I don’t usually write a review but I’ll write one because they begged me to write one. The restaurant is pretty small with 4 tables and their air conditioning kind of sucks. The presentations were good but tastes were mediocre. Fried tomato peels were a little too chewy, fish was not great, and cream brûlée was curdling and had water at the bottom. The server who brought out dishes was nice and explained the dishes well, but they had another server who was kind of weird and kept pushing me to write a google review in exchange for a free cognac. She was very rude and snatched my phone out of my hand and pretended to throw it when I declined to leave a review. She also stared at us and commented on how “pretty” my girlfriend was, as if I picked her up somewhere. All in all, mediocre French cuisine ruined by the atmosphere. It would have been closer to 3.5 stars if they just brought the food and stayed silent.

The food was literally to die for and I can say almost everything was cooked or made to perfection with very professional presentation and awesome service. I went there with THE woman for a romantic dinner, we came a little early, and found the chef showing us to a table. We got the wine menu and ordered a good bottle. Biggest issue was the unduly long delays between courses, especially dessert (30min wait). FYI: Suboptimal location (small dark street), parking in an unlit lot about 100 meters away. Small aircon dining room, extra tables outdoors on the terrace, within a tiny guesthouse. Conclusion: my friends (locals) & I would return, but wouldn't bring any visitors.

Update: we tried to come here. I have had surgery that limits my eating. They were unwilling to accommodate in an arrogant fashion. I texted this issue and they failed to respond. I'm very disappointed. If you want a gourmet meal that goes out of their way, try B Samcock or House by Ginger. This restaurants starts with a really nice presentation. Each course was a work of art. The chef presented himself on a number of occasions and was very friendly and interesting. This is the place to go when you want a really fine evening of food and pleasure.
