Psych! Cannot believe I am giving 5 star review to a cafe at a dang zoo! But I am! Loved the easy-to-read and understand menu posted in TWO places, one up above where you can stand from a lil distance and read it and another at the counter where they take your order, in case you need to do the "point and grunt" ordering method, but hey. It is convenient. Ordered kaya toast, fried purple sweet potato balls and the Inuka Cooler non alcoholic beverage. Easy system where they hand you a buzzer after you order and pay. Just return to collection window for foods. Go to cold beverages counter for those. Sit down. Enjoy. A cleaner is nearby to freshen tables, but be sure to return your tray to the shelves at the back side of the sheltered food court. Loved, loved! The Inuka Cooler. Inuka the bear would be proud. Very refreshing and looked just like the menu picture. Sweet potato balls q3ere battered and fresh fried, tasting bland-ish but so crunchy good. And beautiful. Can I get a dress made in that color? Please? Anyway, from service with a smile to great snack food to easy access, I loved this place. Bonus! You do not even need to pay admission to the zoo to dine here. It is outside the gates! Awesome!

They had veg food and some mock tails which was good enough for us. They charge a dollar for napkins :0

Thursday, 8 June about 6pm. Served by a nice guy but due to miscommunication my food n drinks were not in takeaway cups/bag. Chinese lady rudely put my drink n food on e tray, I told her I asked for takeaway. Pretends to ignore me while still putting my items on e tray. So I told her again. She: TAKEAWAY?? $2 HOR for the cup! Me: $2? Why didn’t u tell me earlier? She: BECAUSE YOU NEVER ASK FOR TAKEAWAY! Me: Were u there when I asked for takeaway? She: no Me: then why did u say I didn’t ask for takeaway when u r not there She: *rolls her eyes* at me and mumbles under her breath I went to e cashier n the guy apologises to me, I told him it’s not his fault while the woman unhappily put my food n drinks in takeaway bag. From the reviews it’s obvious I’m not e first person complaining about the same woman. Management pls do something about this staff of yours, such a bad image to tourist as she’s always in such a bad mood and has such a foul attitude.

Walked into the crowded Inuka Cafe due to a sudden downpour during a cycling trip, discovered a small unassuming cafe with a famous endearing name 🐻‍❄️. The prices here are frankly on the high side, but you can’t really complain since it’s supposed to be serving the tourism attraction. They serve singaporean beverages with basic selection of bottle beers. Tried their fruity nutty rojak, it’s surprisingly nicer than we expected, but the gravy was way too thick and sweet, deviating from the typical rojak that we grew up with. Worth a try if you have cravings for it.

Expensive zoo prices, and average food quality. Would seriously suggest sturdier paper straws— it’s virtually useless for the slushies that they sell, and by the time you’re half done with the drink, the straw is practically disintegrated. Fruit Rojak is not bad though. Worth a try!

My all time favourite drink, the Inuka Cooler! Will always order this refreshing quencher whenever I'm here. The fruit rojak has lost it's old flavour though, used to be quite good.

Peacocks can be seen roaming freely in the area. Aside from cool drinks and desserts, they serve local bites like toast and rojak

Was craving for cold dessert after a hot walk at the River Safari and decided on their durian chendol, seeing that it's recommended. Let's just say only the durian puree passed. Gula melaka and coconut milk needs to be better. And the drinking water pack was really dusty.

Food were so so. Ambience was quit chaotic as need to look for tables on ur own. If ha e the q system should be much better.

Can't complain. The food is not bad but a little expensive. Well, it's in the zoo so I guess it comes with the "location premium".

Now only serve local toast and drinks, no more deserts, slightly more expensive since it’s a tourist spot. Place is spacious, but the environment is noisy.

There was one Chinese lady who attended to our order and prepared the bill. She was super rude and literally chucked the plates we requested for. Mind me, this was on a weekday, where there were lesser crowd and yet she was so moody. Wonder how her mood will be during peak season. Mandai Wildlife Reserve, please do not hire employees who work according to their moods. We pay for our meals and not for their moods, so kindly educate your employees to treat customers more respectfully. Totally unacceptable. The ambience is nice but less airy though there are fans but it is still uncomfortable.

Not cheap but it’s somehow what’s usually you will get when you visit tourist place. I will have my lunch before visit, but if out of thirst can buy a quick drink since this is what a price that you would be expecting when buying from a tourist place. Overall is food and drink acceptable.

Nice cafe just outside zoo entrance that opens at 8.00am for a Traditional Breadfast b4 a day at zoo.

Quite surprised that zoo can serve up a decent and delicious nasi lemak. Although it is pricier than what you get outside, it was indeed a premium nasi lemak. Cooling environment albeit quite noisy.

Kaya toast set was good, worth the price ($5). Rojak had good amount of fruits, but the prawn paste did not taste authentic.

Ordered their Signature Chempedak Chendol. The presentation was messy, with Chempedak purée messily thrown all over the bowl. Worse was the purée tasted ‘weird’ - not fresh and I highly suspect that it has turned stale. My Husband also said it tasted weird. After a few scoop underneath, I gave up - total disaster and a shame to this supposedly delicious local dessert. Try it at your own risk!

Little toast set was a little pricey but when you are at one of these touristy places you should just expect to pay. Food was decent. I can't say that it was good but it was ok. Please take not that for cold drinks they do not serve straws. Eco friendly stuff. Iced milo could have been thicker. Staff were polite which is great. Food didn't take too long to come either.
