My first time trying this restaurant. Quite decent overall but i still prefer other restaurant for pho. Theirs pretty standard but very huge serving. I also ordered mixed spring roll. Its quite nice. The rest are ok. We had coconut juice. Still a good place to go to if you just want a quick vietnamese bite

What a dinner! Incredible 👍 we want to try all the menu, not all restaurants provoke such feeling. Very good Pho!! Authentic or not? Not my place to say, but the food was awesome!

We tried their Raw Beef Pho Short Rib (Pho Tai Suon Bo), Broken Rice w/ Grilled Pork (Com Tam Suon Dac Biet), and Rice Pepper Rolls w/ pork & prawn. The Pho was fantastic. Their broth is so good. Not too sweet but meaty. The short rib also massive. One of the best pho in Perth. The grilled pork is sweet but not too much. The taste is very delightful. The size is quite big. And the price is reasonable. They also have option for vegan Pho.

It was our first time trying out Pho Thanh Dat after highly recommended by our friends to try their famous beef short rib pho. Unfortunately we were told it was already sold out when ordering on Saturday night, which is a good sign that it must have been good. It was a relatively busy night, but the service was friendly and they try to accommodate us with two kids by giving us a small table along a booth. We ended up trying their other three dishes : spicy pho, beef combo pho and broken rice with bbq rib. My kids enjoyed both the broken rice and the beef pho while my wife mentioned she prefers the spicer version with pork trotter from another nearby restaurant. Overall we still enjoyed the dinner even without the beef rib pho so we will be back to try the famous pho soon & review again! Wish us luck it won’t be sold out again.

One of the best Pho you can get in Perth. They even offer special items like the beef short rib pho for the meat lover and the Pandan iced vietnamese coffee. Large menu for all tastes. Highly recommended 👌

The pho was delicious, and the portion was so generous that I believe it could easily be shared by two people. The taste was authentic, and the staff was friendly.

Pho Thant Dat in Northbridge, Perth offers a delightful Vietnamese dining experience. The stuffed chicken wings are delicious but the portion is a bit small. The flavourful beef pho and chicken pho are value for money and tasteful. The sugar cane and coconut drinks are refreshing additions to the meals. Despite the impressive menu, be prepared for a considerable wait on Saturday nights for dinner.

Edited review: 11/08/2022 Went for Pho on a cold wet winter’s day & boy did it hit the spot. Restaurant was full but we managed to get a seat straightaway. This time I wanted to try the Oxtail pho but it was not available. So opted for the short ribs which was absolutely divine. My friend who is a lover of Pho was very satisfied with her Pho Tai. Service was friendly & swift & food consistently yummy! Keep it up 😀 Finally got around to try out Thanh Dat, we went around 2pm & they sold out of Beef Short Ribs. Shame but have to go back another time at a much earlier time slot to make sure we don’t miss out. Service was quite friendly & didn’t take too long for our food to arrive. They did forget about my ice coffee which I reminded them and it came out couple of minutes later. Broth of the pho was very nice & tasted very nice. No msg was added as we weren’t thirsty after our meal. Pork was absolutely divine in the other dry noodle dish. Overall, a very pleasant experience..

What an unbelievable place. Best and biggest pho I have ever had and the prices are just fantastic!! The vermicelli noodle salad was also really tasty with plenty of flavour. Great value and quality. The young woman who served us was kind and approachable! Glad we found this gem.

Special pho “The lot” and steak pho were both surprised me! Taste so good! Although both $35! But really worth to try and highly recommend.

So far this is one of the most authentic pho in this area that I have tried. The broth is nice and savory, cuz I found many Vietnamese shop in this area are tend to be too sweet. The beef ball looks like handmade, very chewy and full of beef flavor. But one thing is that they gave so little beef slice, I think just around 5pcs. Personally think it is a bit too little for a bowl of noodle. But overall, I will recommend this place to ppl who are looking for a authentic pho!

WE ate Entree 10. and P1., U can see dishes through photoes. I came there about 1pm. and waited for 15~20 minutes. I will visit later again and eat other menues.

Love their authentic pho, best is you can get the beef ribs and bone marrow too. Everything looks so good, love that they give cold water to go with our meals too. A family run biz, very nice and warm welcome.

This is a fantastic place for great Vietnamese food. Their Beef Short Rib Pho and Wagyu Beef are sooo good! Can't go wrong ordering them but be sure to call in advance to reserve the ribs and make seat reservation especially during weekends. Their Rice Vermicelli Grilled Pork & Spring Rolls is another must to order.

Had the spicy beef and it was good. Good price as well. If you want to spend a little more you can get wagyu beef in the dishes.

I’m very impressed with beef short rib noodle soup. It is very nice and tasty (no msg). High recommend it and you also should try short rib beef with rice vermicelli in spicy soup (so yummy). The service is very good, staffs are friendly. Definitely we will come back again 🌺🌺

Best Vietnamese food in perth CBD! Usually get the signature beef short rib pho, but tonight they were sold out so went with the raw beef and tripe pho, and pork chop with broken rice. Love the pho here; the soup tastes great and is cleaner than all the others. The pork chop was also very tasty and overall reasonable prices. Will keep coming back for sure

This was a great experience of Vietnamese culture. My Vietnamese girlfriend loved the food here and believes that they provide high quality food. The food tasted very flavourful and was well presented, especially the drinks. I had a Pandan Coffee Iced, and I think it is the best coffee I’ve experienced. The shop is so friendly and drawing with the adorable neon lucky cat. The interior decor follows next with a great modern but refreshing design. Table distribution is spacious enough and there is a good selection of condiments and items on the table. The service was good too. Awesome shop!
