One
of
the
worst
hotel
experiences
ever.
And
no
offense
to
the
staff
as
they
were
all
lovely
people
and
their
polite
hospitality
is
the
ONLY
reason
this
review
isn't
0
stars.
Upfront,
we
got
the
king-size
room
with
the
jetted
tub.
Not
a
brag,
just
letting
you
know
that
this
was
meant
to
be
one
of
the
best
rooms
in
the
whole
place.
Wow.
SO
NOT
WORTH
IT.
We
went
for
2
nights
and
it
cost
over
$600
for
those
2
nights,
(and
we're
IHG
rewards
members
and
that
price
was
actually
the
discounted
member
price!)
and
for
all
that,
the
biggest
issues
were
the
toilet
and
bed
-
which
is
kind
of
a
big
deal,
right?!
First,
the
toilet.
My
god.
So
low
to
the
ground,
so
cheaply
made,
with
a
wonky
toilet
seat
that,
kid
you
not,
slid
around
slightly
when
you
went
to
wipe,
which
felt
so
awkward
and
kinda
unsafe?...
and
to
top
it
all
off,
the
toilet
paper
was
so
cheap
and
rough,
it
actually
irritated
my
skin...
DOWN
THERE.
Now,
whatever
gender
you
might
be,
whatever
“junk
in
your
trunk”,
you
can
appreciate
that
is
NOT
a
spot
you
want
to
have
irritated
skin.
It
honestly
ruined
the
trip
because
it
made
walking
around
and
even
sitting
down
or
turning
over
in
bed,
a
nightmare.
Second,
the
bed.
Creaking
loudly,
with
pokey
springs,
and
generally
smelling
faintly
of
urine...
I
could
barely
sleep
in
it,
and
I
can
famously
sleep
anywhere.
The
fake-leather
upholstered
headboard
had
greasy
marks
on
it
and
given
the
material,
the
least
they
could
have
done
was
wipe
it
down
between
guests!
I
did
wipe
it
myself,
but
for
the
price,
I
shouldn't
have
to!
And
frankly,
having
a
bed
and
toilet
that
are
in
good
working
order,
comfortable,
and
NOT
gross,
are
the
BARE
MINIMUM
for
a
hotel
room,
especially
at
this
price.
So
already,
as
you
can
tell,
NOT
worth
about
$300/night.
Here's
a
list
a
few
more
issues
that
really
grossed
me
out
or
annoyed
me
about
the
place:
1.
The
pool
has
a
ring
of
dirt
around
the
inside
at
the
waterline.
Eww.
2.
The
hot
tub
is
in
the
actual
bedroom
and
gets
water
EVERYWHERE
when
you
use
it.
3.
Said
hot
tub
was
actually
dirty
when
we
got
there.
Had
to
get
staff
to
come
clean
it
while
we
went
out
for
dinner
on
our
first
night.
I'm
talking
other
people's
hair
and
weird
red
markings
in
the
tub.
4.
One
more
thing
about
the
hot
tub:
the
edge
of
the
tub
is
pretty
tall
and
there's
no
steps
or
handrails.
If
we
were
older
or
we
were
less...
agile?...
this
tub
would
have
been
a
definite
safety
hazard.
Heck,
it
WAS
a
safety
hazard
-
I
slipped/slid
a
few
times
trying
to
get
out
and
if
my
husband
wasn't
there
to
grab
onto,
I
might
have
gotten
hurt.
5.
The
box
of
soap
and
the
bottles
of
shampoo,
etc...
were
ummm...
crusty.
There
was
like,
brown
crust
on
the
bottles
and
bottom
of
the
box.
6.
Speaking
of
crust
and
strange
red
stains...
The
lampshades
by
the
bed
were
stained.
The
wallpaper
in
the
bathroom
-
stained.
The
chair
in
the
corner,
also.
I
know
no
hotel
rooms
are
100%
clean,
but
combined
with
all
the
other
gross-out
items
on
this
list,
it
just
was
the
poop
cherry
on
a
poop
sundae,
you
know?
7.
No,
wait.
I'm
wrong.
The
poop
cherry
was
actually
the
fact
that
the
facial
tissue
stank
like
urine
(probably
because
they
store
the
tissue
box
above
the
toilet)
and
I
only
found
out
when
I
went
to
blow
my
nose.
Which
as
you
can
imagine
is
one
of
the
nastiest
feelings
in
the
world.
It's
not
all
that
close
to
downtown
Charlottetown
either,
so
it's
not
what
I'd
call
a
convenient
location
if
you
plan
on
visiting
the
provincial
capital,
nor
is
it
close
to
attractions
like
Green
Gables.
We
are
IHG
members
–
we’ve
stayed
at
plenty
of
other
locations
in
this
chain,
and
we’ve
never
seen
one
as
dirty
or
poorly
maintained.
I’m
honestly
considering
calling
their
corporate
line
to
complain,
which
is
something
I
never
do,
and
I
almost
NEVER
write
reviews,
let
alone
poor
ones,
so
please
take
my
word
for
it.
So,
in
conclusion:
Save
your
money,
go
somewhere
clean
and
actually
comfortable.
It's
really
not
worth
the
price.
