I've
stayed
in
a
LOT
of
Embassy
Suites
over
the
years
as
a
business
traveler.
This
was
by
far
the
worst
experience
ever
starting
with
check-in.
The
employees
were
like
robots
and
not
inviting
and
friendly
as
I
expect.
I
was
also
charged
a
$25
refundable
fee
which
was
explained
as
a
fee
just
in
case
there
were
damages
to
the
room
or
I
made
concession
purchases.
I
have
never
been
charged
before
for
something
like
this
at
an
Embassy
Suites
including
the
week
before
at
a
stay
in
Knoxville.
I
asked
if
it
was
a
local
policy
or
cooperate
policy
because
I
was
not
charged
a
fee
in
Knoxville.
She
said
she
didn't
know
but
it
was
"What
I'm
required
to
do".
I
further
explained
that
I
don't
plan
on
charging
or
purchasing
anything
and
if
there
were
damages
I
doubt
$25
would
cover
damages.
Further,
I
asked
why
do
you
need
my
credit
card
again
when
you
have
it
on
file
as
payment
for
the
room.
Again,
she
had
no
good
answer.
I
ultimately
allowed
a
charge
as
long
as
it
was
refundable.
I
was
handed
a
parking
pass
and
told
to
display
it
in
my
window.
Why
do
I
need
a
parking
pass
when
I'm
parked
in
the
hotel
parking
lot.
All
of
the
above
just
make
me
think
I
stay
in
the
bad
part
of
town
and
the
staff
expects
damages
to
occur
and
they
have
a
problem
with
parking.
Once
getting
to
the
room
it
was
underwhelming.
There
were
stains
on
the
shower
floor.
The
TV
set
up
was
frustrating.
There
was
no
way
to
access
an
actual
guide
showing
what
was
on
as
"No
information
available"
was
shown.
The
HVAC
system
was
quiet
with
the
exception
of
an
antiquated
thermostat
that
made
REALLY
loud
clicks
when
the
system
cycled
on
and
off.
The
result
was
it
woke
me
up
often
during
the
night.
But
the
worst
part
was
the
Hotels
location.
Evidentially
the
street
in
front
of
the
hotel
is
the
local
drag
strip.
There
were
cars
and
motorcycles
drag
racing
most
of
the
night.
I
didn't
get
much
sleep
at
all.
There
was
a
Little
Debbie
Oatmeal
Pie
on
the
night
stand
by
the
bed
with
a
laminated
card
telling
me
they
were
made
locally
and
the
hotel
had
partnered
to
offer
the
pie.
I
didn't
even
pick
it
up.
It
was
not
wrapped
for
"individual
sale"
and
probably
from
a
larger
box.
Just
a
bad
move
on
the
hotels
part
to
offer
guests
something
without
wrapping
identifying
the
contents
in
this
day
and
age
of
bad
actors.
The
only
positive
thing
I
can
stay
is
the
2
staff
members
working
at
530
in
the
morning
were
VERY
friendly
and
a
pleasure
to
talk
with.
This
is
one
Embassy
Suites
I
will
never
stay
in
again
and
I
also
recommend
if
you
are
considering
a
stay,
go
elsewhere.
UPDATE:
I
contacted
Embassy
Suites
via
their
web
site
as
requested
and
did
not
receive
a
response,
as
I
expected.
