What a wonderful little gem that is minutes’ away from the airport. We stopped by for a quick lunch after arriving and we were truly impressed by the friendliest staffs and the quality of the food! Super fresh ingredients and we loved everything we ordered, particularly the biscuits! We came on biscuit Thursday and we bought 4 (2 cheddar, cheddar jalapeño, and regular buttermilk) to go with us as well as one of the best sourdough loaf, and a mouthwatering cinnamon bun! Highly recommended!

Wonderful hidden gem! A local Charlottonian (is that a real adjective?) recommended this place for a quick lunch and we were are so glad we listened. The staff was super helpful and the food was amazing. We had the lobster grilled cheese and the fried oyster sandwiches and I would highly recommend visiting.

Amazing food, great people and service. Owned and run by two PEI chefs, Gallant & Co. offers a broad selection of to go options, from delicious soups, chicken pot pie, biscuits the size of a baseball, sandwiches and salads. They have a freezer stocked with frozen choices, as well, including their incredible crab cakes. (Prob the best I’vs had. No filler. Just Island rock crab!) Gallant & Co serves a great burger on a homemade bun with PEI potato fries. The fries alone are worth the trip! And if you’re craving a bagel topped with smoked salmon, look no further. Even the bagels are homemade. With 2 top Island chefs owning and running the place, you know they can source the best Island beef, seafood and shellfish and fresh produce. And they take their reputation as respected chefs seriously. Stop by. It’s worth the trip. And buy a chicken pot pie, their enormous biscuits and a few soups to take home.

I saw reviews so i chose Gallannts for my fish and chips before heading back to Toronto and boy i was not disappointed. So fresh huge portin , fries so crispy and fresh. Everyone was amazing and welcoming. Thanks so much. I hope i visit beautiful PEI again.

Delicious and fresh take on classic food! The crab cakes are without potato fillers, the poutine elevated by marinated onions and large cheese curds, very friendly and warm service and environment. Just a hop away from the airport - perfect for post travelling blahs!

Never knew about this place until recently when I was in the area. Their food looks amazing for grab and go, crab cakes, meat and chicken pies, etc. I tried their all day breakfast sandwich on a huge, fluffy, buttery biscuit, with egg, crispy bacon, aoli, and cheese I think? OMG, the best breakfast sandwich ever. Caledonia House coffee. Had a nice chat with one of the friendly owners. Please support this local business! The pandemic has been tough!

Great energy from the team working there - you can tell they like food! Excellent lunch prices and top quality ingredients. Perfect portion sizes for lunch. I had a number of people ahead of me in line with orders for their work offices - they handled them with ease. Keep up the great experience!

My wife and I got engaged on this PEI beach six years ago and 2021 marked our five year anniversary. To celebrate, I reached out to Tyler at Gallants to pitch an idea - a five course dinner for two, with wine pairings down on the sand. No shoes, no problem! Tyler immediately bought into the vision, adding to my bubbling excitement. He quickly went to work designing a menu based on our tastes, sourcing local ingredients and adding his contemporary flair. We had to work around the weather, scheduling a rain date which turned out to be extremely important. The stage was set. A beautiful evening awaited as the sun shone down on the sparkling sea. We were invited to our table, draped in white linens and greeted with two glasses of Fizz. Tyler and his partner, Christine (both Red Seal chefs), flawlessly executed five amazing courses. Thank you for creating a perfect evening for my wife and I. They are memories that will last a life time.

It's a place that always slipped my radar but after having a couple meals here I'll definitely be back many more times. The food is so fresh and delicious and everyone there is so friendly. Definitely try the burger and fries

The most amazing people providing the most amazing local food. You can't go wrong when choosing Gallants. The grilled cheese with their tomato jam is one of my favorites, and my hubby loved the fish burger. Yummmmmm, homemade everything!

Genuinely friendly and conversational staff. Food smelled , looked and tasted great. Menu items chosen were - Smoked oyster burger and sweet potato fries for one person. Hot turkey sandwich on a biscuit for the other.

Gallant is the real deal for tasty good quality food. I really like their chicken sandwich and their fries are very good. My wife likes the card burger and both kids like the beef burger. The cinnamon roll is a tasty dessert. I try to visit at least once per PEI trip.

We needed for business to go to Charlottetown and somebody told us that this is a great place to have a Sandwich or a sweet treat with good coffee, so there we went. It is much more than this. We have been warmly received by the owner and the kitchen crew. And the food was just absolutely amazing. We had a fish burger and a chicken burger and two desserts and coffee and not one item has not been outstanding. And also the place itself is much more than a take out place. The seats right in front of the window is nice and sunny and you can see people come and go and everything is absolutely tidy and clean. I run a kitchen myself and it is nice to see that other people take the cleanliness as serious as I do. Will we go back, for sure! Furthermore we bought a sourdough bread to take home and a flatbread with tomatoes and it was just so yummy- it reminded us a lot of the bread we used to have back home in Switzerland. If I could I would give more than 5 stars. Just a great place for a lunch
