Awesome service and tasty Jamaican food in Charlottetown! Ordered jerk chicken special and a fried chicken meal to go. We had food in less than 10 minutes! The jerk chicken had about 6 small pieces of chicken and came with festival (a sweet doughy bread) and a few slices of fried plantain. The fried chicken came with a thigh and a leg and boatload of rice and beans. It was all tasty, we did find the jerk little dry and the fried chicken not super crispy but yummy all the same. It was takeout so that totally could be contributing to that. Loved the festival bread and tasty spiced rice and beans. Super friendly service and a great flavours, will love to try some more things here.

We had Jerk Chicken, Oxtail with rice and peas. For dessert, the banana cake that came with this yummy yummy warm sauce. Everything was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS !! The meat was tender, juicy fall of the bone- just delicious!. Service was great too. So glad we have authentic Jamaican food here in Charlotteown. Will definitely be back again...and again :)

I stopped in on a whim one day, which turned out to be the first day Boonoonoonoos was open. Ever since I’ve been in almost weekly for lunch; the food options are phenomenally tasty. The rice and peas with gravy is an understated hit, the goat curry is glorious, but you can’t beat a cheese and beef patty for a quick lunch (and at $5.50 a patty you can’t argue). This is, without question, one of my top two favourite places to eat in Charlottetown.

Excellent food! We had the jerk pork and curry chicken. We got the special meal for one of them which comes with fried plantains and festivals which are pastry type things that you can dip in a gravy. They were very good. We got the curry with the regular meal which comes with rice and peas. It was also excellent! We tried the house made drinks, watermelon and pineapple, delicious! They weren't too sweet and the pineapple had a bit of a spicy zing almost like ginger. Will try the jerk chicken next time. The 2 meals and 2 drinks came to $49 something with tax.

Sasha was excellent! She was very welcoming and funny. The jerk chicken was comfortably spicy and a little sweet. Will definitely eat here again.
