Mandatory destination for soccer fans. Cool old school bar in a really cool brick alley. Upstairs and downstairs are both small but not claustrophobic. Scarves on the walls and a match on tv, classic soccer bar stuff. Bartender was a good guy, great soccer conversation and some helpful local insight on other watering holes. Glad that we stopped by Courtyard Hooligans, if you are a soccer fan you will enjoy it too !

Wanted to see the Manchester derby at 8:30 on Saturday morning. They had it on and they were open. Only about 10 barstools for 30 customers, but there were seats and TVs outside. Unfortunately, it was 40°. Cool place.

Fun bar to watch all of the soccer matches! Even though they are known as a Liverpool backer bar. It is in a great location with other bars and restaurants right next door and located right in the heart of the city.

The only place to go if you want to watch soccer. They show all the games no matter what time. When there is a big game you better get there early because it fills up downstairs, upstairs, and outside. The bartenders are always good and quick. Location is cool too because the Brevard Court area makes you feel like you're not in the heart of uptown. They don't serve food but you can get food from any one of the restaurants in the alleyway right there. Been watching games here for 10 years and it's always a good time.

Hooligans was a great soccer spot, I stopped in while visiting Charlotte for business and took in Copa America 2021. Loved that they had the game commentary on, tons of locals out supporting their countrymen adding to the good vibes at the bar. Even if you're not mad into soccer, great staff to serve up a drink.

This bar proceeded to offer me free drinks and then charged me at the end. She opened up a tap when I specifically said I don’t want to start a tab

Cute little bar with decent drink specials, clean restroom (upstairs) but the cheese pizza is super weird and I wouldn't buy it again. Great late Saturday night bartender.

Wanted to give it less than one star… unfortunately we didn’t even make it inside. My boyfriend and I are visiting this weekend and we were at the pub next door- we were going to go place to place, Hooligans was next. We sat in a table outside Hooligans to drink and were very rudely told by some guy employee with a black hat (Friday night- 2/24) that we couldn’t sit there. It seems to me you would get more customers welcoming people rather than shooing them away. Your location is a shared space- make it a positive one. Thumbs down Hooligans..

Great place and perfect for watching soccer. The somewhat intimate venue, with indoor and outdoor seating, is ideal to enjoy a game and talk sports. The bartender Mark was friendly, attentive to customers, and overall excellent. I will definetly be coming back in the future.

Quick and easy spot to grab a drink. Decent area outside to sit and drink. Service was fast. Prices were fair.

Visiting just for the weekend...Was awesome to find a futbol pub in downtown. The energy during the matches was ecstatic..👍🏻
