While attending a conference, several attendees decided to look for some night time fun. We headed over for some karaoke and had so much fun. I will definitely return next time I’m in Charlotte. The bartenders made some great drinks and even sang a song. The energy in this bar makes the experience so much fun. I won’t be sharing our videos or pictures.

Don’t get too comfortable disrespecting black people. It’s the subtle things we notice. The female bartender says slick things sometimes that is weird. Like if you aren’t social then don’t be a bartender. Period. I’ve been going here for years, and it’s never been this weird and hostile. Keep it cute 🙄🙄🙄 it’s a bar in Noda. Not the Hilton.

I can assure you we won't be back here. We signed up for karaoke before 9pm and none of us sung until after 1am. The list was apparently long which I can't understand because the place was about empty when we signed up. Someone had to be putting names on the list for people that weren't even there because I watched people that weren't even in the building go before us. I would think they stopped in, signed up, and came back... but there's no way 20-30 people came around 8-something and did that. The DJ plays a song in between each person which doubles the time it takes to get through the list. Plus the DJ sung about 5x. They make sure they lookout for regulars. I had to change my song selection because she let someone that signed up AFTER me take it. Unless you plan on being a spectator at a not so great show, don't waste your time.

Fun is an understatement!!!! I enjoy coming here and letting loose on the mic. All folks welcome all music is a vibe. You can come alone and still meet somebody u vibe with!!!! Enjoy yourself fully!

I had a blast at this place! The bartenders were so friendly and the drinks were on point. We had so much fun here on our first visit that we came back the next day.

Must visit if you looking to have a good time with karaoke! Dj quan was fantastic had the crowd lit🔥🔥 I’m visiting and now it’s a must come! All genres welcome!

I am in Charlotte staying at an Airbnb up the street and I just started walking and asking questions on what to do…which led me to NODA101. I had so much fun on Sunday. It was a mixed crowd and everyone was amazingly friendly. Definitely go on Sunday night and if you love Karaoke!

Amazing bar and vibe. We came with a group if 8 for karaoke. We started drinking around 8, among the first patrons inside. It quickly blew up in popularity around 10. We had a great time. Bar tab was extremely reasonable considering where we were. I loved it and can't wait to get back out.

Definitely a great place for karaoke! Great vibes and fun times. I went on a Monday night for karaoke and it was a great crowd.

I had a few mixed feelings about this place I originally gave one star for service from a blue hair bartender. I reached out and they have atempted to resolve this situation. We will see. This overall is a really nice bar. For now just watch the young lady with the blue hair service. I'm still skeptical about her until I go back to see for myself. Give here a shot you will definitely remember it.

This is always a HIT spot whenever we are in Noda. For some reason, we always end up going on Sunday, which is service industry night. Everybody is always super friendly and welcoming. This is a karaoke bar, but even if you don't actually stand and sing something, it's still an awesome bar to go and listen to others and get a couple of drinks. They don't sell any type of food here, so definitely plan on grabbing a quick bite before you go. When you go up to sing, everyone makes you feel super welcomed and get you going, and everyone sings along, especially if it's a classic or favorite! This is definitely a bar I recommend to everyone when they are in Noda. This is the most liveliest bar, and the ambiance is always on point! Now this is in Noda, so parking is terrible. There are a couple of parking lots you can park at or Side Street if you get there early enough. We do tend to arrive early (8 pm) just to be able to snag a seat at the bar and be comfortable.

Mannnn we had such a good time. The crowd is very supportive of all the participants and very engaged. The security, bartenders and hosts were all great. They were friendly and respectful. The atmosphere was welcoming as well. I was too scared to sing so I mic dropped lol but I definitely will return.

What can I say about NoDa 101!!? Great local bar that prides itself on daily karaoke for all! Have been several times and not sure why it took me so long to do this review...🤷🏽‍♂️ Firstly, it gets packed in here since it's such a dope spot and everybody either needs to sing or just sit back and vibe out to Charlotte's version of and unjudged Showtime at the Apollo🤣 Secondly, be prepared to stand! Like I said, it gets packed and seats are like VIP, first come first served! Thirdly, when it's your turn to order your drink, you better know what you want off top and make sure to order two of them because again, IT STAYS PACKED! I walk in, wait like a G, and when the bartender gets to me after moving around like Speedy Gonzales, I yell over the music for 2 beers and a shot (Pro Tip: Open a tab, it makes everything that much easier when ordering). They don't serve food, however if you get there early enough you can grab a bite for either Jack Beagles or Salsarita's located on either side of the bar. Overall, if your into having fun and 🆒 being big with random people all while enjoying the Good, Bad, and UGLY of karaoke, this is your spot. Drinks are cheap too 🥃✌🏽

I didn’t actually experience the food but Quan and karaoke night was all the way LIT! THE VIBE, the consistency, the diversity, I needed this and had a blast. And our bartender Jake was great as well.

Great vibes, good drinks, and you'll always find great people just looking to have a good time. If you're looking to sing karaoke, be sure to come a earlier (9/10pm) or put your name on the list as soon as you arrive. The list fills up quick!

This is my favorite spot in Noda. You will make friends here. You will make memories here. Even if you don’t get up on stage and sing you will have SUCH a good time. Not sure why there are complaints about the Karoke. I’ve been here dozens of times and have had no issues. I will say if you want to sit you better be there at 8pm to save some seats. 12/10

Even after getting punched in the face by a kid, I'd still recommend this place. Just know that you might find someone who doesn't care that if your girlfriend is singing on stage and you're holding the seat and they have a drink right at the bar, they're going to sit down and refuse to get up even after the person has returned. I'm not innocent in the situation because i decided to throw the person's food onto the ground as I decided to leave, but just know that it's a great place, they have a great selection of songs, it gets crowded on the weekends, and people will get disrespectful and try you. Incident happened on 05/06/2022.

This place is so much fun. Great bar staff, great prices, good song selection (if you’re ok with only older music), and great vibes. Some really good singers show up too!

Waited for minutes which turned into to an hour and noticed a few ppl went twice. Environment and vibe pleasant however wait time was extremely long and when no one responded for their turn a “skip” definitely would be appreciated other than that arrive early if you’d like to sing. I do know I emailed well contacted prior to coming never received a response so communication obviously poor. Remember to enjoy being yourself mind your business and carry on don’t allow or let any one thing or action ruin you day/mood

The place was very nice. I love the vibes. The bartender were very specific and detail of my drink. I love that and also the atmosphere in general it’s just good vibes. If you just wanna go out with a friends by don’t know where to go I just wanna place with the music and drinks you can go there. I know that’s something that little bit different from everywhere else I’ve been that’s the security was actually very friendly with us even though we were a big group, but the security was very nice and friendly with us and laughing and acting like we’re not for long time other places the security is always mean and acting tough.

I like this place but not on super crowded nights it's hard to get the bartenders attention and they'll never get to your turn for your drink or song lol there are some amazing singers out there so it's very entertaining...also being repeatedly patted down upon re-entry was super annoying even just stepping to the side in the securitys line of vision to have a smoke seemed a bit excessive. Maybe consider an outdoor section out back for ppl that jus would like to step out. Otherwise a pretty nice place

I lost my keys there, I know bc I drove there and it was the only place I’ve been to this night… they REFUSED to let me check the bathroom and when I tried to call they answered and then hung up on me… I assume they left the phone off the hock because after I call it keep going into a “busy” dial…. This place is soooo unprofessional and the people that work here are so rude! I would NOT recommend, you’re better off going to chili’s than this place.

Had a wonderful night with friends! Drink prices and specials were perfect! Music was pretty good, nice mix. The DJ was ight, no complaints lol I love that they have an arcade and photo booth, darts, table hockey, skeeee-ball!! Like...WHAT!!!😁🤗 Not to mention the biggest Pac-Man game I've ever seen. Also, outside deck very spacious with enough room for smokers, dancers and gamers! Play connect 4 while you party. I like. Chill spot.

My song cut off halfway through and the lady said she'd get me back up shortly for another one. She never did. I asked her at one point and she said, give me one more song. Still never got me back up. When I left, I told her I was leaving and she looked at me like she'd never seem before and had no idea why I was telling her it was leaving. I've been to MANY karaoke places over the years and this was the worst.

Place is fun. Crowd very cheerful and fun. Come here for fun and karaoke. Diverse and vibrant at the same time fun for all ages. Will be there again.

Not a bad place if you don't mind having to tall very loudly for anyone to hear you. But it's a small place, so there's no where to be able to sit with a friend or on a date and be able to have a conversation without having to talk loudly, due to the music playing at high volume in a small space. Otherwise the bar service was great and staff was very friendly.

Most definitely one of the best karaoke bars around. Great service good mix of people and music and a great DJ.

Blue haired girl who was serving very kind and represented her establishment well. She stood out as being the most professional and genuine! Because of her giving this place a five star. She's the diamond in the coal mine.

Great atmosphere! A great place to vibe with friends, meet new people, and sing karaoke! The drinks are ok, they could be better. I rated 5 stars for the experience. It was fun!

This is a very nice mid week get away .you can try and sing your favorite song on a stage because they karaoke all week . Bartenders are nice with descent drink prices only thing is they don't serve food .But they will let you bring food in from the outside . So this is starting to be one of my favorite spots. Also a mix crawl I love that!!!!😎

It's a cute karaoke spot. I went on a busy Saturday night. It's fun, great DJ, good drinks. My only worry is that security may have gotten overwhelmed. There were many people there with large duffle bags and book bags. In this day and age, I don't think that should be allowed in bars, clubs, etc. I would suggest at 2 security guards at the front door and metal detection wands of some sort.
