The car itself was late model but clean and in reasonably good condition with no mechanical issues - very good value for the price. The check in process was difficult because it was raining out so there was not a proper vehicle inspection. Hummingbird said they had taken pictures and noted the fuel level (1/4 tank) in advance, but did not share pictures or a vehicle report with me - they should share these pictures and comments in the temporary WhatsApp group chat they set up for each rental so everyone is on the same page regarding existing damage. Dropping off the vehicle at the end of my rental, the agent did not arrive until 7:30 pm for a 4:30 pm scheduled drop off so they asked me to leave the keys in the car in the public parking at the airport so I could make my flight. Both pick up and drop off ended up not being an issue because I did not cause additional damage and was not charged for any but the lack of inspection for both pick up and drop off leaves both parties open to potential disagreement. I would rent again with HummingBird in the future but would definitely recommend the suggested updates to the process described above.

I have never left a negative review in my life, but dear me, I think that you can expect some sort of standard when you go to work in corporate world. Unfortunately, the standard at this company was very poor and callous. Where do I start? Having booked one of the fleet from the reserve menu, only to find out, many days later that the car is no longer available. Why was it reserved then in the first place? Its like you spend more time on group-chats than the actual work. Why wasn't this updated so I could know what to do from before. I had everything all planned out and now last minute, I have to be alternating. Overall my experience was ABSOLUTELY disgusting. -A disgruntled customer.

I moved to Jamaica last year late October, I wanted to rent a car for the long-term. I shopped around and HummingBird was the cheapest option. I rented with them for about 11 months and they were always very helpful and accommodating. Mikhail Lewis was my liaison person and he is very personable and attentive to any issues I had. HummingBird and Mikhail made my first year living in Jamaica very easy and I would recommend them to anyone needing a vehicle to rent, be it for the short-term or the long-term.

First, the car was a joy to drive and served my purpose very well. Second, I liked the fact that a dedicated WhatsApp link was established for my rental. Third, communication was open and professional, yet friendly. Fourth, I appreciated the responsiveness to all of my inquiries. And last, but definitely not least, the car was delivered to me at my sister's house where I was staying. This is superior and value-added service! I asked if BMW 5 series comes with unlimited mileage. Customer service person replies back I can't disclose that. Why would I rent a car from you without knowing.

I am ok with most of your services but it would be better if the area which you delivered the car was a bit more private. Although your agent who delivered the car was very polite and on time it would be better if we were not rushing to move away before the police moved us.

Great car rental for longer rental. We wanted to rent a car for 2 months and Hummingbird offered much better value than any other car rental company I could find in Jamaica. Really good customer service and I love the way pick-up and drop-off is managed through WhatsApp. The driver was a little late for arrival, but spot on time for departure. So much more efficient than the big rental companies at Mobay Airport, who keep you hanging around for hours even when pre-booked. The car was not the newest model, but powerful and plenty of room for luggage. Will definitely use Hummingbird again. Thank you
