It's a pretty good burger and spot, with lots of options for your meal. I had a burger, fries and drink. It's pricy for a brown bagged meal- But I do believe the quality is there. The fries are always in an "overflow" style, which makes you feel like you received more than you paid for. Very similar to Five Guys in that way. I think for the price I'd like a more formidable bun, but it is good flavour wise.

Great burgers and great fries! This place has the same style/quality as Five Guys burger chain. It's not fancy but you're coming here for the food anyways.... The burgers are cooked fresh on a griddle. Fries are also fresh from PEI potatoes. The prices are a bit on the high side, but if you're looking to save money and the weather is good, skip getting drinks and bring your own and eat outdoors. While normally I wouldn't recommend stiffing a business trying to make a go, at $3.00 per cup + tax for fountain pop is a rip off. ($10 for 3 fountain sodas is excessive). Pro-tip - they throw in a scoop of fries into the bag, so you get a lot of fries. An order of regular fries is typically enough for 2 people. Two must stops for us when visiting PEI is Boom Burger and Cows Ice Cream.

Boomburger had no BOOM for me. It was okay. It's nice to have a fresh burger, not a frozen burger patty, but not much flavour past that. Buns also had no texture, like a bun with some texture that doesn't go a little soggy. Fries were also okay, but have definitely had better. They charge for the fry dipping sauces, stick with the ketchup, it's free!

We had a couple of burgers and some fries and they were totally on point! I haven't eaten here in years and back then I really didn't like the food, but now I can definitely say I love it! Definitely will be going back in the future for sure! And the staff are super friendly and accommodating as well!!

If your looking for fresh, quality fast food, a burger & fries (or poutine!) from BOOMburger will hit the spot. Wait time reflects the fact that your meal is made as you order so you get the best balance between rapid service and fresh/hot meal. The poutine is actually good and I regularly pick up some lunch for myself and the family. Not the cheapest meal but value for your money for sure.

The food is really good quality for fast food. It is a little pricey compared to other fast food places, but you don't get sloppy burgers falling apart. Expect to wait, but you'll enjoy your food when you get it.

Mmm! Burgers! I love me a good burger and this one measured up! Paired with their fresh cut fries, the option to customize and the great crew made the whole experience awesome. It’s location, especially if you want to enjoy some of the world’s best ice cream (Cows), completes the overall package.

Must visit if you are visiting the island. Burgers are amazing, with great selection of toppings. The fries are perfect, sharing a caution that servings of fries are large and spill in to your bag, so I wouldn’t recommend ordering a portion for everyone! You will have plenty!

Very good burgers. The fries and prime were acceptable, I didn't think they were up to the standards of the burgers. Service seemed a little slow, but I suppose I may have been expecting faster service based on my days flipping burgers over 45 years ago.

I have an allergy to gluten and dairy I told them about this. I ordered my wife’s food then mine. My wife gets the zesty fries (which we were told it contains gluten or dairy at our last visit) and the works put all the fries in with my gluten free burger. So I can’t eat any of it, they offered to make my food over but my wife had an appointment so I didn’t have time for that. It also cost 50 dollars for two burgers which I was unable to eat. The employees told my that we always put all the fries with the allergy bag (which is the first time they have ever done it). Each order should have its own bag. So last time I’ll be going back. Use to eat there a lot

There was a long red hair in my burger. I took it to the counter and they made me a new one. No apology, no attempt to rectify this beyond a new burger. No hair net on either of the three woman working with long hair. Do better. The burger and fries were tasty - we were starving that’s why I didn’t walk out.

An island known for its potatoes, you know the fries were going to be good but WOW the burger was really the prize winner, just amazing. Plus quick, you know their staff know what they're doing, and doing it well.

I ordered veggie sandwich along with FRIES today. Order number 14. I'm posting picture of fries I got. When we order fries from somewhere worth of $5.79 this is what u get! Really? I couldn't find single whole potato fry in my fries cup. Too low quality and I literally count fries there were only 41 fries. And not a single full size. @owner, this is so surprising for me. I've had fried from ur place many times but this was really bad experience I've had.

Burgers were delicious, lots of customization options like hot peppers & grilled onions / mushrooms & sauces. Ingredients were all fresh & the patty was solid. They had a row of potato bags to keep the crowd in line so you know those fries are fresh… get the dill sauce for those fresh fries while you’re at it!

I cannot believe it has taken me so long to give this place a try! My burger was perfect and the handcut PEI fries were beyond delicious.

Another Five Guys imitation, there's a few of these popping up in the Maritimes. It's not bad for what it is, but it's pricey and only "pretty good". If you're gonna charge almost $20 for a burger meal in a fast food joint it better really wow someone. I would say the highlight is the fresh cut big fires. Very tasty! But when the $5 fries are the star of the show compared to the $10 burger it's a little lop sided. It's good, but it's priced like a restaurant in a theme park.

The Skip page said they had a veggie burger so I trusted that and they didn't, so I got the "Cheese Veggie Sandwich", they put toppings I didn't order on them and the banana peppers were drenched in brine and soaked the entire sandwich. All in all I paid $17 for a sandwich meal I could have gotten at Subway for $11 that would have tasted better. Can not recommend this at ALL

Good Fries, really tasty and fresh, good size serving. Hamburguer was good. Meat needs a little more flavor. Prizes a little high. Services was great!

The food was just alright for me. No real flavour for the amount of time it takes from ordering to actually getting your food. Staff was quite friendly so that was a definate plus. Just not somewhere I myself will rush back to but as I always say try it for yourself as your experience may be different then mine.

The food is absolutely delicious! I highly recommend stopping in for a burger and fries. Made with local ingredients!

Really tasty burgers and amazingly fresh cut fries. Came here twice and was very satisfied both times. First time we tried the fries with sea salt and that was great. The second time we tried zesty pepper and it was very flavorful but became way too salty. The staff members were nice and the place was clean. Would come here again 👌

Went there for supper on December 3rd. We are repeat customers . We each ordered a burger, one with the works, and one with just ketchup. Buns on both were so soggy they were dripping grease. Fries tasted like cooked in old oil. Very disappointed ! Needless to say it will be some time before we return again.

Quality control? This is the second time my friend has gotten food poisoning from here--a coincidence--I think not? There seems to be an issue regarding quality control because their burgers, although excellent, have gotten my friend sick twice thus far, and he has been suffering a lot. Should you choose to dine at this establishment, be cautious and ensure your food doesn't look or taste funky.

Not 'fast food', it took a few minutes but not excessively long. I thought I would be after the lunch crowd but it was still really busy mid afternoon for a non-holiday. It was loud as well but after eating, I can understand why it is a popular place as the food was worth the price.

Double cheeseburger was great. Very large portion of fries. No complaints with any of the food, the price however is higher than your typical sit down restaurant. Burger/ fries with no drink was $20.

If you've gone to a "Five Guys" before, the menu and general vibe of this place is the same. Burgers are made to order and are always fresh. I'd recommend sticking to the smallest size for Fries unless you're going to share them. Great food for the price.

My daughter's comments: There were some negative things that happened BOOMburger and positive things about the restaurant. Positive things first, the meat was delicious! The cheese too! It's made from real natural beef and cows! That's what made it so delicious. The negative thing were not so good on the other hand. First off they messed up my order just a bit. I asked for hot sauce and received hot peppers, they weren't even spicy. Is that hard to tell the difference? Another negative thing was when my dad went to get some soda that was included with his burger. Out of the blue, the machine spewed out the Pepsi and it got all over his shirt, shorts, arms, shoes, face, and eyeglasses! Now obviously he was furious! So he demanded a refund and the cashier looked at him shaking their head while giggling. Then my dad demanded talking the manager and got his refund. BUT the food was heavenly delicious!! In addition, employees should check soda machines to ensure right before customers use.

Burger place, low on service, low on trash cans but high on filling the pit when we were ready hungry. My pup Minnie loved the fries and enjoyed a bit of my burger. They had some EV car chargers for those folks needing a charge.

Burgers were really good, the buns were toasted and buttered, adding to the flavour. Free topping options were good - not skimped on, and the food portions were large. Staff were super friendly and always doing something...stocking, sanitizing, cooking...the whole time we were there. I rated BOOMburger only 4 stars as it is really pricey for a burger meal, with no combo options available.
