Great place. Knowledge of a famous family who embeded their name in Canadian history and art. Pioneers since 1920. Originally from France. Church decorations.

This place was really a beautiful visit. We stopped by because of a tour package we bought that included montmercy falls and the basilica. A cute little shop, there's a lot of history here. They have a lot of copper as said in their museum and the shopkeepers are so nice. I bought a necklace from here but wanted to adjust it so it looked like a choker so they happily adjusted it for me which was wonderful. I think if you would do the package tour! Definitely a cool stop to go to!

This place is very interesting! The presentation about the family history, the work they do, the art behind the beautiful pieces they do. It was a beautiful museum too. We learned that they did the beautiful doors in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré. I would love to be back with more time to enjoy this place! Definitely a place to visit when in Quebec City.

This place has a very rich history. Amazing copper work. A little pricy but it’s expected as they’re the only ones still carrying a legacy. We bought some stuff from their place which we will cherish for life.

Was a stop on a cruise excursion and so glad it was-an absolutely amazing place. The Life of Christ display is miraculous. Loved hearing about the history and we are sure that the founder is shining down on his wife and daughters for continuing his legacy. Love the wheat piece that we purchased-it is hanging in our living room. We’ll be back!

What an amazing little museum and an awesome boutique, where I bought a beautiful copper owl bookmark and a beautiful copper wolf for my spouse’s birthday. Personally, I enjoyed all of the copper art on display while my students enjoyed making designs on copper sheets after having. Great job!

This place had me in awe of how talented some People can be and the beauty that comes with working the gift we have in us. Shout-Out to the children and grandchildren for keeping the business and tradition alive. There’s a perfect account of the “Life Of Jesus Christ” carved out by copper. Insanely beautiful!

Great place for art lovers to explore. There are so many masterpieces created by a loving family who hold a history of making great artifacts that anyone would treasure. There are so many stories to hear about the history of how it all started.

This seems to mainly be a place that tour groups come. I thought it was gonna be one of those tacky tourist trap places, but it was actually really interesting. In addition to the shop/showcase there is a free museum devoted to copper art from around the world. They don't pressure you to buy anything and it was really interesting hearing the story of the guy who started the place. What's cool is this is still a working shop run by his daughters. This place truly is one of a kind. I only know of one other copper art museum in Arizona, so there may very well only be two in the entire world. Definitely recommend for lovers of religious art or just art, or for people just looking to meet some real Quebecers and experience some true local culture.

Not really into art but this was a fascinating visit. Learning about how copper is sculpted was incredible but the religious museum of Gilles' 50 pieces of art displaying various aspects of Jesus from the gospel highlighted the skill of the man. Amazing that no one has published it as a coffee table book. Then visited the church to see more of his work

Pretty fascinating copper artistry! One of the few places around doing this sort of work. Almost all of their stuff is handmade, so really appreciate the craftsmanship. Prices at the shop are cheaper than other tourist locations.

On our 1/2 day bus tour we stopped at the Copper Museum. A family run (all women) copper museum and boutique. We learned about the history of the family business, we had a demonstration and we went to the Basilica of Sainte Anne-de-Beaupre where the copper doors are on full display and they are absolutely stunning. A wonderful stop and an interesting experience! I bought a ring as a keep sake. Thank you!

Visited this boutique/museum while on a group tour. Wide variety of copper art pieces, from jewelry to all kinds of home decor. I purchased a round mirror framed in engraved copper and had it shipped home. Can’t wait for its arrival!!

A family-owned business with an extremely beautiful museum including pieces of art gathered from all over the world. Amazingly kind artists showed us a live demonstration of the process on a piece of thin copper. Highly recommended to visit and buy copper handcrafts!

I did this as a recommendation from my girlfriend and it was a complete blast! The art work is incredible inside the museum and the copper work demonstration is very very fun! The workers there are wonderful and it’s an incredible experience (plus, you can make your own copper piece and it’s very very fun — even if you’re not artsy)

Very interesting and fun place to take a look at. There is a small exhibition room which tells the story of Christ (I'm not a religious person so I didn't really understand the story), made by the founder of the business. There is a small workshop that let you to give copper art a try. It's very fun and interactive, and you are allowed to take it away with you as a souvenir. As for the collection, there are variety of items and antiques to purchase. Do check it out on the

Family run copper museum which showcases copper artwork. There's a small workshop where you are given a piece of copper sheet and you can create an art piece yourself after a live demonstration. Not all sections of the museum are open for photography. Time to tour the place and attending workshop together take a maximum time of an hour.

It's a beautiful place with some wonderful copper art. It is named after the coppersmith Albert Gilles, and is run by the Gilles Family, his wife, daughters and granddaughter. For a fee, the place offers a small demonstration of 15-20 mins where you can learn the art of "Repousse" or embossing. You can implement your skills on a small 3-inch square of copper sheet, and take it back with you. There is a boutique, where some items are on display for sale. The museum is also beautiful, with the story of the life of Christ in silver panels. It's forbidden to take pictures, but the memory if this beautiful place will stay with me for a long time. I've posted the photo of my creation, though.
