Poor parking, club house and putting green. The coarse layout is good and enjoyable. With some nice feature holes. Speed of play was extremely slow.

It all depends on the time of the year that you go there, as I find that they are not as well maintained every time. My personal opinion, I find that the golf course in Algarve are a better.

They've taken the down time to really improve the course especially the greens.

Very bad experience in Quinta da Marinha today. We are 3 balls, tee off in the morning, we completed our first nine least than 2 hours. Suddenly, there were 3 groups of 4 balls in front of us, they came from nowhere. The marshall was there, but he didn't do his work. Our second nine was a disater, it took almost 3 hours, we had to wait every single shot. This is exacly how a bad marshall detroyed our game and our weekend.

I just used the driving range. 6 euros for a bucket of balls. The "pro shop" at the driving range is small and sad. Easy parking. Not crowded.

The course is not very well maintained. The bunkers don’t have sand in them, it’s mostly clay. The greens have many brown spots. There are better courses that cost the same. Not worth the cost. Also food at the club house is expensive.

Walked in after playing 13 holes.!! Far too many on the course & no marshal to speed up play : nearly five hours for 13 holes isn't very good.!!

Great staff and nice facilities

I strongly suggest that you avoid this course at all cost. If you are coming from US , this won’t even hold a candle to your muni course that’s in your home city. Where should I begin? This course hands-down is one of the worst I’ve played in a long time. We had an afternoon teetime. First of all, the practice range was far away that they had to drive us using shuttle. Once I got in the driving range, the quality of the balls available was horrible. This is a private course and we had made this reservation through a golf company. The course is real Bizzarre maybe that’s all links courses are but the directions were horrible. The course condition was terrible. There seem to be no one that was maintaining the Course. We had a starter flag us off. No one was supervising in the course and that will groups that were playing 8 at a time. It took forever for us to play off tee box. We eventually decided to give up after close to five hours of play. We ended up playing just 14 holes. The one star that I’m giving is because there were two holes that look like it had some ocean view.

Do not bother playing this course. Terrible condition, dangerous and confusing layout, quite honestly we have never played such an atrocious course. Our playing partners from Dublin were so very disappointed too as we had all paid extra to play here. Give this a total swerve!
