Haven't been here in a few years figured I'd come back Give it a shot and unfortunately very disappointed. I got the beef chow fun and it was not that good lacked in flavor, got the pork fried rice and it was bad.. I even asked for it to be extra dark it was barely one shade darker than white rice and the pork looked like it was boiled chicken lol.. the general chicken was decent and the chicken lo.mein soup wasn't bad I give it 2 stars because the staff is super nice and i know some of the staff and they are good people. They just need work in the kitchen

I bought the Hibachi Trio for $19, which came with this side of veggies. The shrimp sauce was delicious, but the veggies were boring. For $19, I would've expected something beyond a bunch of frozen veggies that seem microwaved. I wasn't the only one to get these sides either. I feel sorry that they seem short staffed, these poor folks seem overworked. I hope they're being compensated for working their tails off.

THAI CURRY Hands Down the BEST Thai Curry ever! If you like curry, you will really enjoy Baoding's (about $15). Varied Chinese/Thai menu + vegetarian options. Spacious clean dining room; upscale modern decor; attentive friendly wait staff; plenty of free & very accessible parking. Definitely a Keeper!

It’s our go-to place for some great Asian food! All the staff is super friendly and so professional! We always leave happy and very full! Our favorite is the crispy shredded beef 😋 shout-out to Micheal for always taking care of us ☺️

I remember having a fantastic meal over a decade back here and visiting Charlotte this weekend, I was insistent on eating here. The space is very unlike regular Chinese places and I love their layout. Our family of 6 got one of the private tables inside and it was cool. We were a mix of vegetarian and meat eaters and ordered a mix of items. Lettuce wrap tofu, Singapore noodles, fried rice, garlic chicken, corn velvette soup, stir fried okra and string beans and some non alcoholic drinks. The star dishes are the okra and string beans, I have no idea how they make them so darn delicious, but I could eat these everyday of my life! The rest of the meal was fantastic too, with huge portions. The two kids at our table are a little fastidious, but even they whole heartedly agreed that the meal was excellent. Our server May May was so cool and fun and really made us feel welcome. She really enhanced our meal experience. I can go on record to say that this place serves some of the best Chinese food in mainland USA. Do not miss this!!

Great food. Huge dishes. Clean restaurant. I had the sesame beef. It's delicious and also a little crunch which I loved. My wife had the Singapore noodles with shrimp and chicken.

This is my go-to place for Chinese food. The staff here are friendly, caring, and hardworking and they serve up quality food options with a nice atmosphere. When I do takeout here, it’s always very fast and easy to pickup. I also really like that they offer different meat/veggie options so if I want to switch it up every once in a while, I can do it with ease. Highly recommend!

A Southpark area mainstay. Classic Chinese dishes in a more upscale setting. Very reasonably priced drinks from the full bar, but stick to the basics or the printed menu. The can accommodate larger parties. Lots of takeout and regular customers. Been coming here for years. Definitely thumbs up.

First time here and I had Singapore Noodles and House fried rice, both were excellent. The only thing I would do differently is order the Singapore Noodles Spicy, they had good flavor but lacking spicy flavor I’m use to.

I have a pretty strong liking for Chinese cuisine. I have a couple favorites I visit back in the Myrtle Beach area. We were shopping in the area and needed a nice place to dine. Baoding was our eatery of choice. It was impressive from its curb appeal through the front door and to our table. We ordered the Hibachi Trio and the Seafood Clay Pot. Our appetizer was the Pork Dumpling. Our meals were expertly prepared. Everything was hot and fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere of the restaurant as a whole has a modern, upscale flare. If you've never been here before, don't expect a buffet vibe. It is fine Chinese cuisine dining. We left with a great experience and appreciation of our food, service, and atmosphere.

Best tasting Chinese food I’ve ever had! We ordered sesame chicken, chicken lo mein, veggie rolls, fried rice and white rice. Food was hot and fresh. I will definitely return when visiting Charlotte.

Baoding is one of my favorites - been many times over the last several years. In that time, Baoding and its staff have proven to be the best in the business - they are very kind and courteous, and the food is great to match. The Thai Curry is my favorite! Will keep coming back.

Food portions are huge, food is delicious! My drink was great! The service is fast and nice, ambiance is great. It's been a while since I've been but it was just a great as last time! Will be going back again!

We were visiting Charlotte and stopped at this restaurant for dinner. I had the BEST Moo Shu Pork. My husband liked his meal also (broccoli stir fry?). Michael told us the company’s history, explained several dishes, and generally kept us entertained. Love this place! I will return soon.

South Park’s only good Chinese option to my knowledge. The duck is worth the price and is juicy, not dry. Some of the other options are good but standardized. Service is fine and food comes out quick.

After living in the Charlotte area for nearly 4 years, we had resigned to the fact that we'd never find a quality Chinese restaurant until we stumbled upon Baoding. Their food blew us away; their sauces are so incredible and they prepare tofu better than any Chinese restaurant I've had in the past. The stir fry dishes were cooked to perfection; the dumplings are out of this world! Service is top notch, and the vibe in the restaurant is wonderful. Truly a gem of Charlotte, no wonder it's been around since the 90s!

Very good place for Beijing duck 🦆 (tasted very fresh). The fish we had was similar to what I've had in China. We will definitely be back 👌

I have been here about 4 times so far. Everyone is friendly. I have not had a bad dish yet. I have had the Singapore Noodles, House Lo Mein, Loading Duck w/White Rice, and Hibachi Trio. I've had the Shrimp Shumai, the Chicken Dumplings, Wonton. The wonton had a peanut butter 'sauce' that I removed and just ate the wontons, which were good. I have enjoyed everything I ordered so far. The sweet tea is good also. I highly recommend Boading.

This is my favorite Chinese food spot in Charlotte. The quality is top tier and the service is always great! I actually ordered the wrong dish the other night and they corrected it with no issue. I love the chicken and shrimp with broccoli! Highly recommend.

The Asian food at Baoding is fantastic! All the dishes that I’ve had has been fresh and seasoned just right. The portions are good, too! I like the way the fried rice is prepared and the vegetarian spicy okra is delicious! I’ve not dined in at the restaurant, but I’ve picked up orders and the restaurant is spacious and inviting.

We tried Baoding on our last visit to Charlotte and were so impressed we sought it out again. Everything we've tried so far has been excellent; fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. They seem to have set up a system where the moment something is ready, someone on the wait staff brings it immediately to table so everything arrived hot and fresh. I love it.
