Highly disappointed from the very beginning. 1) Booked a handicapped accessible room with accessible shower. Even messaged the hotel before arriving confirming this is the room booked which they confirmed. Upon arriving they did not have this room available as they said it was "still dirty" so booked us in another non-accessible room. This is unacceptable. 2) The toilet was not secure to the floor. It rocked and wiggled. Needs repair. 3) The shower/tub nozzle did not work. Water was pouring out of the shower head and the tub faucet at the same time. Needs repair. 4) The mini-fridge actually froze everything. Fruits, veggies, cheese, all had to be thrown out. 5) Dirty elevator, only one was in service. 6) The people partying either next door, above, or below us made for a sleepless night. Sound travels in these rooms. 7) The check in staff seemed too busy talking to their friends instead of paying attention and giving instructions about checkout, pool times, directions to room, etc. 8) The black guy that handles the luggage carts in the lobby and outside was rude as hell. He shouldn't even be working where he has to deal with people. 9) One of the room keys didn't work. 10) The air conditioning in the room is flaky. 11) 2 of the lamps/lights did not work. The good. The bed was comfy, the pool was nice, the tv worked and the location was great.

This place should be investigated and sued. Blizzard conditions, roads shutdown, people stranded here for warmth and staff was telling everyone they had to pay full holiday prices to reserve a room even though nobody who had reservations was able to travel to the hotel. They refused to open the kitchen while people there didn’t have food for two-three days. Staff was incompetent to ease any tensions and instead of helping everyone through the situation, they rudley shrugged people off. Unbelievable

My wife and I stayed one night from 10/26 - 10/27. Our room was absolutely filthy. Dust was all over the furniture, and the bathroom had a terrible odor. In addition to these issues, on the morning of our check out, we found that the shower didn't work. When I went to call the front desk to let them know, I also found that the room phone also didn't work. I brought this issue to the attention of the front desk staff, and was offered an insulting 15% discount. I paid $271 for one night. When reaching out to manager, Paul Haroon later that morning, Paul went on a confusing, illogical rant about American culture, and how we are all ungrateful, selfish people who only want refunds. As the conversation went on, he continued to scream at me, putting words in my mouth and continuing to circle back to his distain for American culture. If insisting on a functional shower when paying $271 a night for a hotel room makes me a part of selfish American culture, consider me guilty. When attempting to reason with Paul, he would not lower his voice, and proceeded to hang up on me.

Not worth the price at $250/night. Stayed here for a baseball tournament as this was one of the Tournaments recommended hotels. It was awful! No microwaves in room, had to use microwave in lobby to warm up food. At $250/night no complimentary breakfast included. Stained floors in hallways and in most rooms. No soap and towels when we checked in. Had to ask for towels and soap. Hallways smell like cigarette/Marijuana smoke even with No Smoking signs everywhere. A/C in room had to be looked at several times and still didn't make the room cold. This is a 2 star hotel at best and that's stretching it.

Pros vs. Cons Great parking and access to rooms from parking lot. The courtyard in hotel is an awesome space to congregate and sit down with family/friends. Rooms are out dated, reminded me of the “shining”‘horror movie. They had a massive roof leak on the second floor, which the families had to re arrange the bed so water wouldn’t fall on them while sleeping.Bathroom amenities weren’t the greatest as bathtub was cracked and mold on walls. For the two nights of stay, room service was non existent. I had to go to the front desk to ask for fresh towels. A great selling point is that it’s right next door to Walden Galleria and many other stores and restaurants. Price point was expensive. I hope this review helps you out!

DO NOT STAY HERE! If I could give this hotel 0 stars or negative stars, I would. The front desk staff was nice, but the Manager (Paul) was an absolute jerk. The manager screamed at my husband and told him that "you Americans are always looking for refunds". Our room did not have a working shower. Once we noticed the shower wasn't working, we tried to call the front desk but the phone in the room did not work. After paying $275 to stay here they said they would refund us $20. I don't know what the correct refund would be, but $20 seems a little low when you paid $275 and couldn't shower. The best part? WE NEVER RECIEVED ANY DISCOUNT OR REFUND. What a joke of a business.

This hotel is not very clean. We just stayed for a hockey tournament and our room was old and presented as not thoroughly cleaned. I found hair on the bathroom floor and under the pillow. The faucet in the tub was not working properly and making a very loud noise. The tiles had black on the grout. I didn’t see any staff so I can’t comment on if they were helpful. Staff are NOT walking around at any time. Guests were partying in the hallway until at least 11pm as well and that seemed to be acceptable. There are no breakfast options, so you need to have an alternate plan. Overall, not a pleasant stay at all. It’s beside the mall but that didn’t really matter. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

When we arrived at this hotel, the room they gave us was NOT cleaned. It needed to be vacuum, and the bathroom sink had not been wiped down. After going to the front desk, they upgraded our room, but the room didn't have a refrigerator or iron, which we took from the previous room. The upgraded room wasn't bad, but we still bought Lysol and cleaned the room ourselves. It didn't need vacuuming, though. Outside of that, the common area in the hotel that has a bar, pool, and sauna I think had a great ambiance, very serene which we had a balcony to overlook this area hence the upgrade. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, a movie theatre and a mall within walking distance of the hotel. So this is in a great location. We also had a slow leak in our bathroom sink and tub, and the maintenance person came immediately. So the service was not bad. This hotel just needs a DEEP CLEANING. Just a suggestion.

The hotel is under renovation and it shows. One elevator was functioning for the entire hotel leading to 10 minute waits for an elevator. The pool was good and room relatively clean. There is a huge open hole in the wall on the 5th floor and the other floors look bleak. The staff was pleasant enough but were run ragged with maintenance complaints. One guy was complaining about a leak into his room and was super upset about it. Good location if you want to go to the mall.

I was wondering why the reviews were so mixed until I stayed there myself on NYE. Rooms are actually nice and the lobby and building is also surprisingly decent. But the hallways and stairwells reek like weed smoke and the smell starts to linger in your room overnight. Sketchy characters seem to find their way in and the cops came eventually. At 2AM, an alarm went off and a screaming fight started happening a few doors down. Cue sirens and cops again. The place seems way too big for the staff to keep under control and safety is questionable. Customer service is fine but they seem to be powerless. The breakfast food is also highly underwhelming and not really worth it. If they keep the riff raff out and actually enforce the No Smoking policy, then this place might have hope. Until then, sayonara.

If you are looking for a hotel that has a pool and indoor courtyard, skylights, trees and plants this place is pretty nice. Also Walden Galleria mall is within walking distance if you want to go shopping. This place is also dog friendly which can be hard to find sometimes. The bathroom had some wear and tear. The room didn’t have a microwave but there was one in the hallway near the ice machine (that was out of order). If you want a quiet room get one that doesn’t face towards the courtyard, it might get noisy at night even though the pool closes around 10pm. The breakfast was decent enough.

This hotel was in a great location for restaurants, shopping and attractions. The front desk staff and bar staff were friendly however upon check in my family and I were sent to a room that upon opening the door someone else was already in. When we went back down to the front desk we had to wait another 20 min in line to get the situation corrected. We received our new room and although it was very outdated and smelled we enjoyed the pool and our time with my sons hockey team and families. The morning of checkout we were promised breakfast and when we went down to enjoy a meal before another hockey game, we were informed the chef was sick and there was no breakfast. This was in my opinion not acceptable and more should have been done to provide food for their guests. I would not return or recommend this hotel to anyone else.

We’ve stayed at this hotel three times now. I felt compelled to leave a comment as the standard has been steadily deteriorating to the point where it’s not worth staying anymore. Firstly, the reason why we stayed, the pool, is kept so cold you cannot stay in the water. This is a year round issue. Sliding doors in cupboard were broken, the door hook in the bathroom fell off. There were no extra rolls of toilet paper and insufficient showering products. The rooms are older and in terms of cleanliness they are 3/5. Mildew in the bathrooms. Wow is this a hotel or buddy’s frat house from college? We would like to stay here again but this standard has to improve. Not everyone staying here is attending a school tournament, some people are actually here with their families and it’s unfair to punish those who’ve specifically picked this hotel for the enjoyment of their family. Also, the grinch in the breakfast hall really needs to work on his condescending attitude. This is not hospitality and to receive his minute by minute announcements is entirely unacceptable. I walked out. This continuing trajectory of deterioration encourages us to find other facilities to stay unless these issues are addressed by the staff. Thank you.

Overall I give this hotel 1 star. Only thing that’s good is the location. I stayed there on Christmas Eve for 1 night. The hotel was very dirty especially the hallways. It looked like the carpet hasn’t been cleaned or vacuumed in a very long time. I have pictures to prove it. I understand that the hotel has renovations going on but that amount of dirt and dust is unacceptable. I had to switch rooms because the first room had water leaking from ceiling into my bathroom. I was forced to go to front desk to tell reception the issue because the phone didn’t work in the room. After explaining the leak in my room to reception, I asked for a cup for hot water in the lobby. Receptionist told me that they didn’t have anymore cups at the front desk and that I should use the cups in my room. Another inconvenience. The next morning the breakfast was decent. Went back to my room only for housekeeping to be knocking on the door at 10 am. That’s way before checkout time. I told housekeeping that I check out at 11. Can you believe that housekeeping came again at 10:35 asking when am I checking out?! That was very rude and invasive of housekeeping to rush guests out of their rooms. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone!

I will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are so outdated for the price of 139.00 per night. This was a contracted event with the promise that the rooms would have been renovated by the time our event took place which was 10 months from the time of contract to event date. I have pictures but I will not post them right now. Many in my group moved rooms several times due to the lack of cleanliness. I was so embarrassed. The carpet throughout the hotel was stained very badly, curtains has stains, our room lights went out while getting showered, they did bring us a key to shower in another room, our lights were the only one out and they stayed out for multi hours. I have a long list of complaints from my attendees.

  • 2/5 Scott W. 6 months ago on Google
Some renovations have occurred (mainly in the lobby) but the rooms are in need. There were some strange smells off the elevators and in the rooms. We think the plastic liner on the room drapes are getting hot and making the smell. Carpet in rooms are poor and need replaced. I reserved a king room but when we arrived there weren’t any king rooms that were cleaned (at 5:30 pm). Had to settle on a double Queen and received a very small discount. Didn’t try the breakfast but found great places about 10 minutes away.

The rooms are a little dingy but they are working on updates. The day staff are friendly and very helpful. The day manager on shift was exceptional and friendly always thinking about the guest. The bar staff Derik are equally friendly and make you feel at home.

Do not Stay here! Upon arrival, we first experienced the remote wouldn't let us change volume.. this was just the beginning so I'll list all the issues. They hold 100.00 for incidentals... what incidentals? Even high class hotels dont hold that much money. The rooms are old and dingy and not very clean. No microwave in room, the fridge barely gets cold. The ac barely works and has a Loud humming sound. The hallway smells so bad like weed and the rugs are deplorable. Bathroom is small, all the plugs in our room do not work except for 2. Here's the real kicker... we got stuck in the freaking elevator! I had a whole panic attack and don't even want to finish our stay. Elevator kept going up and down and hit panic button and no one came. Thankfully, after 10 minutes of that straight nightmare, the elevator stopped on floor 1 and my husband pulled the door open. Overall, horrible hotel and will never stay again.

I wish I can give this hotel 0 star. I have to stay here for one night since the travel agency booked for the whole group together. The toilet it not flushing, and the bed sheet and cover look so dirty, and the wall is like a paper thin. No one came to fix the toilet issue since we were told the earliest time for them to fix is the next day. We had to use the public bathroom in the lobby. Everything is so massive. Having to stay here is a like a nightmare.

Stayed here for two nights. Heard hit or miss reviews so I was very nervous. Just came down for shopping so didn’t need anything fancy. Honestly you got what you pay for, everything was just ok. The rooms were fairly clean, our sheets lifted in the corner and under neath was not clean so we just tucked it back in. The pillows were TERRIBLE. Felt like a T-shirt balled up in a pillow case. Had to go buy pillows just to get some sleep. No smell, one night the bathroom smelled like weed really bad. Over all I would stay here again cause it’s cheap and just bring a pillow.

This was a decent hotel. In the lobby was complimentary coffee and tea. But we got put into a room which someone was already in and had to wait another 20 minutes to get our card. I couldn't sleep at all tho the room was pretty nice. Overall, decent hotel.

Decent room for a hockey tournament. Washroom had a dirty floor with bits of stuff everywhere. Terrible water pressure in the shower. But the beds are good, and it's close to the Walden Galleria mall.

The one thing that was good, staff work hard to keep you happy. The bad- No house keeping unless you stay for more than 4 nights, so no toiletries and coffee after first night. This info should be posted on their website. Windows are filthy on inside. Exterior building doors locks are jammed open, for contractor entry. (no security 24/7). Safety rail in shower not secure to wall. No safe for valuables in room. One elevator out of service the other has issues. Breakfast was horrid, Steamed eggs and sausage. Couch was filthy with stains. The hotel is under renovations, this should also be put on the website. We had stayed here prior to Covid and new ownership and no issues, we will definitely not be returning. Very disappointing stay.

I had to fly out to pick my son up and I went through Priceline for hotel and flight for 8-1-2023 thru 8-2-2023. I picked this hotel because I stayed here last year and it was amazing. This time the hotel was a little dirty on the floors but I didn’t have an issue tell I woke up. I woke up with 16 bites on my legs for 159$ a night I expected way better!! The staff was super amazing but I’ll never be back to this hotel!!

Mediocre. The interior decorating did its best at looking “luxurious” but the fountain reminded me of Putt Putt. Also fire the rug cleaner. I approve of the fancy chair in the room. I felt a little royal there for awhile. #didijustkaren ??? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would have given it a 0 star if I could. They mess up your booking. We booked a double queen bed and when we got to the room someone was in there already. There were several people at the front desk complaining with lots of issues. The desk attendants are totally negligent and do not care. We had to wait almost 2 hours before they gave us a king bed but we had four people so we could not fit in the room. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO RUIN YOUR TRIP/VACATION!!!

  • 5/5 TAA A. 10 months ago on Google
The staff there are INCREDIBLE!! The friendliest people, so helpful, kind, and nice. They want you to enjoy your stay. The hotel is being renovated so it’s just going to get better. The pool area and gym are really nice. The room was good, about the average hotel room. The bed was comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. But the staff was the best part! Elijah at the front desk dealt with my concerns immediately and was very friendly didn’t make me feel like I was a bother. There were a few others at the front desk I didn’t catch their names but all were great and helpful when I came up (which was often). Derek the bartender made the BEST drinks he was very attentive and just an all around nice guy. Anytime I saw an employee, they always greeted me and if I needed help would go above and beyond. I have to go back in that area in a few months and I will be staying there again!

I hate leaving bad reviews but in this case, the only reason im giving it 1 star instead of none is because of one nice man that worked at the front counter. Otherwise the other staff were rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. They gave my room number out to someone who should of never been able to get that info so easily. When i asked for cleaning supplies/sanitizer for the tub i was told they didnt have any along w several other basic common items I requested. Not to mention she didn't even come off her chair from the back room she was eating her dinner without any delays due to helping me. I was overcharged and when I called to complain i was told they forgot to take some discount off along with saying i ordered room service for breakfast which is crazy because i didnt even know they had any food at all in the hotel. I was refunded most of the money over charged but still the $100 incidental fee is still pending over 3 weeks later along w another small fee. The walkways were littered w trash the arcade with the maybe 3 working video games in it ate numerous quarters but after having a negative couple experiences with staff already i just took the loss. There were several other issues we had and not even a phone call like i requested was given to try to rectify any issues i told them about was received from the higher management. It was a beautiful room but so many other issues made me more upset then ever before with any similar places

Although the room was a nice size and clean the bed was the worst. I have never slept on a bed so hard from a hotel room in my life. I don't like to leave bad reviews but the bed was so uncomfortable and because I have sciatica it was worst. The only thing that let me get some sleep was it was my birthday and I had a few drinks but when they wore off I woke up in pain and couldn't sleep. I wouldn't mind visiting again because it was nice but that bed is a no for me.

We 1st arrived and got in our room and we were supposed to have a King bed and they said all they had was two queens we were fine with that! We got to our room and the shower curtain was on one of the beds and the bathroom wasn't clean after walking far too our room and they had nothing to put our luggage on to carry it. My husband called the front desk and asked if we're supposed to clean our room! They sent us to another double queen room. It was ok but really not the cleanest room I ever been in but I was exhausted and had an early flight so we took it. We were supposed to have a ride to the airport. We found out that the airport shuttle didn't pick up that early in the morning for our flight so we have to call a cab. My husband did. The front desk said we'd get reimbursed. When the cab driver dropped us off and my husband told him that the hotel was paying for it he started getting mad and yelling at us and threatening to call the police if we didn't pay him so we paid him. This hotel is ridiculous!!!!! Nobody knows what the other is doing! That should have never happened to us! They paid us after we got home from our trip after my husband talked to the front desk again! But that wasn't right. We had a horrible experience and never will stay there again! The place has gone down hill!

What a joke this hotel is! The lobby is very beautiful but when you get upstairs to the rooms very outdated, smells of almost like an old attic, Cobb Webb’s everywhere, the shower paint is cracked and chipped. Took the shower about 30 mins to even get warm not hot just warm. The girl at the front desk Hailey was very helpful. My company Books me a hotel room every night however whomever they spoke with earlier in the day gave my company a confirmation number however went to check in and there was no reservation however once the front desk lady checked there email there was the credit card authorization form in the email. So she had to charge the credit card again

We stayed at this hotel during the storm. The staff of the M hotel were extremely helpful, very friendly and accommodating to the end! During the storm, they made sure we were comfortable and warm. They knocked on my door several times even to check on my pet. They walked the corridors and checked on everyone. I had no problems with borrowing a shovel and a brush for snow removal (and to dig my car out which was buried in snow). One gentleman even offered to help. Because the hotel never received their food delivery, it was a hard-go for food to the restaurants nearby but the manager and the staff gave sandwiches and chips with water or juice when nothing was available to eat. The restaurant and bar was opened until one patron decided to create trouble for everyone. It wasn’t until then, that it closed. I would stay here again for sure. The rooms are comfortable, cozy and clean. During the hardest of times in a storm, their staff was just absolutely wonderful!! Keep up the good work!!

This was the epitome of good customer service, our flight got canceled. Within minutes of booking we had a shuttle and the best room I've had traveling EVER. The staff are saints, with all the warm hospitality I would expect from my home town. Both our shuttle driver (Melissa)and the front desk (Kiontay)were incredibly kind. Our room is HOLY WOW look at this view. I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND you stay here. And the tub was to DIE for. Well worth the nightly rate and way beyond bang for buck into like a unicorn kind of deal for what you get

Close to mall so stayed in December for Bills game. Re-booked today for March return but website adjusted dates to Feb 20 mistakenly. Called. Asked for reschedule and was quoted policy and a hard NO. Understand policy but every situation is different. We only asked to change an honest mistake. And while we thought we found a place we could return to over the years...we won't be back. And that's a shame.
