We stumbled upon this new restaurant while searching for restaurant in the Marina area of Casablanca. We had plans to try out a French restaurant for my birthday but upon arrival the door were closed and the lights were out. That restaurant never updated their hours on Google. We contacted numerous restaurants in the area and none seemed very much interested in hosting us. That was until we called Marassi. The hostess was kind and immediately set the tone for what was an amazing experience. Once we arrived we were immediately greeted outdoors and escorted to the restaurant. Once indoors we immediately were showered by numerous greetings from the hostesses, servers, and manager of the restaurant. We dined outdoors initially to enjoy the stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean but ultimately opted to go inside due to another guest pulling out his cigarette. In Casablanca it is a common thing for people to smoke wherever and it is even common to see this indoors sometimes. We spoke to the server and they immediately moved us to a smoke-free zone that still had a great view of the ocean. Now on to the food experience. We choose an appetizer that had baked salmon dill and cheese on top of oysters. The oysters were large in size and were very filling. They brought out pita bread and eggplant dip accompanied with diced tomatoes. While enjoying our appetizers they showcased live lobster and other highend fresh fish to us at the table. I immediately said let's do the lobster. It comes with mashed potatoes, paella rice, sauteed veggies, and we even asked for liquid butter which they were able to accommodate. The lobster was absolutely amazing and I have to say we loved the entire experience. They ended the night with a birthday song celebration where all their staff joined in on the fun. They brought us a chocolate mouse cake with ice cream and raspberry filling. This was the icing on the cake. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and will make it number one on the list of places to frequent.

The balcony in front of the seaside is very enjoyable I have had a lovely Sunday morning here Following day Monday the 13th of November 2023: Best Birthday Morning ever…… The staff was warm welcoming and made a surprise Birthday Cake with a nice Golden Candle for me to blow accompanied by a nice B-Day song playing on the speakers and all bystanders were so cheerful wishing me happy birthday even if we didn’t know each other….. I will definitely visit back when God helps me to ! I only have the best of my words to describe this place !!! Wonderful Architecture and interior with Marbles and ambient lighting!!! Amazing results. Keep up the excellent work guys….

Fabulous in every way. We didn’t expect this place to be this good with great ambience and quite classy. Perfectly executed seafood dinner. Reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of the dishes. I’m impressed well done.

It was our first night in Casablanca and directly one of the best experiences we made here. The team is super friendly, we were surrounded by locals( always a good sign) and the food was amazing. From local dishes to international dishes everything was available. The atmosphere is perfect to explore the moroccan flair. We paid around 75 euros for two persons included food and all drinks. Over all a big recommendation.

Very happy to have discovered this place. Tucked in a quiet corner of Marina Shopping Center in Casablanca, it’s right by the waterfront and easy to find. Definitely a place to consider if you’re looking to spend an evening dining somewhere that is simultaneously elegant and unpretentious. Selection is primarily seafood, and with that in mind, the menu choices are balanced and abundant. Familiar/traditional items (like fish and chips, paella, or seafood pastas) are presented with artistic flair (good-sized portions, not the tiny-morsel-on-a-square-saucer type of artistic). Ambience is low-key with relaxed lighting and pleasant background music. The space is expansive and nicely decorated with seating set up to give you a sense of privacy. Marassi’s management and waitstaff are fantastic. Their low-key but focused personal attention made the evening a seamless experience. Many thanks to Brahim and also to Azzdi for their exquisite service. As far as value (a somewhat subjective category), someone who may be more accustomed to NYC/Paris/London type of pricing and customer service will find this to be an excellent experience. I’ll certainly be looking for Marassi next time I’m in Casablanca.

👉🏻Honest Breakfast/brunch review here : The atmosphere, the live music, the decoration and the view are a 10/10 and that's clearly what you're paying for. Other than that, the pain au chocolat 🥐 (despite it's small size anyway) was stale, the chocolate toast 🍞 had poor quality chocolate and was hard to even slice, the eggs were over-cooked 🍳 and mediocre, the potatoes 🍟 had a weird oil taste and the muffin 🧁 was dry and had an egg after taste.

Excellent service, great food, well set ambience with view of the Atlantic sea and the port. Service is outstanding, Hamza was outstanding in his service. In short, a great place to chill out irrespective of the age.

Food was really good very fresh and not over done. Some of the food wasn't something I'm used to and I like to be honest and reflect that. But the food overall was really good. Even though I give 4 stars for food please don't let that dissuade you from coming. The atmosphere is next level cafe restaurant vibe. The wait staff is super nice very supportive and helpful. The attention to detail in how they serve you is why I'm so wow factor. Being a picky eater I still very much enjoyed all the food. The sea side view is a nice touch. I could go on and on. But I highly recommend coming and experiencing #moods

Amazing lunch at Moods! 😘Our server Faisel was excellent💖We were hungry..the food came quickly and was delicious. The manager also came over several times to check on us and make sure that all of our needs were being met. A very special touch which we appreciated 😘

A nice place, with good cocktails and nice desserts. I can not say anything about the food because I did not taste it, but it look delicious at others tables. I recommend the "lava cake" which is presented under other name, has salted caramel and is really good. I recommend this place also for a very nice Atlantic view.

The +: + Good music + Comfortable tables and quality utensils + Friendly staff, friendly Valet + Nice view on the Port of Casablanca + The dessert was good (Paris-Brest revisited with a Moroccan touch with Argan oil and Amlou and a sweet vanilla ice cream) + The fried calamari was heaven with the homemade tartare sauce The - : - Bad smell at the terrace coming from a nearby swamp (stall dirty lake) - No sign showing where the toilets are - The toilets should be renewed (used handles, torn out doors, etc.) - The pil pil shrimp was so spicy (the spice sign should be indicated in the menu) - The Paella was not terrible (dry rice and not well flavoured)

This was a absolutely wonderful experience! The service was fantastic and the staff went above and beyond I highly recommend this restaurant I will definitely being coming back when I come to Morocco my experience has been amazing the manager was amazing as well very attentive

This restaurant is wonderful! I have been to a few other rooftop restaurants in Casablanca and this one, by far, has the best service. Our server, Zouhair, attended to our every need and offered fantastic recommendations. He directed us toward the freshest, most in season offerings… and they were all delicious!! Of course we had the catch of the day, lobster, as well as an assortment of fried fish and paella.

My experience at Mood's Café-Restaurant today was quite interesting, although I did have a few concerns. The overall ambiance had a promising feel, yet there were certain aspects that left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. Firstly, the view from the restaurant was disappointing. Its location facing the "chantier Naval" and Casablanca port meant that rocks and sand from the depot obstructed what could have been a much nicer vista. The staff's behavior also caught my attention. The Moroccan original staff members didn't seem as friendly as I had hoped. In contrast, the sub-Saharan staff went out of their way to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. During our meal, a small issue arose when our order was incomplete. We had ordered the "Petit déjeuner 'Made in France' 85​ Dhs," which included a bottle of water, yet it was missing when our food was served. When I brought this to their attention, their response lacked genuine concern or apology; they simply mentioned they would bring it later. Additionally, there was a challenge in finding the restroom. When I inquired about its location, the staff vaguely gestured and said it's "over there." However, I couldn't help but notice that a female client received much more attentive guidance when asking about seating options. This difference in treatment felt unfair and discriminatory. On the whole, my visit to Mood's Café-Restaurant had some positive aspects, such as the diverse staff and the pleasant ambiance. Nevertheless, there were issues with the view, staff interactions, and service consistency. Moreover, the culinary experience was also subpar. For instance, the café-crème lacked the expected richness, and the omelette lacked the finesse of a French-influenced dish. Even the toast with chocolate spread fell short of the French-inspired label it carried, and the yogurt seemed like it was prepared with minimal effort. In conclusion, the food at Mood's Café-Restaurant failed to meet the expectations set by its French-inspired menu and name. It lacked the distinct flavors and finesse that one would anticipate. I am hopeful that the establishment can focus on improving their culinary offerings to genuinely reflect the essence of French cuisine and provide all clients with a more satisfying and memorable dining experience.

An ocean view café/restaurant with an amazing breakfast! One of the best omelets I have ever tried, and the seasonal fruit bowl was wonderful.

This place is elegant with an awesome vibe. I went for dinner and the food was amazing. Their pailas are absolutely incredible! This lone visit has made this one of my favorite spots within Casablanca. The atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly and make great recommendations. This place is great I highly recommend ❤

The place was nice. Well decorated. With a nearby car parking (not the main one). The food was OK (im not a lot into fish).

Probably I'll come back for some real food instead of Breakfast. Nothing we had was CRAZY impressive. Normall items you can find in any of todays moroccan coffeehouses. The portions were really small . We tried the tanger Breakfast and we added a bowl of fruits and coffee for my wife . With all Honesty everything was just Okay... Not worth the hype. Service!!! The guys are super Nice and Polite. But they Forgot our tea for about 20 minutes until i had to remind them . The Sea view is just a huge concrete facilty infront of you with Huge trucks and dust . I'll be back to try lunch or Dinner . Definitely not the Breakfast.

Pretty good food albeit touristy and expensive. It was really filling. Loved the kiwi drink! The view is nice although there seems there might be some construction or some building blocking most of the view of the ocean. Definitely nice to stop by after a visit to the mosque.

Nice and peacefull place but could have been less expansive. The view is partly on the port. Nice and well / modern equipped restaurant. We wanted to order moroccan breakfast, but for us the breakfast menu was not flexible (e.g. we couldn't replace khlii (dried meat with eggs) with something else. So we just ordered we wanted separately which made our breakfast expansive because for example the Croissant plate or morrocan bread we ordered was somehow too small.

I invited my best friend and promised him the best fish lunch experience in Morocco. Marassi did not disapoint. I am not an easy customer to please. My last best fish experience was at Redlobster Dallas,USA. Well, Marassi is from now on my favorite fish restaurant in Morocco. Amasing tasty food. Excellent service. Attention to detail. Particularly, I enjoyed the look in the face of my friend enjoying it all. Thank you much for making me and my friend enjoy a great lunch. An experience to be repeated.

Great view at Marina mall. Perfect spot for breakfast they have 4 options French Italian morrocan and English. We ordered Italian and Moroccan and both were delicious

Our experience on the first time we came here a year ago was amazing and the service was extraordinary, we got lots of beautiful memories. Unfortunately, when we came back once again after a year, we were shocked with the quality of service and food which dropped. Also, the fact that they asked us to adjust the table so we won't get the sunlight was not appropriate.. I would like to thank the cleaning lady for her kindness..

Nice venue and staff, below average food. The concept of an exclusively fish menu is great but execution in this restaurant is really bad. The quality and freshness of ingredients needs to be improved and the chef needs to be open to constructive criticism. He should be praised for creative menu ideas but customers ultimately go for taste and quality. This makes the menu really overpriced for the quality served.

Great place to relax by the pier. Located next to the mall, felt very welcome by the friendly staff(since I don't speak French nor Arabic). I've ordered a burger, good texture, but the seasoning could do better. Coffee (cappuccino) was on the spot.

One of the best breakfast services ever. Very kind and gently staff. Good food, good vibes, very cozy place with a wonderful view over the sea and the port of Casablanca. I definitely recommend to visit it at the sunrise to enjoy the fullness of the environment. The explanation of the local dishes and the tea was the perfect extra touch of the experience. 6 stars .

We absolutely loved our time there! As retreat organizers, we are always looking for quality food and excellent service. In the span of 24 hours, Mr Nassim organized everything for our group of 20. He was extremely responsive, kind and attentive to our needs. We will certainly be back and continue to bring our groups! If you’re looking for a place to come eat with friends or to organize a large dinner, look no further.

I didn’t think this place would be as good as it was based on their website, but both dishes were really good. Although we were expecting more seafood rather than French food. The salmon was perfectly cooked and had a great crust on it. The mashed potatoes were creamy and buttery. The bread was fresh baked and warm and soooo good. We got virgin cocktails that were also tasty. We chose to sat on the terrace and enjoy the sea breeze. We got to the restaurant by walking through the mall, up the escalators and follow the signs for the terrace. If you’re in the food court, go outside by the McDonalds.

Wonder service Kamal was great? He took great care of us at the cafe. The food was hot and fresh.
