Us Africans need to do better. Simply having a store and doing the bare minimum of having products without good customer service is not acceptable. We aren't in Africa anymore, we know better, we should therefore do better. This review comes from a good place. Google needs a zero star feature.

No doubt the best place in Ottawa to get all your hard to find ingredients and supplies. Large supply of products and the staff is kind and super friendly. Kofi stayed open past closing until I arrived in order to pick up some items. If you need some thing that they do not have you can asked to order it. Very accommodating and always pleasant. Thanks guys!

Good selection of products but the fridge is filthy. Shop is too packed, not really clean & unfortunately their young lady behind the counter should have a better attitude towards customers.

Friendly service. The ladies are always so professional and they engage the customers. Great place to find Nigerian/African groceries. The prices are fair too.

The right place to go if you are missing nigerian and Ghanaian food and items. You will most likely find it there

Good grocery stores for Africans in Ottawa and environs, nice shop attendants and reasonable prices! Only draw back is the compact nature of the store, it too tight. However, it's a good place for your African groceries.

Very bad customer service. Stop being so dismissive and do better. I wanted to support a black business but given the nasty and unfriendly attitude of the lady at the cash (the owner maybe), I won't come back. It's just unacceptable.

The behind the counter was very helpful. What a treat to find this place and purchase what we needed to make an authentic African meal. This was our first visit.

For those of us who can't do without real home-cooked food in African and Carribean pots, the African Queen is a place to find what we need for the sumptuous dishes that feel our homes with the aroma of life. They also sell African fabric, and grooming accessories that make ladies of African descent look gorgeous. The free car park and the numerous shops nearby means one could accomplish a great deal of the shopping goals in literally the same location.

Mainly afro carribean stuff and hair products. If can't find something on the shelves, ask and they're likely to dig it out for you

Great products and cultural food supply. So glad I can find the Black hair care I need during the pandemic. The staff were helpful in answering any questions I had.

The real value of this place to the Hunt Club/Southend community is most important. Hope it stays that way for years to come.

I love to buy their hair products and hard dough bread. The family that owns the business are also very friendly and welcoming. I've been shopping there for years.

👍👍 Not sure what it is about the "Junkie" establishments but man, they are good people. I've used both Hair and Spa Junkie once each and was treated so well! At Spa, I got my eyebrows waxed and tinted. Of course, they did it perfectly. Not just that, but they're so sweet and go out of their way to be h...

😠 I had not very pleasant experience with this salon this time. My stylist didn’t give me cut I asked her to give me, I asked for lots of layers which should give me volume and she keeps on saying that volume you will only get with the products. I agreed to chop big chunk of my hair to have layers but...
