Excellent!!! I recommend 100 % it. Elizabeth began to develop rapidly after 1902, when a trolley line was completed, and was annexed in 1907. Home of Independence Park, the first public park in the city, Elizabeth became one of the most fashionable residential areas in Charlotte in its early days. In 2006 Elizabeth had a population of 3,908.

Easy to get to and find parking! What a quaint little park. I liked the placards describing the different sculptures, too!

Super pretty park with cool, shady seating. The fountain was fun to watch. Also, we were pleasantly surprised that the drinking fountain was on and working!

One of the great Parks along side the Little Sugar Creek Greenway. The park features a small splash pad and bench swings. Parking is available on the other side of the park as well.

It was so much more than I thought. Great for everyone. Dog walkers, bike riding, romantic walks, But the walkway underground should not be explored alone. However, I felt very safe here. I saw no police or security presence.

A nice relaxed park with a scenic walking trail. Enjoy time with family and friends near the city and even closer to nature.

Very nice wedding chapel near uptown. We were married here 30+ years ago. Also has the Mecklenburg county Vietnam war memorial and connects to the Little Sugarcreek Greenway.

Nice escape in the middle of uptown Charlotte... also considered the backyard of Central Piedmont Community College. You gotta love it ❤️! If you need an nature walk or a trail to retail therapy after class... follow your girl's foot steps 🚶‍♀️ ✨️

A pretty little park right in Uptown perfect for walking and biking. I appreciate that the paths are wide enough for bikes to pass. I would have appreciated a few dog stations with bags and garbage cans.

Elizabeth Park is a nice park for a run or walk. I go with a group called MadMiles that promotes a healthy atmosphere of people trying to be healthy and active. Great running group and great area
