My boyfriend and I found this quaint spa on our first day in Chiang Mai. It was a lot fancier than most of the massage places we had gone to and you definitely get what you pay for, as the staff were very kind and catered to everything you needed. It was extremely clean, and you started off your massage with your feet washed in water with flowers and lemon. We had a locked basket to place our belongings and the massage room itself was really nice (should have taken more photos). But overall, loved the experience as the staff were so nice!

What an amazing find! I'm only disappointed we discovered Baan Thapae on our last night in Chiang Mai, or we would be able to go back! Fantastic service and professional massages in an extremely relaxed and quiet setting. From the warm welcome to the delicious tea and mango at the end, it was luxury all around. Highly recommend.

The service was great, very friendly staff and most importantly: very good therapists that adapt their massage to your capabilities - e.g. muscle injuries - so you won't get hurt. It was very relaxing and the facility was very beautiful, clean and atmospheric. A nice garden and delicious tea. Thank you!

I went here for my first ever Thai massage during my first visit to Thailand. The staff were really welcoming. Booking an appointment was easy. The massage itself was excellent. You are made to feel like a guest the whole way through. I would definitely recommend and especially if it’s your first Thai massage.

Environment is nice. Counter staff also nice. But the massage staffs here not all good or same standard. The staff did for my friend was good. This is my worst massage experience during my Chiang mai trip. No strength, no consistent, very perfunctory, even i feedback to her. First time, i felt very restless during massage.

I had a traditional Thai massage for 1 hour and it was an awesome experience. They took care of me very well and it was for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Tad. I would totally come back again!

Well worth the money. Best massage I've had, as well as some adjustments. Definitely a must-do in Chiang Mai if you're not on a tight budget. Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was tranquil.
