I stopped in to pick up and drop off items at Founders Food Hall and the smell of the food was irresistible! The taste was even better! I ordered the Datcha bowl and Beef Bokit, and I will eagerly order it again! The flavors were perfect and the amount of food was just right for both my boyfriend and I! Both were absolutely delicious and we couldn't decide which we liked better as they were both so good!

Visiting PEI from Toronto and this was the best meal I had on the island, both in taste and value. I had the chicken bokit 2 days out of the 3 we were in PEI. The flavour is incredible and I'll be recommending Datcha to anyone visiting Charlottetown!

Randomly found this gem of a place in the Founder’s food hall. The bowel was amazing and familiar tasting as a person from the Caribbean.

One of our favourite places to eat in Charlottetown! Have tried all the bokits but am always craving the chicken with spicy sauce and plantains. Everything is so fresh, and is always deliciously consistent with their fried homemade bread. the food hall is also very accessible and kid-friendly.

The food here is incredibly unique and smells wonderful. All the ingredients are of the freshest quality. They pay great attention to the customer's experience! My personal favorite is their Beef Bokit. It's absolutely delightful!

Authentic and delicious bokits (I know because I am from Guadeloupe where bokits are from) The bread was golden and delicious and the flavours were amazing! Good job Val! We actually came back for seconds the day before we left! We tried the chicken, the beef and the lobster and have only one regret: we live in Vancouver and we can’t bring some home with us!

This is the most flavourful food I've had in a while. Our order was prepared to be quite mild to accommodate my toddler but still packed with seasoning and so satisfying. Highly recommend the bokit, little fry bread sandwiches with crushable fillings. We also had a datcha power bowl with spiced chicken, black beans, fried plantain, and coconut rice that you toss together. I want to eat this every day!

Such amazing food from an unassuming place. We got the Datcha Bowl and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The meat is so tender and the whole dish is full of flavour. The owner is super friendly and went above and beyond in his service. Highly recommend!

Great Food! Tried Datcha for the first time today and it did not disappoint! I had the chicken bokit, the bread is made fresh while you order, and the chicken is tender with just the right amount of spice. The homemade hot sauce is great. So glad I found this place, cant wait to try everything on the menu!

The first time we tried datcha it was a taste of home, we have enjoyed all menu items and it is always a 10/10 experience. There is nothing else like it on the island, the flavours are perfect and it has just the right amount of spice it was love at first bite! Apart from the food the owners are fabulous, you can tell they take great pride in their food and it shows. We look forward to every visit, a must try in PEI!

Very nice clean -food make very fresh -saw review 5* love to try it - the man staff very funny and friendly - after wait 10 mint exciting to have 1 st bite …very salty ..they should test it again …bery disappointed

One of my favourite places to get some food. All the food is delicious, my favourite is the Chicken Bokit. The owner is wonderful, very nice, and really cares about the quality of his ingredients. Highly recommended

This restaurant is located in a building with several other restaurants. There is a lot of seating both inside and outside so you can take your time and enjoy the meal. We ordered the cod and chicken bokit which were both delicious.

Best bok-it in town! This is Guadeloupian street food & is made with fresh bread. The bread is so delicious... crunchy on the outside yet soft & fluffy on the inside. I got the beef bok-it which was like a cheeseburger but much better. It had good heat to it yet it did not overpower any of the other flavors. So tasty, so fresh!
