At first when we checked in, there was absolutely no complaints, friendly staff, clean rooms, seemed like a great place to stay. We did have a strong smell of weed but that isn't unheard of at a hotel. The problem came at 1:10am when no less than 50 teenagers began running and screaming down the hallway. This is of course no fault to the hotel, however my complaint begins at 1:20 in the morning when after 10 minutes of constant screaming that sounded more like a frat house than a hotel, I called the front desk to get them to assist with the noise complaint. Nothing was done and by 2:00 in the morning, I had decided that the hotel down the road was a better solution for us. I don't have a problem with the hotel itself or the staff but this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.

Only reason they even get a star is price. General condition of the hotel is horrible and filthy. Whole place needs bulldozing and rebuilt. Based on smell and appearance, it seems to have suffered water and/or rain damage at some point which was not properly dealt with. Appeared to have rat droppings in the corner of our room. Carpet needs to be replaced and probably hasn't been cleaned since 1981. Black mold in the window frame. Headboard fell off the bed when we sat on it. Seriously, the State of Tennessee needs to shut this place down! DO NOT LET ANYONE YOU LOVE STAY HERE!

Any five star ratings for this are fake. Because no one would give this place 5 stars if they actually have been there. Staff was very unprofessional when we checked in. I could have dealt with it if the rooms were at least okay. I understand this is a 2 star, but the rooms were terrible. The dead bolt didn't work, everything was barely functional. My main complaint is this: I checked the bed but since we got back, I've got a cluster of bites on my legs that look and itch like bed bugs!! Beyond upset! Hope my house doesn't get infested!! **Edit** Here's my leg 6 days after staying here. It started acting up basically as soon as we stayed here. Going to a hospital after work tomorrow because over the counter cortisone isn't working. DON'T STAY HERE. THEY DON'T OFFER REFUNDS EVEN IF YOU REFUSE TO STAY AT CHECK IN.

This place was heaven compared to the original hotel I booked. Expedia booked rooms for me here last minute after my original hotel was infested with bugs and really rundown. The building looks a little shabby, but it was honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The rooms I booked were very clean, with a good size bathroom area and an incredibly soft bed. The sheets and towels were maybe a little worn, but they were soft and warm so they felt wonderful to me. The television was old, but worked just fine, and they offered free wifi. The owners enforce a strict no smoking policy, to the point that they will increase your payment if the room smells like cigarette when they go into clean. As such, the rooms smelled fresh, and there were no burn marks or gross residue anywhere. The bathrooms were in good shape, with good water pressure, copious amounts of hot water, clean toilets and tile floors. Even the soap and shampoo they offer smelled really nice. I would say the only real downside was the outside appearance and the hallway smelled a little like weed. But to be honest, those two issues weren't enough to make my stay unenjoyable. If given the chance, I would definitely stay again.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, but the hotel itself left much to be desired. There was mold in the room, tv and ac barely worked if at all. The toilet paper holder literally fell off the wall when I went to get toilet paper the first time. There were roaches and hopefully none caught a ride home. I would not recommend this place to anyone but a bulldozer.

It's just okay. It could be much worse. We booked two rooms as a friend is here with us...her room is worse than ours. She is staying in a single room while ours is a double. The walls look newly painted and the carpet fairly new although dirty in the one room. We have a coffee pot, she does not. No free breakfast here. Indoor pool closed for the season. I read several reviews of smelling marijuana...sure enough we did too.

This hotel is what it is. I'm not sure what some of these reviewers were expecting. I will tell you that the employees of some of the sweetest people I have ever met. This hotel is perfect for a single person or a young couple on a budget that just needs a place to crash for the night.

I've stayed here in multiple occasions because of the price and it's never been very good. On this stay when I checked in and walked in the room it smelled like weed really strong. I got a pizza and left it sit on the table for about an hour. When I went to eat it was crawling in roaches, lights off and roaches everywhere. The sheets where definitely not very clean or the bathroom. I'll pay an extra five or ten bucks from now on and stay in a decent room.

Staff were very kind and friendly. Cheap prices and the room is good for what we paid. The place does have a couple of wanky things, but Iā€™m sure the owners are working on it.

The absolute worst. From the moment i checked in i thought i was going to get shot. Blood in the hallways, blood on the towels, blood on the shower curtains and struggle marks on doors. Stay far, far, far away. The customer service was the absolute worst. I told them about the black mold and BLOOD and they acted like it was a huge deal that i wanted to change rooms never mind asking for a refund. I really can't express how bad this place is. It honestly needs to be condemned and torn down as it is unfit for human habitation and the current owners have zero clue what they are doing. If you value your health and sanity DO NOT STAY HERE.
