovely when it’s sunny.

Buy fresh fish here and ask one of the restaurants in the outer part of the market to cook it for you. A must try experience in Casablanca. The vendors are friendly and often you have staff from the restaurants at the market asking if you want it cooked and they serve you the meal along with bread and salad for a small sum depending on your group size and what fish you buy. Well worth it sbd the seafood is so fresh it was delicious. The red prawns are a must try, expensive but well worth it. There are many other stores in here besides the fish market.

Excellent fish and seafood dishes: buy your fresh fish and seafood and have it cooked (fried, in a sauce, or grilled on charcoal) on the spot. Very nice small family restaurants. Friendly staff (especially the women making a living for their families).

First of all people harass you even before you enter. The fish is so old and triple the price outside this market. They should let people shop around easily instead of harassing them about buying. I definitely don't recommend this place
