    Your female employee from last Saturday gave herself a tip that I DID NOT authorise on my purchase! All I ordered was a drink! Why was my charge $5 on bank acct. I called the store but honestly they need to be investigated. Maybe possible embezzling if she’s doing that!

    The food was pretty good, but as others said, the customer service is a big turn off. We weren’t made to feel welcome at all. I noticed that the windows, the tables, floors etc. needed cleaning. When we walked in there were no other customers. The girl who is in charge of making the food was just sitting at a table. When we came in she got up and went behind the counter with her little purse, put on lip gloss, then gloves and made our food. The whole thing felt very unprofessional.

    Food its great, staff is garbage. They are slow, rude, and unprofessional. I've been to this location twice; the first time, the guy took 15 minutes to make 2 pitas, it was like 3 on a Tuesday and I was one of two customers. This evening, I waited for two minutes for the woman to stop staring at her phone, at which point she blurted "chu want?" She then proceeded what I can't deny to be a good pita, but took 5 minutes about it (i'm the only customer in the store), and when she was finished making it I happened to be looking at my phone. She didn't say a word for a minute, just looked at me, then when I glanced up and saw it on the counter, with attitude, she said "that's yo's" and walked back to her seat and pulled out her phone. I've never had a bad experience at any other Pita Pit location, which is strange, considering this one is in uptown and this place's garbage staff makes this city look bad to visitors. This place needs a purge.

    Save your money, I would never return to this place!!! I ordered two pitas, both with extra meat, because apparently their Wednesday special is .99 for double meat. The cashier rings me in first for double meat at regular price, $2.19, then only after I notice and ask about this does he adjust it to $1.19, which is still more than the advertised special. Fine, it's only .20 cents... When I make it to the toppings section, I asked for sauce on both wraps, and both of the sauce bottles were empty. When I asked the server for more (or even any) sauce, she continued to squirt the empty bottles and shockingly there was nothing coming out... its crazy how it works, there actually needs to be liquid in the bottle in order for this to work. Instead of getting a new bottle, she just wrapped up my pita and handed it to me, dry as a rock. I won't even get into all the extra ingredients from the grill and/or the line that were in wrap that I didn't order... would not recommend this place and judging by the most recent past reviews, this seems to be the common and reoccurring theme of this place...

    I was so excited to see there is a Pita Pit in North Carolina! However, I will never visit this location after my experience today. I would have rated them a zero, but it was not an option. I ordered through Grubhub. The time for delivery said 7pm-7:10pm, so I called the restaurant to ensure they knew the order was for now. I was hung up on three times one of which was after I inquired if the gentleman was the manager. I called back and asked for the manager. The woman identified herself as the manager. I advised her that her employee hung up on me three times. She asked me what I wanted. I explained, but then reminded her that she never addressed the issue of her employee hanging up on me three times. She said she would address it, but it's really busy. I asked her name, and she said Nadia. I asked her last name, and she said it didn't matter. She proceeded to tell me that they have a whole line of customers. She said she would be calling her owner, and I asked for his name. She ended up hanging up on me, and they would not answer the phone when I called back. I called my credit card company to put a stop on payment since I could not cancel the order through Grubhub. I was informed that the charge was refunded. So basically, they cancelled my order. Nadia should not be a manager anywhere in her lifetime, and the owner needs to do better with vetting during the hiring process. You will continue to lose customers no matter how good your food is when the customer service is this poor! Former valued customer

    I was very excited about my lunch... until I received it, I asked for double meat, no double meat, I asked for a pita on the site, no pita, I asked that the pickles be put on the side, they are all up and through my salad. The Postmates person was awesome and volunteered to go back. Next time I will either order from somewhere else or call to make sure my food is right before it's sent.

    AMAZING food and selection of sauces. They pleasantly catered to my sister's unique and long order without missing a beat. Boomboom and secret sauce are on point. Food is fresh and a perfect amount of portions were used on each pita. Thoroughly impressed and I'll definitely be coming back for more!

    Ok im not gone be too hard on them but only because it was a friday night and the store was within their closing hour. They get a pass this time for the disturbing behavior of the customer (2 guys ) The staff did prepare food quickly though. I didnt get greeted but she did give me a somewhat farewell.
