I saw so many good feedback about your amazing food and services, and decided to bring my family here for Christmas. I didn’t know that the place is fully booked for the next 2 weeks 🥲, perhaps because it’s festive season now. Nevertheless, when we heard that walk-in customers might be accepted, we wanted to try our luck. Although we had to wait more than 1 hour to dine in, you really didn’t let us down. We were completely blown away by super delicious and finest dishes and extremely amazing service. I am myself a very meticulous person but I have to admit that I couldn’t find any single moment that I didn’t feel satisfied tonight. I love how soft and gently everyone in the kitchen communicated and worked with each other in the kitchen, how foods were served quickly and nicely, how Chef came to our table and explained every single dishes. We felt so sorry that we were too full to finish the dessert and ice cream. But all has been so amazing not only about food but also how we’re served and treated with your kindness ans generosity. On the way home, my sisters kept talking about how much they are full and feel happy about the dinner as well as how much they are worried about your business because we all feel we didnt give enough for what we received 😄 Thank you for making our experience in Chiang Mai the best ever. This restaurant is such a phenomenal hidden gem ! The tasting menu was delicious! There is also a very adorable sitting area in the back adorned with a man made fish pond in the floor. The food is beautifully designed and taste delicious! The chef is amazing and the staff is so attentive. The chef’s attention to details and service is top notch. The Vietnamese version of Tom Yum soup (Thailand dish) was outstanding. We enjoyed every single bite !

The chef explains every meal and it’s inspirations giving it a Michelin style feel. I can’t say I had a favorite dish because all of them were great. We took a grab because we did the bottomless wine menu and we got a free ride home afterwards! Honestly service here is top notch. Don’t question it. Just do it.

A newish addition to the city dining scene this restaurant and lodging establishment is tucked away in a small south close to the old city and the night time entertainment areas. The menu is excitingly different with a Thai fusion theme. Service is charming and well timed not to rush you through your lunch or dinner. Be aware that portions are generous, dishes can be very rich, while the preparation is very good. The stuffed baked avocado for example is a whole fruit stuffed with a crab filling. Over a number of visits the cooking has been very consistently good and definitely value for money. If I was to find fault it would be the alcohol choice of a decidedly limited selection of wines and spirits. The choice of beers is a mixture of local and imported with quixotic changes on each of my visits. Definitely a great place. The entire dinner experience was a wonder from start to finish. Chef Boy and his family really made the dinner service one for me to remember. Presentation of each dish was done carefully making every dish look as appealing as it was tasty. Garnishing was all edible too! The taste and textures of each dish were very carefully considered. There is usually a balance of soft and crunchy/crisp. Sweet, sour, spicy, savoury, all well balanced. The place is nice and chill, with live music and attentive service.

Chef Boy’s food and service was impeccable. He personally explained each dish to us and the staff on duty made sure our glasses were always filled. Everything was well thought out. I loved every dish. The only thing that I didn’t quite understand was the lemongrass salmon with the Thai sauce as it masked the taste of the salmon but my companion loved it for that very reason. I’m so impressed with everything at this restaurant because of the unforgettable experience. There was a live musician strumming the guitar and playing song covers, the food was curated so well, I could tell Chef put in alot of effort in his restaurant. Would love to go back and have another meal.

We had the BEST experience here, the service was absolutely impeccable, the chef talked us through every single dish with such care and passion and I was so lovely to see how much he cared about his food and he was so attentive to our tastes and experience. The flavor combinations were unlike anything I've had before. Powerful, but very complementary. The chef was probably the nicest and most engaged chef I've ever met. All of decorative flowers are organic and edible, but the taste are a bit weird for me. Chef boy and all of the staffs are very nice and offer everything that beyond your expectation, and they can take care my 3-year-old boy very well without any extra charge. Environment is very good, feels like having dinner at home. The singer is awesome and make you feel lively. The price is affordable and worth every baht that you spend. Wine paring is also great. We stumbled upon this cozy restaurant on our first night and thoroughly enjoyed the food, the ambience, and the service so much that we went back several times throughout our week long stay in Chiang Mai. We tried handful of highly rated restaurants here but there is definitely something very special about this. Every single dishes we tried were absolutely delicious and memorable. Special call out to Stir fry red curry, which is to die for! And the staff remembered us and made us feel so welcome every time. They gave us complimentary ice cream and mango dessert too. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience! 🙏❤️

What a wonderful new restaurant! We had a lovely night sitting outside. The staff were very friendly and efficient, serving up delicious Thai food. Because it is new they are offering a discount if dining before a certain time. They even gave us a serving of freshly made mango ice cream. Very convenient location. Otherwise an exceptional meal for 1000 baht (2 drinks, four meals) of mostly seafood. Sit outside as inside although air-conditioned can be a noisy and mosquitos are trapped

Don’t bother reserving a table, they don’t honour reservations. As non meat or shellfish eaters, despite there being several fish dishes on the menu, most were not available. However they were happy to offer us canned tuna! They accepted our order for 2 portions of vegetarian spring rolls but only produced 1 portion. I asked repeatedly about the 2nd portion. After 45 minutes they told me that they cannot make 2 portions. Insanely slow service. No cocktails, the only alcohol available is beer and poor quality house wine at 200thbt per glass. Based on my experience, I’m seriously wondering if the previous reviews are genuine.

He pays careful attention to the balance of flavors and many of the dishes he incorporated an ingredient in an artistic way so you are able to add spice to the level of your liking or balance out something sweet with a flavor that adds a bit of sour back into the dish. If you have any food restrictions, this is the place for you! The chef will happily prepare a dish for you! You will absolutely feel so well taken care of. Unlike many fine dining restaurants, this one feels very casual and comfortable. I love that you can enjoy such a decadent meal with a friend without the pretentious feel.

This is the second time we came on special occasion and we ordered the ChefTable Menu. The food was, once and again, absolutely delicious. Every single dish was very well done and felt like it was cooked with heart and high quality ingredients. Service was great and just right. The staff made sure everything was okay without being disruptive. Five stars in all aspects.

My wife and I came here while in Chiang Mai last week and haven't stopped talking about it. Just a few highlights below: - Beautiful garden/coy pond outside - Small intimate restaurant, open kitchen - AMAZING live music, not too loud, great song choice and incredible voice - Chef Boy and his family are nicest, most accommodating people (his brother even gave us a ride home after we finished our dinner) - Chef Boy explained the story behind every one of our (six) courses - Flavors were 10/10, amazing and bottomless wine pairings to go with the food 100% will be going back next time we're in Chiang Mai.

Chef Boy is an exceptional chef. All of the dishes he has made are brought to my table and he customizes the food to suit my needs. Many menus were created just for me because I am allergic to shellfish and do not consume meat. He swaps crab for grilled chicken with a spicy Thai salad as the first entrée. I can taste the Thai sauce that has been infused into the meat of this chicken. For the Tom Yum Soup, he combines Thai and Pho types of cuisine. Impressive is how he decorates his dishes. This dish calls for braising pork ribs in Chinese herbs. Some people believe that the tender pork ribs should be chewed until they dissolve in the mouth, but I disagree. However, I can tell that the chef spent the time necessary to cook this pork rib to perfection by how tender and juicy the meat is. He offers cold pressed juice before the main course arrives. The combination of mango and orange juice creates a flavor that is unlike any other. Seared salmon with orange and lemon is the next course on the menu. Salmon can be paired with either oranges or lemonade whether you prefer sweet or sour dishes. He inserted the salmon into the lemon grass stick using his inventiveness. Even though it isn't absorbed by salmon, this adds a lovely scent to the dish. My favorite dish is tapas with Chinese chives. In the end, I'm unable to finish the entire menu.

Absolutely amazing. We came for my husbands birthday, and were totally unprepared for the magical evening in store for us. The food is spectacular, and beautifully presented. The service is superb. The chef came out when each course was served and explained each dish. There is a musician playing relaxing music throughout the evening . It is an 8 course set menu, but will change some menu items if you don’t like or cannot eat what is on the set menu. You can get with or without wine. Come with an empty stomach!

My experience here was none short of AMAZING! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. The food was absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS (every dish was a piece of art, and the flavours melded perfectly together), the service top notch, and the calm, acoustic live music a very nice touch. I have been to many tasting restaurants back in Canada and in the US, and this restaurant definitely has one of my favourite tasting menu! At such a good price point too! The chef went above and beyond- from explaining each dish, to even when he found out we needed a taxi, having his brother drive us back to our hotel at no charge. Just phenomenal service from start to finish - my friend and I truly felt like we were family, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in Chiang Mai!!!!

There was something unique about how Chef Boy makes you feel taken care of from adjustments to the menu, to the beauty and creativity of the menu to offering to drive us home. There were surprises the whole evening that quite frankly made me almost tear up. I’ve done fine dining in a lot of places in the world but this definitely stood out on all fronts: quality of food, ambience with the live music and a special something that’s hard to describe. If there’s one thing you shouldn’t miss while you’re in Chiang Mai is dining at Chef Boy’s one of 6 nightly tables that he hosts. Thank you for making my birthday so special.

Hands down the best restaurant dining experience I've ever had. The chef came out and explained their influences for each dish and for me since I had dietary restrictions (shellfish and dairy) what they subsituted in place of these ingredients at no extra charge. The environment was clean, spacious and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious with pretty good sized portions as well. I was full by the end of all the courses. My friend brought me there for my birthday and if asked where I'd want to eat in Thailand I'd put this one as one of my top recommendations.

My mom, my brother and I went there today after seeing the overall 4.9 rating on Google. In my opinion, I cannot understand why the restaurant does not have an overall 5.0 rating. If you are looking to get something for your money, this is the place to be. The chef and staff (all are his family members) were all very friendly and each dish was delicious and made with detail. For overall 30€ per person, I could not imagine to get something similar anywhere else. The food was really tasty, giving you options to make them more sweet, sour or spicy, depending on your preference. The chef explained how every dish was made and what is the best way to eat it. Additionally, I love that they seem to go the extra mile. If you cannot finish the dishes, you get a discount on the menu. If you are still hungry, they will make you more. As a gift they gave each of us a small handmade elephant and a small handmade bag. The chef even asked us how we got to the restaurant, offering us to ask one of his family members to drive us home, if needed. We did not need it, but just the offer itself shows how friendly they were. I am very much looking forward to go there again. Thank you for a great lunch! P.S. Me and my parents celebrated our New Year’s Eve here and it was absolutely wonderful! The service was the best we have ever had, they were so attentive and kind- menu was personally introduced by the chef. Each dish was delicious, along with the drink pairings. Even though it was a six course menu, it wasn’t overwhelming, everything was perfectly timed- we left the restaurant very satisfied and not overly stuffed. There was live music which set a really nice atmosphere (not sure if this is only for nye). To top off the amazing meal, the chef provided us with a taxi and souvenirs to take home.

The food and overall experience was incredible. On the more expensive side for dining in Chiang Mai, but worth every penny. This might be the best meal we’ve ever had. It’s definitely up there. Our night at B Samcook Home16 was an incredible experience—one that our budget can’t normally afford. The chef has created a culinary experience at a price point that allowed us to try something extravagant. For around $55USD each we had a 7 course meal and unlimited wine. An incredible deal for the wine alone. Without the wine upgrade, it would be about 1/3rd less. It’s hard to pick a favourite course because everything was delicious. And not intimidating at all if you’re not used to fancy, multi course meals. The team walks you through every course and the chef came out to give a personal explanation of each meal. He clearly loves what he does and that shows through the food. It’s lovely to see a chef so passionate while also caring about enjoying the work, rather than climbing the culinary ladder. We hope to come back next year for our anniversary and can’t wait to either try the same menu or something new if anything has changed! Completely worth it! Make sure you book a reservation in advance.

The Hot Soup available at my visit was the Tom Yum soup with Vietnamese fusion and it was actually the best soup on this planet. The duck was savory and sweet and hit every part of my cravings. And the desert made by Chef Boy’s family was a show-stopper. But not to be forgotten is the service. From Chef Boy approaching us for each course and connecting with us as every dish is served, to the extremely thoughtful memento at the end of the meal. The chef takes the time to go around and describe the food to every table. My husband and I are vegetarian and they accommodated us perfectly. The white truffle sauce I want to bathe in!!! I would recommend this to everyone. Every dish had a fusion of flavours and a little story from the chef. We have dined at many Michelin restaurants and this is our favourite in Asia. And the atmosphere is super relaxed and you don’t have to reserve a few hours for the visit, which is a plus since we went with a baby. When she was fussy the chef took her to the kitchen so that we can eat.
