Nice place, staff are pleasant (but may get your order wrong). Warning that you'll get put inside if you don't have a reservation, but it's nice in there! Food is pretty standard (bland) French fare (butter, cheese, bread etc). Still, worth a visit!

Interesting to get an overview of this lovely area, which is better seen by bike than car. Lots of information and a good audio visual show too. Local produce can be bought and there's a restaurant/bar if you need one.

Always a worthwhile visit while in the Brenne. Busy during the summer holiday season so make sure to book a table. Tasty food made from local produce. Very generous portions. And last not least: though clearly not a professional, we had the best waitress of all our stay in France. She defied the wasps and served us quickly and efficiently with a true smile. Make sure to do the small circuit walk starting from the restaurant

Beautiful setting. Plenty of parking space. Picnic area with tables both outdoor and under cover. Lovely shop with big selection of local products and gift items. Information available on things to do and see in locality.

Delicious crispy beer batter on the carp perfectly accompanied by the local beer and organic cider. We would suggest the option of a half portion (or share woth friends as a starter) because we were each unable to finish the portions and so had to pass on what looked like delicious desserts.. Only

Great restaurant/café which serves food throughout the day. The shop is stocked with local Berry /Brenne (regional) produce as well as a wide variety of books about the region and national park. Above the shop is an arts space which a regular exhibition. Finally there are great walks and a Château - which is newly opened to the public, right on the Maison du Parc's door step. This place is a must see while in the Brenne!
