Very clean and well appointed place. The food was spectacular, service was great, and the restaurant has done a fantastic job making it safe for his guests in these trying times. French Toast was made with seed bread that I was not expecting, but was happy to experience.

Just looking at the line up to get in before it opens. Wow this place has got to be good! And I tell you, it was the best breakfast I've had on PEI so far! Service was excellent. Fast and friendly. I ordered a moccacino, I didn't know what it was but it was great, I just wish it was served in a mug and not a glass. I found that pretty weird 😬. And for breakfast I ordered the eggs Benny with guacamole and jalapeños. It was pretty amazing! The salad it came was very flavourful too. A great thing to eat to start the day. If you want to have a nice breakfast in Charlottetown. Come here, don't be intimidated if there is a line up. It's worth the wait!

Delicious food and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great atmosphere, bright and airy vibes with plants galore. Little seating so a 5-10 min wait is possible if it’s peak time. A must to check out whether you’re looking for breakfast, lunch, or just dessert!

A very aesthetic Cafe with a wide variety of selections. We ordered the porkstrami schiacciata and the blackened salmon. Get there early for bagels as they didn't have any available. The bread and the porkstrami was delicious! Salmon was cooked well and flavorful. We also ordered the raspberry white chocolate cheesecake for dessert, it was very creamy and decadent. Will definitely return again and is must go in Charlottetown for breakfast/brunch/lunch

Lineup at this place all the time. Breakfast with a German Canadian twist. Wonder why not add another table or two there in the middle?! My friend ordered egg benny dish and she loved it. I wasnt hungry so i ordered a soup and side of home fries. Only disappointment is the home fries. Not the traditional style, it's very greasy buttery and brown in colour somehow? but I think it says so on the menu. See my pics yourself... love my tomatoes soup though!!! Overall 5 star, great service nice atmosphere, fresh flowers on the table. All good.

Wow, I can't even begin to describe how incredible our breakfast was! I had the French toast, and it was the perfect balance of crispy and soft. My wife had the breakfast bagel and absolutely loved it! The everything bagel had tons of flavour and the omelette on top was fluffy and delish! The bacon was cooked perfect and they even made everything dairy free for her! The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The portion sizes were generous, leaving us completely satisfied. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall experience. We can't recommend Leonhard’s enough for an unforgettable breakfast.

Surprisingly great and fantastic. We weren’t expecting such a great experience in this little nook! The interior is rustic but refined, if that makes sense. Modern fittings with lots of… trees. Like actual birch trees adorn the place. Lots of plants and… chandeliers. The place is just beautiful. And the food is fantastic with a wide-ranging menu. We loved it.

Leonhards is a charming cafe that effortlessly combines comfort with outstanding food and beverages. The interior is charming, and the smell of freshly ground coffee beans is prominent throughout the cafe. Everything I ordered was fresh, and you could tell they care about the quality of everything they serve. They take the time to ensure the presentation of what you order is as lovely as it tastes, which is just another reason to adore this place.

We are a group of 10 people coming here for a holiday, we’re lucky that we came here at 8:50am and wait until the open time (9am). It’s super busy right after that, and 9:30-10:00 there’s a huge line up already. Food was awesome, service was friendly, fast and energetic. I recommend their homemade sandwiches. Veggie dishes are available too. Great atmosphere, pretty decoration and delicious food made our day. Will come back next time.

Das Frühstück war lecker und gesund (Eier Benedict - der Salat dazu war großartig). Bedienung auch sehr freundlich. Das Café ist gut besucht, und das sagt schon mal alles. Als wir gingen, war es bereits komplett voll, Menschen standen draußen (also zum Frühstück lieber so früh wie möglich kommen). Einziger Kritikpunkt: Kaffee Latte wurde in einem Glas ohne Griff serviert. Wie kommt man auf solche Ideen?...

This is a really cute place, but extremely busy. It's a restaurant/ take out place, and I found the entrance a little confusing. There are not many tables for larger groups so they will wait longer than a party of two. The food, however, is very tasty and nicely presented. We had the Eggs Benedict and the Breakfast Sandwich, both served with a nice salad and potatoes. The coffee was very good. The service was very friendly and efficient. You pay at the takeout coffee bar, so there is some congestion in the line up. Overall, though, I would go back and would also try their takeout bar (the sandwiches looked really yummy!)

Had a wonderful lunch with my brother at Leonhard's! Didn't have to wait long to be seated, decor and atmosphere were great, servers were super friendly and food was delicious! My salad had some sort of mustard sauce on it which was really good and I ordered their Turkey Bacon Bagel Sandwich which was terrific. The place felt very homey and I would definitely go again.

such a good brunch spot! the line was long but well worth the wait. my friend and i both got eggs benny, where i had the smoked salmon and he had the beets. both were very tasty and great portions. i also had a hazelnut latte which was a great pairing. i'd definitely return!

It was our first trip to PEI, and we started our first day with breakfast at Leonhard's and it was just amazing. I had Eggs Benedict and every part of it was cooked to perfection - Hollandaise to the Muffins. Probably will end up eating here one more time and for anyone visiting PEI, do check out Leonhard's

Phenomenal ! Smoked salmon bagel was amongst the best we’ve had. Bavarian Breakfast was delicious and a generous portion. Will definitely be back

Such a lovely place. Great menu and taste. We are here multiple times on our visit to the Island.

The place is absolutely adorable for a Sunday brunch : it offer a modern and rustic blend. Fresh flowers adorned on each table making a charming atmosphere. The egg Benedict is really tasty with homemade hollandaise sauce, such a delight! Staffs are fast, polite and really helpful. We definitely looking forward to returning during our stay in PEI.

When I arrived, it was full with a line so we asked if we could be seated outside being nobody else wanted too and they allowed it which was nice since it was a little warm. The food was excellent and prices pretty well for a cafe as I've seen many places over charge. Service was pretty good as well as the staff was friendly. I would visit again in the future and recommend it to anyone new in town.

A quaint spot for breakfast. Nice decor, homey vibe. I ordered French toast made with their homemade multigrain bread. Honestly, it was probably the least impressive French toast I have ever had in a dining experience. Relatively thin which did really work opposed to traditional thickness and the bananas were not ripe. However, our lattes were good and service was welcoming.

Loved the ambience of the place. Service was friendly but alright, could be bit more attentive. Food was good, for the price I could’ve expected more for its value. Standard for breakfast spot.

The food came quickly and the server was pleasant. I enjoyed the breakfast as did my wife. The baked goods looked great though we did not partake.

Fantastic food! The feta, olive, cherry tomatoe, and basil omelette is SO good, and the smoked salmon bagel was also delicious 😋 Their iced lattes of various flavours are quite nice too. And they have lovely strong air conditioning, a must for these hot summer days! 👍👍

Did a food rescue on Saturday , Being as busy as we are at Gifts From The Heart I personally picked it up . Food looked wonderful and I plan to have business lunches there . Such friendly staff and I have been missing German Food . if you want healthy food with friendly staff and really nice place to enjoy it give Leonhard's a try .

The ambiance was so lovely 🥰 The owner I guess (who was at the billing) was super nice and recommended some lovely pastries. Their vanilla roll is must try. Heaven in your mouth 😘

Very Nice place (you can tell right at the entrance that this place as good taste!) very good cappuccino coffee (I have high standards when it comes to cappuccino 🧐) and tasty healty breakfast with a personified authentic touch that you can enjoy in the choice of jam and in the benedict recipe (peppered beets and feta 😋) Very welcoming German man (I bet it was the owner ; very attentive to his customers) thanks for the great experience!🥰

Love the atmosphere. Ate here twice and it was great both times. Once for lunch and once for breakfast. The sandwiches and coffee are great! So is the salmon eggs Benedict and sausages. I didn’t expect the Frieda dish to be a mixed dish like a skillet but maybe I read it wrong. It was still good though.
