An assortment of various goods, abundant and busy market with a local food court with cheap prices too! You'll find a food court on the ground level and food stalls on the first floor. It's an old school shopping mall selling a lot of snacks and textiles. The best part is likely the fruit market on the corner near 7 Eleven. The bathroom here costs 3 baht and it's pretty clean

Came here to kill some time before a flight. Massive maze of indoor and outdoor market stalls. If you can't find it here, then it probably doesn't exist. Some hot and cold food vendors too. Worth a look, we were the only tourists in the place.

The market here is definitely something to check out if you’re in chaing mai. It is absolutely gigantic and probably contains everything that you can possibly imagine. Other than AC. It is surprising clean and not stinky at all, would definitely recommend.

A very good market with a wide selection of produce and products, material shops on the peripheral and an abundance of northern tribal products, the central area is fruit veg and dried produce, herbs and spices. Fresh produce and tourist items. There's one stall that does a really good papaya salad. K Herbs stall has a good selection of freshly dried herbs and spices.

Quite a big place with a few levels and numerous shops. We went there at around 8am on Sunday, and was expecting most shops to be opened. But many were still closed. Good place to buy dried fruits: Dried Mango: THB 200 for 1kg Dried longan: THB 200 for 0.5kg There’re many shops selling clothes and shoes as well. You can also buy food seasonings too, such as curry paste, but prices at the supermarket may be better. I’m not sure how the taste and quality compares though.

Wasn't too impressed with this local market in the east side outside of old town. They vendors sell many dry products, seafood, meats, clothing etc on different floors. Wasn't too different from your average Chiang Mai market. Wasn't much eat options as well, was hoping to eat some thai dessert snacks there.

This is the place to go for souvenirs! There's are so many shops! There are shopping stalls on the street and more inside the buildings! Try not to get lost in the maze of memorabilia. They have price tag that make we think it is fix price but still you can still negotiate for 10-40% off if u want

Warorot Market ตลาดวโรรส One of tourist attractions in Chiang Mai Province, regarded as the largest and most well-known market in the north region of Thailand. Located at Wichayanon Road, Tambon Chang Moi, Chiang Mai City and close to Chang Khlan Road. You can buy almost anything at Warorot Market, a real mixed bag of everything. There are fresh/dried fruit - vegetables - flowers, butchery and bakery items, herbs, condiments, clothing, shoes, cosmetics, jewellry, lacquerware, silks, hemps, handicrafts, ceramics, wood carvings, beauty supplies, household appliances, electronic gadgets, sunglasses, watches, souvenirs, and fireworks, just to name a few. All items are really cheap. If you want something, just look around.

Great place to check-out local snacks and delicacies. Old school indoor market. Although it's a bit cramped, the aisles are clean and orderly. Definitely recommended to experience local culture and pick up some souvenirs along the way.

One of our absolute favorite shopping areas and markets in Chiang Mai! We go here frequently to shop. It is a huge market with lots of booths and surrounding shops with all sorts of unique items that you can buy at very reasonable prices. It is made up of two huge buildings with indoor markets, and many outdoor shopping stands along the surrounding sidewalks, plus many street shops in about a 2 or 3 block surrounding area. They have the largest fresh seafood market in town here, and the flower market is right next door. We buy lots of sundries, including coffee, tea, fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, snacks and desserts, nuts, spices, and cooking supplies. We also enjoy shopping at the booths that sell unique handmade items, like clothing, bags, jewelry, wood bowls and cutting boards, etc. It is often very busy, but not too crowded to be able to shop without having to fight a crowd. There are also plenty of food stands, if you need a snack. Plan on spending several hours here wandering through the market, then exploring the shops on the surrounding streets. We have always recommended this market to friends visiting Chiang Mai, and we will keep going back!

Very well designed market with high roof, so the place is not hot even without air conditioning. A wide selection of goods and products on sale here at reasonable prices.

I did not like it as much as the Sunday night market but it is a close second. It is definitely a lot better than the night bazaar (several bazaars next to each other) that had more expensive items by at least double and many shops closed. Warorot had so many vendors inside and right outside that we did not even look at them all and the prices were very reasonable. We had already eaten so we did not buy food buy shopped for clothing, fabric, etc. If you only have time in your trip to fit in two markets, make it this one and the Sunday night market! You’ll see plenty and get the best deals.

4 stars only because I cannot find stationary 😃 But it's nice. Lots of stuff to see. No pushy vendors. And there's a nice canteen area at the basement. You can buy sausage and sticky rice and eat there. And the sausage here is special. Has more herbs than other places. 😃 We also ate vermicelli. Which is super nice. It's sourish and spicy.

If you come to the Warorot market, I highly recommend that you go to the food court on the basement level and taste the fishball rice noodles there. All the side dishes are special, such as basil, wood ginger, bean sprouts, fried pig skin, etc., it maintains the original taste of the food, I love it very much, this is the reason I come to Chiang Mai every time, just to eat the most authentic best rice noodle in the local area, it always surprises me. The boss should have been driving for decades, but recently the price has risen, 30 baht, but I still like it. If you love Thai food, you must not miss it here.

A very interesting local market in Chiang mai. So many vendors selling different items, including but not limited to food, flowers, clothes, shoes and bags, fabrics, desserts etc. Very difficult to find parking if you go by a car. Roads are crowded nearby.

My family came to Chiang Mai and visited Warorot Market together to buy souvenirs. The price is written on the item. It's a fixed-price system, and if you buy a lot, the price is reduced a little. It was hot, but it was cleaner than I thought and parking was good.

The mother of markets in Chiang Mai. If you love open market shopping, this is your place. Bring cash and prepared to be Wowed! If you like this style of shopping, give yourself plenty of time to stroll around and take in all this market has to offer. Stop for mango sticky rice, a tea to drink while walking around, warm coconut crepes and even a roasted chicken for dinner. Fresh produce and food as well as teas and spices and clothing and fabric as well. Love this place! Enjoy.

Huge variety of products. There are different floors. Usually in upper floors you can find fashion with really cheap prices. Ground floor usually have food and ingredients. But not only this, there are plenty of different stands every where inside and outside the building surrounding the official market. You can find fresh products and places to eat in the street. There's also a food court (small one) with a large variety of different options. This market is mainly for locals, so prices are low, much lower than night market!! Recommended :)

A great market on the east side of old city. Cheap food, clothes, and beauty services! Come at night to try delicious curries and my personal favorite, the fried chicken/meat stall!

Lots of stuff, street food, fruits, smoothies, desserts, assessories, but dried insects are definitely the most interesting spot. I didn’t try any as the stalls look a little unclean....
