We took a special trip into Chiang Mai city to try here when a friend mentioned there was a very good chef working the kitchen. The food was delicious. Fried chicken sandwich was one of the best I've tasted. We ordered off the lunch menu and were both very happy and would like to try their breakfast/ brunch menu on our next visit. Service was fast and friendly, at the time of our visit around Sunday lunch it was getting busy, but there was plenty of comfortable seating ourdoor We had free parking without a wait, directly opposite in the Pantip Plaza car park. Look forward to a future visit to sample more, especially their extensive range of cakes on display. *Update. Went for a return visit since posting my review and found the food just as good! I has a Linny's grilled spicy chicken sandwich with crispy egg noodles and my wife had a chicken wrap. The chicken wrap was a very generous size and cut in half. The staff were more than happy to container and bag the remaining half to take home. Worth mentioning is the size of the lettering on the description of the menu. If you wear reading glasses then bring them as you'll definitely need them! The writing is so small and feint that almost impossible to read. I don't need or wear glasses but had to photograph the menu items on my phone and blow up the photo and even then it's hard to read. Hopefully they will address this next time they do a reprint of their menus. #Edit. Since returning yet again they have introduced nice easy to read new menus! Thank you Bella Goose!

Went for breakfast a few times while in town and was pretty good. American style foods including chicken and waffle, smoothie bowls, and biscuit sandwiches. They also had great cold brew coffee (one of the few places we found in town with cold brew). Chicken is tasty and well fried. The spicy option isn't that spicy, but still worth having. Would definitely go by next time in town. Pics attached.

The name "Bella Goose Cafe at the Hill" begs to ask 'Where is the Hill?' Anyway, let's just call it the Bella Goose Cafe, and we went there for coffees and snacks this week. The service was good and the ambience is wonderful - the place is spotless with plenty of good interior decor. The chairs are very comfortable, with inside and outside dining areas. The 'study room' is another great addition and the toilet is pristine with a lovely fragrance. Sadly the coffees were over twice the price of my favourite coffee shop, which happens to be close by, across the road in Pantip, and they were only average for flavour. We may be tempted back for the ambiance and comfort, but only if prices are lowered and quality improved.

Holy biscuits and gravy my friends! That is what you will find here. Stopped by for breakfast after our grocery run and boy oh boy did we pick a winner. I'm a sucker for strawberry shakes too so i had one with my biscuits and gravy. I know....but both were soooo tasty. My hubs had the fried chicken biscuit with egg. He never said a word until he was done. Can you say he inhaled it? He loved every last drop. Don't miss out on this Tennessee/Texas couples cooking skills. Thank you for a lovely experience. We're here for a month and are definitely coming back to explore more of your menu.👏👏👏👏👏 Grandpa Jones would yell "Yuuuum, Yum".

Fantastic coffee and a delicious breakfast. The biscuits are a must try! Very kind and helpful staff. Very clean space and all glass exterior so you can watch traffic go by. Large outdoor patio. Super cute stickers!

4.5 Stars. One of the best biscuits and gravy in Chiang Mai. Their biscuits and waffles are homemade. The portion sizes are very generous. The coffee is also quite good, not too sweet. The interior is also very nicely decorated. Definitely would recommend this spot for breakfast or brunch.

Amazingly tasty, eggs fried perfectly (still a little moist, not over fried), chicken still juicy and crispy and a little, but not too much, spicy on the outside (I'd buy the Tennessee breakfast just for the bite of this chicken), sauce is creamy and all ingredients are high quality. I wasn't too hungry, but my appetite increased with every bite. Service is impeccable. Comfortable, tasty, great experience. Coffee was surprisingly great, too - I had a flat white. Highly recommended! They have various attractive sweets and pastry as well, plus waffles recommended as divine in one of the previous reviews which I definitely intend to try later on.

We’ve had breakfast there two times now and we’re really happy with the food and service. They’ve got outdoor and indoor seating space. The bowls are really tasty and the coffee is good. The dirty chai is my favourite! Probably will have breakfast there again during our stay in Chiang Mai :)

I visited Bella Goose every day during my time in Thailand. Their coffee and food is fantastic, and there are so many options to choose from. The staff is friendly, helpful and always willing to help you find what you need. I highly recommend making this your new favorite spot for all your needs! Highly recommend their smoothie bowls, wraps and any of their coffee drinks.

I recently visited Bella Goose Cafe at the Hill and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of their food and drinks. The breakfast avocado sandwich I ordered was delicious - the avocado was perfectly ripe and the homemade bread added a delightful texture to the sandwich. But what really stood out to me were the lattes. They were expertly crafted and had a rich, full flavor that left me wanting more. The homemade bread used in the sandwiches was also a standout - it was soft and flavorful, and really took the sandwich to the next level. Overall, I highly recommend Bella Goose Cafe at the Hill for their exceptional food and drinks. The service was also top-notch, with the staff being friendly and attentive throughout my visit. I will definitely be returning to try more items on their menu

Very nice cafe. With benefits to the community and what in my books is why you should patron this cafe. MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Next to PanTip Plaza so good for parking. We had a veggie and rich dish, generous portions so it became a plate for two. I enjoyed a nice coffee. Prices are excellent. Good value for your money.

Tennessee and Texas in the house! Not only is the food delicious, it's consistent meal after meal. My family has been grabbing lunch here for years. The owners are American, so if you're looking for an authentic Big Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Chicken & Waffles, Biscuits & Gravy, or my personal favourite - what just might be the "World's Best" Southwest Salad (with homemade ranch), this is the place. Oh, and the owners divert profits into their own foundation, Wipe Every Tear. Have lunch - help make this awesome world even better. GO!

Bella Goose has it all! Delightful atmosphere, delicious food with generous portions, and service with a smile. Their Yogurt Bowl showcases their homemade granola and is paired with seasonal fresh fruit. Mine had kiwi and berries. YUMMY!!! I also highly recommend their Pumpkin Pie Latte for those times you want to splurge. But what really makes the dining experience special is the care and attention of the owners and their staff. It’s basically the Cheers of Chiang Mai. ;-)

Amazing place. I’ve ordered the chocolate and caramel waffles with whipped cream and it was d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s!! Cappuccino was also very good. The place is very clean, spacious, AC on the inside, outside area with many tables. The staff were also so nice, helpful and polite. I’ll come back, and can only recommend! Thank you :)

In store the food is good. The last two times I've ordered for delivery the food, at least some part is unpalatable. I ordered a buffalo burger with spicy mayo and the mayo is bitter and taste more like it's been spiked with chili powder than seasoned with it. As you are well aware dear reader, part of the reason we eat here is for all those sauces we miss from home. Until they get it together I'll be making my own sauces and sandwiches.

I give Bella Goose Coffee Cafe 5 stars on just about every level. The waffle with fresh fruit and cream is divine. Lattes were gorgeous. They use high-quality beans that result in a nutty, roasty flavor. The homemade sausage is not to be missed—delicious (and not Thai style, lol). Bathroom was spotless and smelled good. Atmosphere is clean and cosy.

DELIVERY REVIEW: I ordered Bella Goose thru the TUK app and had a great experience. Really seamless process. I ordered the fried chicken with biscuits and gravy and it was amazing. I’m from Texas in USA and it tasted a lot like home cooked meals back there. Everything was packaged in containers so that the gravy wouldn’t get on the biscuits before you poured them on. Side note: it came with coffee but I don’t drink coffee so can’t comment on it.

Bella Goose has coffee, but so much more as well. I speak as a non coffee drinker, so let me give you my food-wise taste journey. The smoothie are all excellent, my favorite being the cocoa protein one. The breakfast burrito transported me back to America. And the big Tennessee set breakfast was a miracle of teleportation as well. I was back in a diner in America, on a weekend. The chicken was perfectly fried, but not heavy like fast food. The biscuits and gravy were perfectly done. How that did that in Chang Mai is their secret, and your prize. What to order? At this point anything is amazing.

My wife and I heard about this coffee shop that helps people to develop teamwork and community. The food and the drinks we had were fantastic. I had the wonderful. banana caramel milkshake and my wife enjoyed a refreshing ginger drink. I had a cinnamon roll that was fluffy and fresh to eat and my wife had the nicest scone she had ever eaten in Thailand. Definitely recommend. I would sit inside as it is on a busy road.

I want so badly to give this place 5 stars because I love it so much. The biscuits and gravy are something I dream about constantly. The staff is amazing. However my friend and I were so excited to try the new pumpkin latte and were sooooo disappointed. Could not taste any pumpkin. It tasted like a watered down plain latte. Will I still go back? 100000%, just don’t recommend the pumpkin latte. Everything else I’ve tried is amazing.

The place is so cute and comfy. The girl working the counter is very friendly and speaks English well. I asked her to pick between the Biscuits and Gravy or the Chicken Sandwich. The coffee is good. A good spot to study/work with free WiFi. Clean and well maintained restroom. My only negative is the biscuits and gravy. My family roots are in Georgia and grew up in Texas. Biscuits and Gravy are a go to breakfast item. These were pretty damn good BUT way to much pepper for my comfort. My first bite I legitimately choked/coughed from the pepper. I would omit the pepper on top and just allow the customer to add at their own discretion.

Great breakfast/brunch. Coffee is lovely. I do think it's a little pricey, but it didn't disappoint in flavor! Portions were large and filling. Would definitely stop here again if in the area. Patio area was really nice and enjoyable. Friendly staff!

We stopped by on a recent visit to Chiangmai and I'm so glad we did! The food was amazing, portions were huge, the whole place was spotless, and the vibe was super low-key and relaxing. It almost felt like being in a cafe back home in the US. We got the chicken and waffles (oh my god, so good), chicken and egg sandwich, and a Tennessee breakfast - everything was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious, along with the coffee and Bella Sunrise smoothie. I would love to go back!

  • 3/5 Irina S. 2 years ago on Google
Had a weird experience with this one. The space is nice, with comfy feeling and good wifi - perfect for pretending you are working while enjoying your breakfast. However, the staff was way too relaxed. It was like I came across a school team, instead of a premier league team that previous reviews describe. They forgot my order twice. No one was looking after the tables. There were difficulties in translation of words latte and decaf. Waiting for a juice for 20min is too much. Latte was ok, cinnamon roll too sweet. The place accepts cards.

We ordered the bacon chicken ranch wrap with the crispy chicken addition while visiting here and a smoothie and cold drip coffee. It turned out to be one of the best wraps we have ever tasted. It was absolutely delicious and so much of it, too. We will definitely be going back.

Amazing food at good value! We went for brunch and we are pleasantly surprised to see their menu. There a good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food both Thai and International dishes. I ordered their Koy Basil (one of my favorite Thai dishes) and my fiancé got chicken waffles and they’re amazing! Their drinks are also outstanding, I had the best Chai Latte here so far! Highly recommended and will definitely come back.

Big fan of the food here. The biscuits are amazing (they're huge, so sharing is an option). All the chicken things are good annnd love the coffee

  • 4/5 zenbob 1 year ago on Google
Lovely little coffee shop that caters heavily to expats. The espresso drinks are good, but they seem confused by the idea of drip coffee. Asking for an iced coffee creates a large and needlessly complicated conversation. The baked goods I tried were a little on the dry side, but the spicy chicken sandwich was absolutely outstanding. Update: Went back and tried another espresso drink, and it was equally good. Nice vibe in the store, and the folks behind the counter are very helpful.

Ate here 2 times, first time was 5/5 delicious as pictured below. Second meal was a bit upsetting as the latte came in a takeout cup and the food I ordered had fine print on the menu so it came out different than expected , maybe my own mistake. Best Latte and coffee I have had in a Chiang Mai. People were friendly. A tad more expensive than the local food for sure, but you pay for the frills and the food being different than everywhere else. Overall I would recommend

Amazing. Definetely the best coffee shop in town. Beautiful space to hang out, have a moment or even work. Friendly and helpful staff. And their food is delicious.
