A great hotel located right in Nimman, with lots of restaurants and the One Nimman and Maya malls within a 5 and 10 minute walk. The rooms are comfortable and there is a fitness center and small restaurant on the main floor for breakfast. Easy motorbike parking as well.

Amazing place to live in. Central to all entertainment and shopping areas! Many night markets near the area, therefore easy access to them. Worth the price to stay if you're coming to Chiangmai Thailand!

The hotel is excellent: service, conservation, smell, room, everything impeccable. The location is great if you expect to stay in a more modern area of Chaing Mai, with lots of bars and restaurants. I just don't give 5 stars here because the bathroom had a small problem of water running out of the shower stall that made the bathroom very wet.

Great experience here. I extended my stay here by 2 days because I was so comfortable. The staff is lovely and always helpful. The complimentary water, coffee and snack station was a lifesaver.

Super location - right at the centre of Nimman, while maintains a calm & cozy vibe. Superb service - every hotel staff is just friendly, helpful & wears a warm smile always! Especially Sar, who speaks perfect English, and proactive in sharing advices on restaurants, things to do... Definitely recommend!

We spent one at the Art Mai? Hotel and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and we even received some special treatment upon sharing that it was our anniversary. The location is also walking-friendly to many great restaurants. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would return ourselves.

Just because they are a caring bunch of beautiful people, it’s a gorgeous hotel with individuality and well designed rooms and they know how to make your stay wonderful. Thanks a lot for your thoughtful gift on my birthday. Will sure come back. Location is also brilliant amongst all the nice cafes, bras and great eateries.

Cool and nice place, very lovely staff. We had a perfect stay and a kind of funny breakfast: You can choose 2 of 3 sets: American (which comes as expected), European (Italian pasta for breakfast, surreal for Europeans °-°) and Thai wth spicy garlic fried rice (not less surreal, but tasty). Awesome infinity pool on the rooftop. Industrial-loft style architecture with visible (and during breakfast audible ;-)) drain pipes in the lobby. In summary not an everyday experience. We’d love to return!

We stayed in the connecting family room and Art Mai was just a great place to stay with 2 children (1 and almost 4 year old). Initially the baby cot was not yet in the room, but this was quickly solved. Large bedrooms (even separately) and comfortable bathrooms. Swimming pool was nice, small gym. The staff were absolutely the best. Proactive and helpful.

Just checked in to Art Mai Gallery Hotel. We arrived 2.5 hours before the advertised check in time and they were very accommodating and checked us in early to an available room of the same type. No fuss! Thanks.

There's very little to complain about this hotel. I would definitely stay here again. I loved the great location, cute and cozy room, a comfortable bed, close to everything, friendly staffs. Areas of improvements: The breakfast is very basic, and the hot water sometimes doesn't work well in the afternoon (needed to wait for several minutes). The gym was very basic (dumbbells and running machines)

First of all, I’d like to say that the staffs they are soooo sweet and so nice. We arrived with lots of luggages as it was our last two nights in Thailand. And the girls came running out to us in order to help us with the luggage. We were really impressed. The location of the hotel is perfect, near One Nimman and there are lots of café, bars and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is very well designed, the breakfast was ok. But the room is for the price quite small. With our luggages , the room was fulled. The swimming pool is small and almost has shade and no place to sit…. such a pity.

Had some issues with the lighting when we arrived but the staff sent a technician to fix it right away. Great hotel for the price and friendly staff. The pricing for laundry is a bit expensive but there's a coin laundry just 5 minutes down the street.

My wife and I stayed for our honeymoon and had a great time! The location is perfect and walkable to multiple bars, restaurants, coffee shops and shopping areas. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and was always willing to go above and beyond. I called ahead to let them know it was our honeymoon and the room was decorated when we arrived. We would definitely come back!

I stayed here as a solo traveller from September 6-10, 2023. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique boutique hotel stay in Chiang Mai. Pros: Wonderful location in Nimman. Steps away from One Nimman and Maya Lifestyle Mall. Great hospitality and customer service, the staff at reception and housekeeping are extremely friendly. The rooms are beautifully and uniquely designed. The bathroom is huge and the views of the mountains are stunning. Cons: Sometimes there can be noise from the hallway or from the upstairs room if they are a little loud. Investing in some soundproofing would be good.

The hotel is excellent: service, conservation, smell, room, everything impeccable. The location is great if you expect to stay in a more modern area of Chaing Mai, with lots of cozy bars around...the staff is super sweet and helpful. The girl noticed at the reception that we just checked in and my wife's birthday was one day prior and she came in with a cake singing happy birthday..adding that personal touch is just amazing...they can always work on the breakfast

Modern and clean hotel in the heart of Nimman district. A host of restaurants, cafes and literally at the doorstop of the lively White Market. The pool is amazing to cool down on this hot Chiang Mai afternoons. Breakfast is plentiful with a wide variety of options. The staff are extremely welcoming and attentive. The rooms are well designed and the bed is very comfortable. Looking forward to staying there again.

It is a super artsy and cool hotel. The rooftop pool has a nice view of the city and the surroundings. The neighbourhood is absolutely the coolest in Chiang Mai. Extremely hipster and there is a high concentration of excellent restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops. I would have given this hotel 5* if it wasn’t for the noise level in the room. It is no problem staying close to an airport and/or nightlife if you have insulated properly, but it is not the case here. The noise level from planes and nightlife is so high that it feels like having windows open all night. Important factor to consider if you are a light sleeper.

We had the most beautiful stay here. The staff are so attentive, we were staying over Christmas and we come back to our room to find a Christmas gift from them and a gingerbread cookie! It was so thoughtful. The food was fantastic, and as you walk out the hotel you have the most beautiful places to visit and markets. 100% recommend

My husband and I have just spent two full weeks at Art Mai and we don't want to go home! Everything has been perfect. The location is central to everything of course...but more importantly, the staff are so kind and helpful. The concierge have been very hospitable, helping us from arranging laundry, caring for our every need, greeting us warmly every day. The adjacent restaurant, Jarid, has been our home away from home. We heard this was the best breakfast in Chiang Mai. That is 100% correct. If you want the best food, the best service, and the best way to start your day, Jarid is the place. We are absolutely coming back as soon as we can.

Likes: •Location is perfect for me, right next to my favorite cafe. Also short walk to Maya shopping mall •Parking is indoor, just down the basement -very short walk up to lobby •Room was very stylish, clean, and quiet despite being next to tourist spots. •Washroom was good, got everything I needed. •Staff were very friendly and polite. They were quick to respond to my requests. •Rooftop pool was great view, and during my stay it was cold, perfect view with a cup of hot coffee Dislikes: •Breakfast felt repetitive, limited with simple menu, but that is just me. •Parking was plenty, but for my bigger motorcycle, I was constantly worried about other motorcycle cramping (parking too close) to mine. Would prefer to have a designated parking during my stay if possible •Would prefer if my room had Nimman view instead of One Nimman, but understandable. •Fitness was minimum, but I don't plan to use it anyway. •TV system feels a little old, no connectivity to my phone, so I did not use the TV at all

The hotel location is very close to Maya Mall and one nimman. When we entered the room, we found the gift they gave us as a Christmas gift. The staff are very friendly and kind. Also, there are many restaurants and cafés around. We can walk around Nimmanhaemin, which is the main road in that area. Highly recommend ♥️

More expensive than many hotels around but great location, a step away from the shopping centre, some very nice markets and food markets and an amazing Japanese area next to the shopping centre.

Great place to stay, everything in the room work well, clean and nice, comfortable atmosphere/bed/pillows, and the gym/pool are good to use. The location is just wonderful, close and walkable to lots of good restaurants/shopping malls there. They allowed me to check in few hours earlier without extra charge. Weekdays are more quiet and not a lot of people, cheaper price for room too! I’ll definitely come back to stay here in Chiangmai. Thank you all staff for your warm welcome!

I love this place. Good food. The employees are truly wonderful and understanding. I hope to go back one day. Euforia Aria is one of the employees and she is a great person she knows what to recommend, if you don't know what to order.

Good location and pleasant staff. The room was comfortable and it had everything I needed. The pool and gym are nice too. During covid the restaurant is closed so no breakfast however, the hotel offers complimentary tea and coffee which is a lovely touch.

Upon entering the room, we were welcomed with a pungent odor reminiscent of mold and mildew. With further investigation we have noticed the rancid scent coming from the air conditioning. Also of note was black growth that seemed to be populating on the sealant that was used in the bathroom. We had checked in late and were only here for one night so we decided to tolerate the shortcomings of this hotel. Compared to other hotels in Chiang Mai, I don’t know if I could say that I would stay here again…

It's a really nice and modern hotel. Large spacious bathroom. Room itself is not big. We had a connecting room so that helps. Very very humid. Humidity level in the room are usually above 70%. The location is perfect. Just steps away from the plaza One Nimmam. Around the corner is the Maya mall, which has everything including grocery. If they can control for the humidity and the wet/musty odor from that, it's definitely a 5 star.

Reminds me of citizen m hotels. Great location, this hotel is all about being in the new town for a reasonable price. Didn’t use the rooftop pool, in my opinion looks a lot better in the photos. It’s very small, but I didn’t come for that so not disappointed

Small room but well decorated. No breakfast available (as off 15 Dec 21, only snack, coffee and tea). The hotel located in a quiet road but closed to the mall and cafes. Near the reception is a small art gallery/exhibition. Staff are friendly.

Modern and beautiful decor. Attentive staff. Very convenient location close to restaurants and cafes. Room a little small for long stay.

Great hotel in fantastic location in heart of Niman. Comfortable beds, good AC and strong hot water. Fast wifi. Not sure I get the whole theme, but the hotel works well in all the basics. Pleasant surprise was the free cappuccino machine that made surprisingly good and varies coffee beverages. Housekeeping and overall service is good as well. Only complaint would be that the pillows are a bit lumpy. Overall, great stay!

Warm welcome from the hotel with very nice, kind, and helpful clerks. The room is clean (I was upgraded for some reason) well organized and stylish! Full amenity. Comfy bed. They also provide some snacks downstairs so I can grab a bit to my room. Electronic stuff work well. Enjoy staying in the hotel. Easy to wander around Nimman.

Great location! Walking distance to community malls, cafes and restaurants. All staffs have high level of service minds. Different art styles in different floors. I liked the surrealism room on the 6th floor the most. No breakfast offer but it was not a big deal.

The place looks super designed and beautiful. As a guest you notice that the towels are not so soft ... Turn of use... The pool was under renovation but they assured us there is another pool to use for free in a next by hotel. Bottom line pretty for Instagram but there are less photogenic hotels with more value

  • 5/5 G M. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent location next to best cafes in Nimmanahaemin area. Walking distance to Maya mall with amazing food court and shops. Loved the rooftop pool and welcoming staff. Would be my first choice to stay in Chiang Mai. Special thanks to Sai the best hotel receptionist met 5 star service everyday.

Location was very good. 5 mins to One Nimmen and many Michelin restaurants. Room is spacious but staff were helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Frank and Sar who are always there to answer your queries. We were allowed to check in much earlier than the usual time. It’s also near Maya Lifestyle Mall which is about 8 mins.
