We discovered the Gartenstadtcafé on a walk and visited it at the next opportunity. The café is small but lovingly designed. There are a few tables outside and inside on the first floor in a homely atmosphere. The treats on offer are exceptionally good. We tried the cakes and you can taste that they are homemade and use high-quality ingredients. There are different types of cake every day. The lemonades are homemade and taste wonderfully summery, and the coffee is freshly prepared using a portafilter machine. The couple who run the café are very friendly and we received a friendly welcome and had a great chat with the owner. It's a bit of a stroke of luck to have this café right around the corner from us. Reservations are recommended, especially at the usual coffee-drinking time. This can even be done online.

Nice café in a quiet location - definitely worth a visit! We were there with the stroller and luckily got a nice spot :-) but in the future you will definitely have to make a reservation (at least on the weekend). As it should be for a Sunday, the café was well attended. Food and drink was delicious, service was friendly and quick! I would have liked 1-2 more savory dishes (filled bagels? Savory muffins,...?) but what isn't there can still be! Keep it up 😌

Were there for the second time today and again everything was perfect. When the weather is nice, the cafe is very busy even during the week, which is why a reservation makes sense. Alex is an extremely friendly and attentive host, Franzi is an excellent baker! Coffee and cake extremely delicious and homemade. We also try to fulfill special requests at our discretion - my girlfriend wanted something warm and savory (which isn't available YET) and the two of them made delicious scrambled eggs. TOP! The price-performance ratio is also good My friends and I ate the best pizza rolls ever at your place today and the other guests also wanted a DSD recipe - maybe you'll put them on your menu? We'll definitely be back and look forward to mulled wine and Roster etc. in winter. Thank you both ❤️

A great, loving little café in the garden city with great service. There are homemade cakes and various coffee specialties. A few savory things would be nice. The café is run with a lot of love and passion. We are already looking forward to mulled wine and roasters in winter ;)

Went to the café for the first time today and definitely not the last time! Very tasty cake and good coffee/tea/cocoa. All this for a reasonable price! Very nice hosts. We will be back!!

I was here for the first time today and I have to say that my wife and our son have already come here twice. The two owners are friendly, we had a good conversation. Thank you for that. Now to the actual garden city café: The lovingly designed café can be sat outside and inside on the 1st floor with a homely atmosphere. There are not only homemade cakes and various café specialties, but also other food and drinks. Value for money for homemade ones were great. One tip: Reservation is an advantage.

Been there today. The cake was delicious, the drinks were great, whether warm or cold. The two operators are super nice, friendly, warm and open-minded. A nice little café with style and the right ambience. A big win for the garden city. We look forward to coming back soon.
