Pinseria Publick

Service was slow and impersonal. They ran out of all pasta except penne and given that it tasted like supermarket pasta it didn't really need to be the case. I had the cheesy pasta dish and it was just awful. Bland, boring and very long periods of waiting for service and food. Very disappointing. The only caveat was that there was just one waitress serving the whole restaurant.

First things first: expensive, unfriendly staff, other guests ordered Pinsa, but when we asked for it the waitress said they didn't have Pinsa and you could only order salad. Aperol have tasted a bit watery. Too bad!

The place is intimate, calm and nicely decorated. Being at the first floor it reveals a very beautiful view on the Tampa mountain and down on Republici street. The pinza dish is very tasty and comes quicker than expected. The prices are ok for the center of the city. I definitely recommend it if you want to have lunch,dinner or simply a drink.

Delicious breakfast from 35-42 lei, served quickly. I had fried egg on avocado toast, served with salad and prosciutto. They do lovely smoothies under the Energy section of the drinks menu.

This is my third time visiting Brașov and my third time coming to this place. It has a cozy pub vibe. I’ve only tried the small plates so far—not the main dishes—but everything I’ve had was very tasty. The atmosphere is casual and laid-back, which I really appreciate. If you come here, don’t expect anything fancy. Expect good small bites, friendly service, and great vibes.

Pinseria Publick is just one of those places that hits the spot when you're looking for something safe and tasty. The food wasn't exactly as advertised in the pictures, but it was fine nonetheless, as you may be able to tell from the photo. Moreso, their cheese is great quality, and, judging by the menu's ingredient list, they also make traditional carbonara pasta! The staff was also really nice, making us feel welcome in their establishment. Overall, good place to go when in need of a quick bite to eat.

They don’t have a variety of options, but whatever you choose is really good. We loved the Mediterranean salad. Fair prices for the portions they offer. The only thing was that the heater was barely giving any heat and it was freezing outside, but that’s in January…

Fabulous place! Tried Pinsa for the first time and it was absolutely amazing! Chose Pinsa Carbonara and the taste was really well balanced. The waitress was helpful and the food service came fast (ordered a lemonafe and the pinsa), the lemonade came after 2 minutes and pinsa after around 10. Would definitely recommend!

I was surprised that such a bad service still exists in Brasov.. we got the wrong wine (red instead of white..), part of our food was missing (I'll spare you the details.. end of the story: they didn't have salad left in the kitchen and just acted like it wasn't part of the dish.. no apology, nothing (of course its no problem if they run out of something.. but just say it before or at least apologize etc. It bothered me how they handled the situation). Also: we ordered the same drinks like we had the last time we visited Publick (back then they were really good and I was looking forward to drink them again) and this time they were not drinkable (also here I'll spare you the details) - I was sad that the same drink at the same place can be thaaat different. Unfortunately, we didn't have a nice evening. But: the Pinse are quite good. I can recommend them. The music was also good.

The atmosphere is really nice although the music is rather boring for night of January the 1st or any other night for that matter. Service decent but we were really dissapointed with food quality and speed. We waited 30min for 1 pinsa cotto and it came white (underbaked) and dry. We would have ordered another to see if only this one specific was bad but we didnt want to wait another 30min. If you are a pinsa place either be really fast or really good with it. The place was 30% occupied so that cant be an excuse either.

Poor service by the barman. A simple question to him as we arrived seemed to annoy him since we didn't get seated and wait for the floor staff to find us and then ask her who would then go and ask him. Simply wanted to know if there was Bacardi being served and would save time to ask the barman (who wasn't busy as it was a slow night). Just to clarify though, after the 3 rude responses, they do not serve Bacardi 😅
