Generally, I like the food here. They did recently just change the menu a bit which was annoying but not the reason for a two star review. I consistently order a salad off their menu with no adjustments except to add chicken. Constantly, I am being given a salad without the ingredients. I am paying for an expensive salad and it's not accurate. I am constantly missing 1 or more items and some times I am getting a salad with items intended for the salad! It is frustrating that only a handful of times I have gotten the same thing but after my salad today I am done. The attention to detail is non existent. If you choose to eat here stand there to watch them make your salad or bowl to ensure it is accurate.

Paid 11$ for a pangoa bowl with tofu. They always skimp on the toppings / ingredients but today was ridiculous. There was 90% rice with a few toppings but then they forgot to add black beans. Their response is complain to corporate we only provide the amount they tell us to provide. I have actually experienced this at other locations as well. They overcharge for what the provide. If I want some brown rice I don't have to pay 11$ for it. I'd advise not to go here, complete ripoff.

I tried the Kale salad with the crispy chickpeas, hemp seeds & quinoa. The salad is good but I expected more than 2 tablespoons of dressing (they sprinkle it over the salad as they prepare it), a table spoon of thinly sliced parmesan and a lime wedge the size of a mandarin orange slice, especiallyfor $9.00 plus tax. Plus 50 cents for extra dressing. For me, Kale is hard to eat especially when it's so dry like that. Also everytime I go there, they only have one person doing the salad add on's but they've got like 8 people working behind the counter. I waited about 6 minutes for my salad to be made. As a customer I suggest to have 2 people on that effort and provide more dressing than just that sprinkle. The people who work there are always pleasant and nice and they are working really hard to service customers. But they only do what they are instructed to do. I do understand this.

Great food, but the small portion sizes aren't even close to enough food for a grown man's lunch. I shouldn't have to scrupulously search through my teriyaki bowl to find the 3 pieces of chicken that I was charged extra for. I used to go to Freshiis all the time when I lived in Boston, but the appetizer sized portions at the Uptown location will have me looking somewhere else the next time.

I eat salad almost every day in Uptown.. I’m used to paying $11 for a salad, but portion size is a real issue here .. it’s more like a side salad. At some point, they clearly went through a process scale back and reduce everything they serve.

Tried the green smoothie and it was the best tasting one. It has some sweetness from the pineapples which blends well with the avocado, kale and spinach.

It’s worth trying their food. I loved especially when I need more food and less calories.

The food is fresh, but it is so bland. I created a bowl with rice noodles, vegetables, and spicy peanut sauce. The sauce tasted like hot water with no flavor at all. They also left off an ingredient that I paid extra for. If you want bland, healthy food, then this is your place.
