One
of
our
absolute
favorite
shopping
areas
and
markets
in
Chiang
Mai!
We
go
here
frequently
to
shop.
It
is
a
huge
market
with
lots
of
booths
and
surrounding
shops
with
all
sorts
of
unique
items
that
you
can
buy
at
very
reasonable
prices.
It
is
made
up
of
two
huge
buildings
with
indoor
markets,
and
many
outdoor
shopping
stands
along
the
surrounding
sidewalks,
plus
many
street
shops
in
about
a
2
or
3
block
surrounding
area.
They
have
the
largest
fresh
seafood
market
in
town
here,
and
the
flower
market
is
right
next
door.
We
buy
lots
of
sundries,
including
coffee,
tea,
fruits
and
vegetables,
dried
fruits,
snacks
and
desserts,
nuts,
spices,
and
cooking
supplies.
We
also
enjoy
shopping
at
the
booths
that
sell
unique
handmade
items,
like
clothing,
bags,
jewelry,
wood
bowls
and
cutting
boards,
etc.
It
is
often
very
busy,
but
not
too
crowded
to
be
able
to
shop
without
having
to
fight
a
crowd.
There
are
also
plenty
of
food
stands,
if
you
need
a
snack.
Plan
on
spending
several
hours
here
wandering
through
the
market,
then
exploring
the
shops
on
the
surrounding
streets.
We
have
always
recommended
this
market
to
friends
visiting
Chiang
Mai,
and
we
will
keep
going
back!
