Best spot in Cheb for lunch, dinner or nightlife. Service was fast. Czech, German, English speaking staff. Food was incredible even stayed around and played a few game's of billiards in the game room also. Must try.

I was not expecting to find such place in Cheb, it was a very pleasant surprise. We had beef goulash with local bread and cod with grilled vegetables and both were excellent. Local beer is served right from beer tank, it was very good. The atmosphere is incredible, the place is cosy and especially some parts such as the underground floor make you want to spend your time there. Staff was very friendly, professional and fast, considering how crowded the place was (reservation is recommended). Definitely my go to place the next time I am in the city.

Beautiful restaurant but with slow service, and if you don’t speak czech fluently they assume you speak German. Also people seem to bring their used plates and glasses back to the bar area so I believe it is obligatory. 📖 German or CZ menu available. 🍲 good food arrived very quickly once ordered. 🍺 local beer 🍷 good selection of wine 🪀 kids menu available 🐶 dog friendly 💳 cash or card accepted 🅿️ parking on side roads available nearby.

Great "pubby" atmosphere and good food. A bit overpriced but not a reason not to come back. Definitely a good choice to dine in Cheb!

Wouldn’t recommend. Service was pretty basic at best, give us the feeling we had to hurry up with the order because kitchen was about to close. Meat portions did not justify the price (we had bigger and much tastier meals for much less, hamburger in McDonald’s tastes better!). Expensive with no justification! Don’t waste your money on this place.

Very delicious food, you can find traditional and modern czech food. The beer was amazing, I heard they make it in house. They have czech, english and german menu. The inside is big and beatiful, like a modern bar with restaurant sitting. Only 4 stars because the service is kind of slow, the food came out fast, but when you need someone they do not notice you and just walk by.

Super friendly team at Restaurant Hvezda that speaks also English and German, very welcoming, polite and professional. The food was amazing as well, especially the home-made dumplings and the sauce ... so delicious. Our whole family had a great time...thank you once again :)

The worst choice to have lunch. Went two weeks ago and were utterly disappointed. Poor service(waitress chaotic, unwelcoming), food mediocre/poor quality(disgusting cheese platter style). Wine choice is simply basic and the bottles are ridiculously priced. A bistro that desperately wants to be a restaurant.

Great place, the food was amazing and not pricey. Also the espresso was very good, but I didn't really like the dessert! Other than that, highly recommended!

Dear owner of Hvězda restaurant, as a representative of asian community, I most enjoyed the willingness and pleasantness of the staff. However, the only thing I would rebuke is lack of my mum’s spaghetti, I love the most. As a sign of how seriously I admire you, I public here the spaghetti sauce recipe of my own mommy. “To make the best spaghetti sauce, you simply need to brown the ground beef and drain off any excess fat. Then, throw in the chopped celery, onion, and garlic and cook until the vegetables soften. So far, so good? Dump the rest of the homemade pasta sauce ingredients into the pot and bring the mixture to a boil. Once the spaghetti sauce is boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer on the stove for another 3 hours. I know 3 hours sounds like forever, but that’s how long it takes to make a rich, flavorful meat sauce. Once the homemade spaghetti sauce has had time to simmer, all that’s left to do is boiling the spaghetti noodles according to package instructions and dish it up!” To conclude, this restaurant is the best place I have ever been apart from playground next to my house. Nice place, food and drinks good, but the service is terrible, 20 min waiting for waiter to come, and the restaurant even was not very crowded, staff is not friendly.

The food and presentation was very good. Moreover the place has a really good ambiance and nice design. The waiter however was very rude and yelled at us because we didn't understood in which order we should order the food. I understand that it is rather complicated to handle a big group of people when you don't speak their language but you do not yell at them if they do something wrong.

The ambiance was very nice…and the meal presentations were lovely. The Resturant playlist was really nice as well. My friends and I came in because I have a gluten intolerance issue and they had gluten free options. YAY!!!!!! I ordered my grilled salmon with Beluga black lentil salad and they served me a mixed salad (with crotons) and salmon cuts. The server was not to approachable, my friends got served their order meals and we were on a time crunch….so I just eat it. Considering the reason why we came was a total fail AND I didn’t feel comfortable about voicing my issue I probably won’t ever come back if I come to Cheb again.
