We had a MARVELLOUS one-night stay at The River Maekampong. The facilities are clean and new, staff were friendly and helpful. They were very observant and prompt in helping us with our luggage as well as clearing the crockery shortly after our dinner/ breakfast. Environment is great with a scenic river view and nicely constructed paths to our room. We had mookata for dinner and it was a fantastic experience eating yummy quality food at the convenience and privacy of our own room (outdoor area). They even provided a bath bomb for us to enjoy our bath at the outdoor bathtub. SUPERB! The great service did not end after we checked out the next morning! We realised that we left behind our thermal water bottle in the room while we were on the way to Chiang Mai city. We weren't able to return to the resort due to our schedule. The boss at the resort actually took the initiative to call us and offered to send the water bottle to their office at Chiang Mai city for us to pick up! This is totally beyond our expectations and we are utterly impressed with the amazing customer service! The River Maekampong is definitely the place to go if you are looking for an accommodation when visiting Maekampong. 👍👍👍👍👍

If you love glamping on the side of river, this place is quiet and peaceful. Love the service and decoration. The room and bed are nice and cozy. Try outside bathtub experience and BBQ dinner. Want to visit one more time again

I really like their towel. White towel is quite hard to maintain especially after a long period of heavy usage. I’m impress with their towel and I really don’t feel reluctant to use them. The owner was very kind and very responsive. I always text her on FB and she always reply at the soonest time. Dinner can be ordered from the homestay and will be served at in front of your camp. You have the option of moo kha ta or BBQ rib. Breakfast served in front of the camp as well. Their porridge is yummy. Strongly recommend if you want to be away from the city and slp with the sound of nature.

A very nice spot along the stream for a holiday retreat. The scene is a true nature therapy experience. Hundred spots for photos. Though some things to take note on: (1) It could get real cold and damp during the night. (2) Be sure to close the washroom door when unused because bugs and insects love lightbulbs. (3) Those with bug/insect bites allergy should not visit because bugs/insects are everywhere, it is recommended you opt for the resort rooms on the main building instead of the bungalows/tent (because you can never keep bugs/insects/ants out).

Everything is good. Except the shower water is smaller and not hot enough

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.

A great hideaway spot. Beautiful and quiet, perfect for recharge and rejuvenate. Delicious dinner set and beautiful breakfast really fullfil the perfection of staying in this place.

The host Aor and team are excellent and the place is beautifully kept and maintained. Bugs are unavoidable as we are in the nature so just prepare to live with it. Booked mountain camp 1 & 2 recently and loving it ! Thanks to Aor and the team for their hospitality. Strongly recommended
