Wow! Big recommendation! The food is super tasty and extremely well seasoned! It's unlike the food I eat on a regular basis and the owner told us that the dishes always vary a little bit each week. They had about 8 or 10 main dishes to choose from and vegetarian as well as meaty option. Everybody should be able to find something here and it's still not overwhelming. I feel like I could've tried everything there! It all looked delicious. The service and the owner were very nice and attentive. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also nice and quite. It's a good place to eat and enjoy your company and have some nice conversations. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant and would always come again!

I am so fortunate that I stumbled over this place by coincidence when walking the streets. The cuisine is amazing! I really like that you order with a tablet and pictures for each dish including the ingredients. This provides very transparent expectations. The food itself comes really as demonstrated in the pics! I really loved the choice I made. Super delicious and aromatic. Next time I will also get some starters to taste. And the food is really good quality - you can taste that! Also the lemonade was fantastic - different and in my opinion even better than the standard lemonade, as they also add ginger, honey, lemon, mint and rose water to it. Fancy, eh?! The interior is appealing with the mix of leafy vibes and traditional Syrian decoration and the light background music. Staff was also super friendly. An absolute recommendation - also a very nice place for a romantic time for two!

Great place to taste syrian food. Service is very good and the food matches. They have rotating menus so you can try different things all the time. Size of the dish is roughly enough for 1.5 people, so I recommend sharing dishes because it can easily reach 30€/person if you don't do it.

First time that I tried syrian food. All the tastes were new, but amazing. Recommending everyone who wants to cherish and relive different, yet very delicious cuisines. Great wine selection too

I love how this restaurant combines healthy yet delicious food and on top of that lets you discover syrian culture. Right from the beginning they informed us about the size of the portions which are indeed quite big. So it can be a good idea to share one main dish between two people. However, if you go for a vegetarian option, judging from what we got, keep in mind that it may be quite light despite being big in size. Prices are definitely above the average, because it's more than 10€ per portion. Considering the atmosphere inside the restaurant, friendly staff and quality of dishes it is definitely worth visiting it. The downsides were a time spent waiting for the order, it was almost 30min for us, and the bathroom, which doesn't even look like it belongs to this elegant place.

Delicious Sirius food with a explosion of flavours. Really well served portions so for 3 person you can order 2 main dishes and 3 starters. Order a Damascus juice with almonds that balances well with all food. Really recommend it.

The best food I’ve had while visiting Lisbon. Amazing and friendly staff, warm interior, food was delicious. Knafeh is the best I’ve had outside of Nablus.

Food is just incredible! I usually go with a group of friends and we order different things to try between us all!! The entrances are my favorite part, just amazing 🤩 and the vegetarian options are so good, I would even say that they are better than the other options (even though everything is to die for). Great restaurant discovery of this year!!

We had a few hours to kill before flying back home so we decided to have lunch at Tayybeh and it was worth the trip! The restaurant is located just two stops from the Aeroporto de Lisboa and the interior is sleek and beautiful, the owner and his wife decorated the premise themselves including the murals on the wall. One of the murals is their family home in Damascus which is where the restaurant interior drew its inspiration from. The owner greeted us upon our arrival and we felt instantly welcomed. Ordering the food & drink was super easy, all done through the iPad, and each dish includes a detailed description of the ingredients and a dietary info. For starter we had eggplant mutabal and it was creamy with good amount of olive oil. I could taste the delicious Smokey eggplant in every bite. For our mains we ordered the Harrack Esbao, a flavoursome vegan dish with crunchy fried onions and bread, juicy pomegranate seeds with a bed of soft pasta ribbons and green lentils. We also ordered the Fattet Jaj which was the star of the show-WOW! The shredded chicken breast, the yellow basmati rice which had a hint of cinnamon, topped with creamy tahini cream, crunchy toasted almonds and sweet pomegranate seeds - was a delightful flavour explosion! The waiter was attentive and friendly, she was always looking out for us to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, we had a fantastic and memorable experience at Tayybeh and we look forward to visiting this wonderful restaurant when we visit Lisbon again. I am also looking forward to trying out the recipes Tayybeh will be uploading in their Instagram account!

I am a huge fan of this Syrian restaurant. The food is homemade and amazing. The ingredients are great and they have great vegan and vegetarian options. They also have meet options. One main course serves two people. They now sell bio vegetables from their farm - Quinta do Damasco. You need to order online and pick up there. It really worths the visit. A must go when at lisbon.

Having grown up in the Middle East, the food here is a delight for the senses and has brought me back to my childhood. The portions are big, the staff is super friendly, and the ambience takes you to Damascus with the smells and the sounds of sitting in a shady courtyard, away from the heat, in the ancient cradle of civilization. The menu changes every week and all the flavours are expressed in subtle ways for your pleasure. I would come back to Lisbon just to eat here. Overall a magical experience.

Thanks for a lovely meal. The falafel, the hummus, the main course meals — all were delicious. My sister mentioned my birthday as we were leaving and the owner suddenly appeared with a lovely gift. Totally unexpected but very much appreciated.

Overpriced and blend food. I had Fatet makdous and my friend had lamb. The fatet had no taste and it was too watery and the lamb was tasteless as well. I even had a stomach ache that nigh since the food was greasy as well. I had real Syrian food many times and it tasted nothing like it. I gave it 2 stars since the portions were decent size and the staff was friendly.

Awesome experience. The staff is super friendly and the food is so tasteful! We accepted the recommendation of choosing one starter and one main dish, both to share, and it was more than enough. The desert was one of the bests I've ever had (no idea about the name, sorry)

Very tasty cuisine, excellent service. The best way to get acquainted with Syrian cuisine is to visit this restaurant. The owners are wonderful people who cook and serve visitors themselves. My recommendations!

I had the most incredible dining experience at the Syrian restaurant in Lisbon! From the moment I stepped in, I was transported to the heart of Syria. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with beautiful Middle Eastern decor that set the perfect tone for the evening. Now, let's talk about the food - it was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. Each dish was bursting with authentic Syrian flavors that I haven't tasted anywhere else. The falafel was crispy on the outside and incredibly tender on the inside, and the hummus was velvety smooth and packed with that perfect balance of tahini and lemon. The highlight of the meal was the lamb shawarma. It was tender, juicy, and marinated to perfection. Paired with fresh pita bread and an array of mouthwatering sauces, it was a taste sensation that I won't soon forget. What truly elevated this dining experience was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure that every aspect of our meal was exceptional. They took the time to explain each dish and its cultural significance, making the experience not just a meal but a cultural journey.
