Food was ok but very rude staff. Was accused of stealing charity pins from the bar even though money was put in the tin infront of another member of staff. Manager followed me to the table, told me I needed to pay for the pin badges on the bar. Didnt ask if I had paid, just flat out accused me of stealing them...When he brought the food, pratically dropped the plates on out table, in fact one plate cracked he dropped it so hard!!!! There are ways of talking to your customers, and this guy has no idea what that way is...

Very clean JDW's with no problems to note. I had a vegetarian breakfast and hot drinks for the new increased price of £5.15. Food was cooked just right and only a couple of minutes wait. TV on showing the news. Some interesting information on the walls about the local history of Loughborough. Some nice plants in the beer garden.

We made the mistake of going with the children on Saturday there was Rugby. We had to wait to be seated as many couples were occupying large tables . The two waiters at the top were not enough to serve, clean tables and others. We had to clean our own table. The chicken burgers we ordered were not bad, but the bread was really horrible, the beef burger was hard as the sole of a shoe and the bread was hard. The fish we ordered was very too fried. I really felt sorry for the poor waiters , we will never be back on a Saturday again .

Quite busy, was told 20 minute wait on food. Food arrived before then. Staff very helpful, food was nice. Pasta Alfredo sauce was too rich compared to normal. Tables very sticky. Overall pleasant experience, helpful staff and food was nice. Vegan beyond meat burger is spot on, even if you eat meat.

I called in on a saturday lunch time. The food: fish chips and peas was great. Hot, tasty, the service was excellent. The following thurs evening we called in at tea time, my husband me and our son. We went for the fish chips and peas again, the fish was hot peas cold chips luke warm. But we ate it. The service staff asked if everything was ok. I said, not really, the food was only warm , not very enjoyable. He offered to get me something else, I declined, but thanked him for his offer. The following thursday evening we tried again, Two of us had fish, chips and peas, the other had jacket potato with tuna mayonnaise. The waitress brought the fish, chips and peas and went back for the jacket potato. I tried mine, again it was almost cold. The peas we're cold the chips warm and the fish, hot.The jacket potato was very dry and most un enjoyable. I told the waitress about the fish, chips, and peas, she said, should I take it away, this time I said yes please. When it came back, it was very hot. Been in the microwave, the fish was hard and stuck to the batter. Wasn't nice at all. The staff we're very good, but, we won't be going back. Sorry. Time was between 5_6.00 p.m

Give this place a miss,DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. had to clean my table ot was a mrss from the previous customers. Waited 40 mins in total for a burger and chips. The first burger was burnt to a cinder, who are they employing that send out garbage like that , it beggers belief. Some staff are so nice others they are walking about thier faces tripping them. Be warned its awful in there.

Been used to going in another Wetherspoons near where I live. The staff there where first rate. It recently closed so I'm having to get used to this one. Everything was great apart from the staff who just didn't seem to be on the ball. I'm hoping that over the coming months though, this will improve.

Staff were lovely, assisted when I needed a little help with the disabled toilet. Food was smashing, as was the pitchers. Only big issue I had was the state of the disabled toilet. It was filthy and the toilet dispenser was pulled off of the wall.

No difference between an adult burger meal and a kids meal. The burger meal was actually cheaper as well so that should have been a clue. The chips were nice though I suppose. It was a Saturday so it was extremely busy and loud. We ordered via the app to the table which was easy. The staff were nice.

We had arrived in Loughborough Town to see friends & visit their shop, which is called "FORAGE" (fruit n veg from almost every country) Anyway, fancied something to eat & it was suggested we try here, busy, relaxing, bustling & we still found a nice table for two. Ordered through the app, food arrived with our drinks as we requested. We enjoyed the whole experience while we were there & left very happy & relaxed ourselves to carry on with the evening before going home. Basically, you want cheap n cheerful "Wetherspoons" always...!!

Nice little area outside some non smoking even has a badge on the table saying so!!, But smokers are only less A-Holes than students

Used to be excellent. Now jacket potato is small with meagre toppings and salad past its best... brown on the end of stems. The Punk IPA didn't taste good yesterday either.

Ordered 3 meals with drinks. One meal, a jacket potato was fine. However, the other two, a vegetarian brunch and a normal brunch were not. The beans were clock cold, as was the egg. The chips might have been luke warm at best. To be fair though, once we brought this to the attention of the staff both were taken away and 10 minutes later well cooked food was presented to us. Unfortunately, the jacket potato meal was now eaten, and staggered meals in a small group is never good. A major contributor to this problem may have been as simple as hot plates. It does matter.

This was a family gathering, there were 7 of us. It was difficult to find a space for us as you cannot prebook. Staff were good as were the meals with a vegetarian option included. All toilets were upstairs except for a disabled toilet at the far end. To use this needed a 'radar key' available on request from a member of staff, or your own. We were not rushed and had a good time.

A group of us popped in on the morning after our works Christmas party. The breakfasts were served up quickly, we're great value for money and just what the doctor ordered 👍 Edit: the engineer of the year award has nothing to do with Wetherspoons - that's just me 😁🏆

Food and drink was served quickly, despite how busy the pub was. App said about 6 minutes for food and 5 minutes for drinks yet were delivered faster than that. Staff were quick and polite, couldn't really ask for more. Thanks for a quick and friendly service!!

Top notch for cheap good quality drinks! Best value in Loughborough easy. Nice food great value. Nice if slightly dayed decor but no pool table unfortunately, good outside area at back. Friendly staff until Friday night and Saturday night when security appears and treated like Dirt by minimum wage foreign thugs at times like most places these day's. Drink all week happily then get hassle and rude at weekends late night!

We visited here (one adult, two teenagers) for food and drink after going to Loughborough Fair. We ordered online from our table and the food and drinks were brought to us. The service was surprisingly quick given how busy it was (we managed to get the last table). Between us we had two big burgers and a pizza, all the food was hot, fresh and tasty. The bill for three meals with drinks was about £27 which was decent value. On the night we visited (Thursday) there was a free pub quiz and we enjoyed a few rounds of questions before we left. I'd definitely go here again for food/drinks and also for the quiz.

Does what it says on the tin. Friendly and personable staff who seemed to be working very efficiently. I witnessed a punter throwing a tantrum and the manager handled it very professionally. Can't ask for much more.

Nice bar, friendly staff. Spiral stairs feel abit dangerous. Stick to walking around the outside, I've seen a couple of people fall down these on a night and then thrown out for being too drunk. Othe that that It's your typical wetherspoons. Good food reasonable prices.

Been here quite a few times and always enjoyed it, this time we went later around 9pm. Unfortunately most of the food was cold and we seemed to be waiting longer than when the pub is at a busier time so was not best pleased. We were hungry and it was late so didn't complain and ate what we could. I am disabled but do not have a radar key at the moment but a staff member unlocked the downstairs disabled toilet for me to use which I was happy about and the staff were friendly.

Had lovely breakfast and a big family lunch there. Food was quick and good. The only negative is ,the staff really need to check their cutlery, again we had to ask for clean cutlery.
