I recently stayed at the DusitD2 in Chiang Mai and had an amazing experience. The hotel is located in the center of everything, making it convenient to visit all the must-see places in the city. The hotel is beautiful from the inside out, and the rooms are spacious, spotless, and well maintained. The beds were super comfortable, and we had all the amenities required for an enjoyable stay. The staff was friendly and professional, making us feel welcome and taken care of throughout our entire stay. The hotel offered us a wide range of facilities, including a gym and swimming pool, all of which were of excellent quality and provided a great value for money. The restaurants served delicious cuisines which catered to all tastes and preferences. We loved our stay at this hotel. The location is perfect - near the night market and not a long walk into town. Staff were great. Breakfast was good. The swimming pool was fine. We alway found a sunbed. The room felt tired and in need of refurb. There was insufficient storage space; the light switches challenging carpets stained. However it didn’t detract from a fantastic stay.

First of all, the staff and service is, as usual, outstanding. The location is awesome and perfect to explore the inner „square“ or the markets around. On the other hand, I didn't like the room or the pool. They just felt old and dusty. We also found a cockroach, but it was already dead. Maybe he didn't like the room either. The breakfast was also good. All in all, okay for a city trip.

We stayed here for 8 days. Perfect location for exploring Chiang Mai. The room was very clean. Breakfast was good and the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was also very relaxed. We would stay again when visiting Chiang Mai. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

Great hotel for my stay in Chiang Mai, great location and the staff are excellent. Could not fault this hotel for my stay for the week. Highly recommend it. Breakfast was good and I did eat dinner in the restaurant twice and the meals were very good.

Hotel with excellence location. Rooms are quite good too. I like the colour scheme. Buffet breakfast can be improved. 30m from the night bazaar for shopping, massage and food.

We booked 3 rooms and we are so pleased and satisfied with DusitD2 services from front desk to restaurant and housekeeping. I must praise Mr NEW for his excellent services showered to us at the restaurant. Chef is so good with breakfast and dim sum buffet. We have happy meals everyday. Housekeeping lady too providing cleaned rooms daily. all in all we are so happy to stay here. Location is near to many night markets. Distance to city also near mostly within 15 mins of driving. A highly recommended hotel to stay in Chiang Mai.

Located in front of Kalare Night Bazaar and Chiang Mai Night Bazaar. With its price point, it's very worth it to stay here. The room is clean, the quality of slippers (important! haha) are amazing as well. Breakfast tasted good with various options. Sadly there's no free coffee machine. But no complaints! Definitely will stay here if I go to Chiang Mai again someday.

First time staying in this hotel & it was a very pleasant experience. Made my booking months ago directly on the hotels website. Communication with the Reservation Team was very good & they responded very promptly. On arrival, the Thai hospitality prevailed & was very pleasant. We booked the Suite Rooms which were very spacious but a tad bit tired. Maybe a bit of an upgrade would be good. But at the reasonable prices, no complains at all. Here are some of the positives. 1. Location - Amazing with everything on the doorstep. Night bazaar, food & massages everywhere. 2. Spacious Room - Recommend the suite as its very large with separate bedroom & lounge room. 3. Hospitality - Simply Amazing Need for Improvement 1. Communication- initial communication with Reservation Team was a bit of a challenge. We requested for some additional complimentary perks but was refused outright. Considering we were making a booking for 3 Suites, I don't feel our request was over the moon. 2. Room Switches - Very confusing. The room is well lit but finding the switches for the lights was a challenge. 3. Espresso Machine - only 1 coffee pod was provided for 2 persons and was not refilled. 3. Pillows - a bit too soft for everyone. Requested for firmer pillows which they promptly provided but was still way too soft. Overall Experience: Will surely stay here again when I visit Chiang Mai. Hopefully there will be improvements.

This is a pretty fancy place. Not my usual but work paid for two nights. Right by the night market. Great breakfast. Poor coffee which was a bummer:(. Lobby bar was lovely. If this place is in your budget it’s worth the stay. Sorry no pics.

Wonderful place. We have come here every year since 2009. We love it. The staff is exceptionally friendly and warm and treats us like family. They are always helpful with any needs we have.. The location at the night bazaar is, I think, the best in the city. The food in the restaurant is awesome at a reasonable price. The suite we stay in is roomy, well designed and impeccably maintained. In my working career I was an international airline pilot. I have traveled the world and stayed in more hotels than I care to think about. Dusit D2 is my hands down favorite.

First time to stay at D2 Chiang Mai, worth to stay 3 nights here. Its location is good to go anywhere downtown with owned car or public transportation, not far from night market. The room is so nice, wide sapce, clean and cozy especially mattress. The staffs all are with good service mind and smile. Breakfast Buffet is a good combination of International and Local food. So impressed in overall.

Everything about D2 is mostly great. Rooms are big and thoroughly cleaned daly. Staff are friendly and helpful, hotel in perfect location. The only thing bad is food at breakfast, very poor quality. For a hotel that is part of a chain, that is bad.

I stay in Chiang Mai for 3 months every year. I do not stay in this hotel, I only go there to use the gym. Very clean, good service. A good variety of equipment. It is affordable and it is never too crowded. I come every day!

great hotel. good location, next to the night market. very good breakfast!!! and the best thing is staff. they are very friendly. always with a smile. we use the room service once and it wqs good. happy hour between 5:30 to 8:00 pm oh and next to the hotel is a laundry with good prices.

The DUSITD2 was great for us very central for eating places, markets, bars. The pool in the hotel was lovely and easy to order bar service. We had breakfast ordered in the hotel which was fab. The staff were great and so attentive we loved the place would go back there.

Convenience location in the heart of the city, only 15 mins from the airport. Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good quality. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Only went there for dim sum at cafe Soi. Ordered 3 dim sum sets (each set you get to choose 6 items from the menu) for 3 adults. The fried dishes come out pretty quickly compared to the steamed ones, but all items taste great. They also provide a 20% discount for the food and non-alcoholic drinks if you become a member (free of charge). Overall I was super satisfied with the meal. I highly recommend it!

Very nice and clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. I had an excellent Thai massage at the hotel spa, my masseuse, Khun Gib is a highly skilled therapist, truly one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

Very nice staff. The food in the hotel is very good. The location is very convenient. There is a night market next to it. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the old town. There are many small shops along the way. The hotel is a little bit old, it would be better if it is refurbished

Great service at the front and amazing breakfast! The rooms were okay…we did find a critter (insect) inside our room which was disappointing since it advertised as a 5 star hotel.

Great hotel,  clean , friendly staff ,great service, comfortable beds .In the rooms you have  a fridge, TV, a safe & a kettle with tea & coffee supplied. Great location , the night markets are across the road with a central eating area  . Walking around the city is easy from the hotel,  Chiang Mai is a relaxed friendly place to visit. We included breakfast in our booking & definitely worth it Happy hour daily . I recommend this hotel.

I had 2 days BF experiences, BF options is so common, not fancy. However, quality&hygetic can't complain. Staffs are friendly, well-trained.

The DusitD2 Chiangmai is the most excellent place I ever stayed. The receptionist team will treat you like you are member of their family. Since the first step, the enthusiastic bell crew who always offer help to carry things, this is such a warm welcome. They will make you feel love and care. Room was spacious, very very clean and tidy. The housemaid had done excellent job. Breakfast was so delicious although there were few staffs who ran the service but the quality was never fell. Lastly, special thanks for Ms. Gik Hannah, for lovely conversation every morning. God bless you and see you next year.

Stayed here in March 2022. Due to Covid-19, there were not many guests staying here. When I checked in, there was only one porter and one front desk staff who also doubles as the bar staff. I guess for that entire day I checked in, I was the only guest. As a requirement of my return flight, I needed to do an AKT test. The front desk staff was very helpful in calling and checking for me the nearest hospital in Chiang Mai that does this test. She also helped me book a Grab (which came in 1 minute literally) when I said I wanted to do the test that day. I booked a suite as the price was really good. The room is very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. All the things are working. Due to Covid-19 and persistent lack of tourists, the area outside the hotel is deserted. There used to be an alfresco drinking joint with live band. Now it is just an empty plot of land. Breakfast was good. There is a good selection and the food is delicious. It was a buffet but due to Covid restrictions, some of the food items I could not take mysef - the staff will help me take the food and in some cases, deliver to my table. My stay throughout this time has been pleasant and I would like to stay here again when I am in Chiang Mai.

The DusitD2 Hotel in Chiang Mai was like a diamond in the rough. Due to Covid, the area appeared to be struggling during the day but at night seem to wake up with street vendors, but that was not the case once you stepped into the DusitD2. We had a perfect room with a wonderful view of the mountains (we were on the 6th floor) and the rooms were impeccably maintained daily. The staff exhibited hospitality at its best, from the informative front desk, to the servers in the restaurant. It was a perfect location for us. Close enough to walk to the Old City, but far enough away from the tourist masses. A special thanks to Marina, Gig and Si at the front desk and Keng Ka at the restaurant for your gracious hospitality.

I made a reservation for two deluxe rooms with a connecting door. My family and I expected to see a 5-star hotel at the highest level. Unfortunately, we got two rooms on the 7th floor with antic equipment and old furnishers and to top it all the smell of moisture and urine was very dominant and made our staying impossible. After looking at the rooms, we went down to the reception and told them about the condition of the rooms asking for rooms replacement. The staff understand our problems and complaints but could not deliver rooms that meet our basic needs of a good condition and non-smelling one. In retrospect, we saw that the 7th floor was the subject of many complaints on the web. With this situation, we had no choice but to leave and check out of hotel the following day.

From the time booking was done and my first email to request early check-in to being greeted, the service was exceptional! We booked a total of 8 rooms for our stay and we were impressed by the level of great service from the team. Our stay was from 30 Sep 2022 for 3 nights. Special mention to Gig the front desk manager, she was passionate about making sure we were checked in promptly and organised in advance getting our rooms ready. Even when one of the rooms wasn’t as expected, she accommodated to change and upgrade the room. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Location is excellent. All the service staff were also very friendly. We will surely book our stay with DusitD2 should we visit Chiang Mai again.

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything is perfect! This place is great if you want a place for family gatherings. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, good location, easy to travel around Chiang Mai. Room service is very good and the staff are always smiling and everyone speaks fluent English.
